[Q] No lockscreen after reboot

hello,

i am currently using centinal rom v 4.50, which ia an aosp 4.2.2 cm 10.1 based rom. the kernel i am using is the stock kernel that comes with the rom.

the thing is, once i reboot i dont have a lockscreen and it goes straight to the screen. for the lockscreen to re-appear i need to go to settings and activate it mannualy.

I am looking for a case for my Galaxy S4. I don't want anything super regged I just want some basic protection. I want something relatively thin that gives me a better grip on the phone and will protect it against light drops. Comfort is my biggest concern.

Any recommendations?

Well I have been using Fedora for more than 3 years, with Distro hopping a lot in between. Now I have a doubt.

I must have known this myself now, but somehow I missed it.

Forgive my noobishness but I really dont know where to begin here. Ive had my note 2 since November and this is my first android device. Anyhow, I flashed several roms these last few months and I prefer the ATT Cleanrom versions the best.

Hey,

I don't know why but sometimes my Power Button won't turn off my phone. Well ..actually not even the "Touch Control" Method works. But pressing it for ~5sec (whatever) makes the phone reboot. So the button is functionable.

Also my mobile data sometimes doesn't work .. no signal at all. I recieve sms , can make a phonecall and WiFi etc still works.

Actually is quite more complex then this. In order to get a Gtk free libreoffice, you need a set of gtk free dependencies too. Then disable gconf, evolution and gtk basically.

I'm running Viper XL 3.2.8 and I used to have power toggles in my pull down status bar (wifi, gps, flashlight, data, etc.). In the past few days, these have been replaced by quick launch icons that I find useless. I can still access these things if I go over to the quick settings, but I've been searching the settings for hours trying to get it back to how it was.

kernel suggestion.???

You could try booting another linux distro (if it has another kernel version even better) from a USB and try reading from the drive to check if its working there.

We have a server suffering from overloads and I believe it's related to Courier Imap. When the loads goes up (sometimes above 150) I see lot's of processes related to imap.

So basically this is my situation:

- Phone locked to Koodo.
- Bought unlock code.
- Entered the codes in the menu 2945#*555#
- Got a successful entered code message.

Now everytime I use the new sim card I get "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly.
