In the company of our great family and friends, we celebrated Ethan’s 2nd birthday on a nice sunny San Francisco afternoon.

Like last year, we chose a colorful cupcake cake.

Appropriately wearing a shirt that says “2″, Ethan wandered through the crowd, wondering why everyone was standing in his play area.

He later enjoyed his wonderful presents.

Growing up, Ethan’s daddy used to be shy about birthdays so Uncle Roy would fill in for him at parties. We continued the tradition as Addie sang Happy Birthday and blew out the candles.

Mommy and Daddy were very proud.

And when it was all over, Ethan decided to see what this whole eating thing was about. Perhaps this bagel thing is actually yummy.

We celebrated Ethan’s 22nd month birthday in Florida, where we visited with family and friends. During one of our excursions to Liberty Park in Parkland, we took photos of Ethan swinging and playing with water.

21 Months at the Zoo

To celebrate Ethan’s 21 month birthday, we headed with Saba and Safta to the San Francisco Zoo

Ethan loves animals so we went right to the petting zoo.

He was obviously very excited.

20 for the Birds

It’s Ethan’s 20 month birthday and there is no better way to celebrate it then chasing birds around the Palace of Fine Arts. Thanks to some bread (to attract the birds) and thanks to Ethan’s excitement, a crowd gathered to watch him dance and play.
