FUN Easter Alphabet Egg Hunt Actvity

This was such a fun idea I found on Pinterest! Basically its an Egg Hunt but with a learning twist! Since I have two kids I printed out the Capital and Lowercase letters and told them that they had to work as a team. They had a blast!

I bought my plastic easter eggs at Walgreens but they have a good deal on amazon if you have Amazon Prime. I believe that are 144pcs(eggs) for around $10. I just used a sharpie to put the letters on the eggs. I could imagine you can use your silhouette cameo to vinyl these letters on too! I used my printer to print out the game card and laminated them using my favorite laminator the Scotch Thermal Laminator.

...and BAM you have yourself a game and your ready for the hunt!

I really enjoyed watching them get so excited and helping each other when they found a new egg!

Chatty Tuesday #2

The Bachelor!!!!! OMG! That sneak of next week nearly broke my heart in pieces. But before we dig into that lets break down the woman tell all! I mean seriously, I did not get all I need in those two hours to move on, lol! I needed more realness. I do Bachelor like I do anything in life all in or nothing. First Olivia, um... yea I think they went after her. I think her "teen" mom comment was insensitive that the time but totally was unintentional as she mentioned. It was taken out of context and I really think that she was just sitting there thinking she was speaking to a group girlfriends when it happened but America just happened to be there too. At the women tell all she was apologetic and sincere. Jubilee was attacked right out the gate and although she is really well spoken she somehow lacks a major filter and at times make sense and then none at all. LOL! She really is confusing and complicated. Caila, oh she played her cards right to become the next bachlorette, or so she thought because in my opinion she played it too safe. I really wish she would have really said how she really felt and that would have cemented her bachlorette role. Other then that no real issues were brought up and Ben did a tactful job of making sure he did was not on the receiving end of that fire squad as Chris Harrison mentioned. As I watched the sneak peek of The Final Rose, my heart raced and broke into a tiny million pieces for the girl in the bathroom with Ben as he admits he is in love with the other woman as well. OMG moment for sure! From the looks of it I need at least 2 bottles of wine for next Monday. As far as the Bachlorette I really feel that it would be JoJo and she would be an awesome one. Because of the blogs and after shows it really feels like Lauren is the one that lands Bens ring since obviously both landed Ben's heart. Woot Woot for Chatty Tuesday! Trying to get this blog on a schedule.

Alright first topic UP....TEENS...just typing the word makes my heart hide in my stomach. I was a rough teen and by that I mean I just really gave my mom and dad a run for their money. Now compared to teens now a days (I was a teen 12 years ago..lol) I was an average teen. Teens now a days take no NO FEAR SYNDROME to a whole other level. Its hard to be a teen's parent and those darn hormones don't help. I, thank you Jesus do not have teens YET but I have a few teen nephews and nieces that scare me. Trust me if there was a "never never land" I wold be living there now. Stacy would have not objections as she in her own words, "Will never grow up...EVER!"got it! All I pray for those with teens is to have patience and remember what it was like for you and even though your experience as teenager does not compare or you help you understand your own teen that you might open your heart to try to understand them. Its always important to keep the lines of communication open and know that no matter how open they are they will still say on occasion "you just don't understand" and that's okay because you are trying to.

Next Topic! The Bachelor, Ben Higgins! Seriously, he just told those woman, I LOVE YOU, TOO! I loved Jojo's reaction it was so, wait, what? I mean the more I thought about it I was like well maybe it makes sense because at least if you are not chosen you know he was just as invested in you. But, at the same time you might think he love "her" (the chosen one) more. Overall it sucked for Caila! Poor girl she was so excited and bam she had her heart ripped to pieces. When she got out of the are I could have sworn she was understood that I understood that when she said I am falling in love with you he could not say it back and still chose to have the overnight date with her. I am almost positive that is what she was going to say when she said did you know this week? She sure measured her words though. I think the last 3 have it the toughest and the one that goes home that week you assume they assume things did not go well that "night". Poor Caila! Of course being a part of bachelor nation I read the blogs I read anything I can get my hands on and I have seen spoiler alert, Lauren B. get the final rose. Hmm...we shall she but I feel that is how it will go. BTW, was I the only one that notice Lauren B was walking weird at the rose ceremony? The woman tell-all is next week and I can't wait!

Inspire Your Children to workout

My kids are 4 and 6 years old and they are like sponges. Although I wish I would do everything perfect I don't I get some things wrong. Everyday they see Mama working out and Daddy running they know we do this everyday except on rest days. We try to instill in them that a daily workout routine is just as important and lets say a bath. lol. We have been on this workout journey for about 5 years now and they have been there every step of the way. When Ryan showed an interest in boxing I know that him seeing us workout helped him see that working out is okay and that in order to reach your goals you have to work hard for them.

So how do you inspire your children to workout with you without pushing them or making them.

Simple you just do you and they will follow. They only one I tell he has to workout is Ryan because he is conditioning right now for boxing but before that I did not say to word to join me, they just did. Stacy occasionally will just run up and say I wanna workout let me bring more water and a snack. lol! She is my snack buddy! Yesterday she even brought me a cold banana and yogurt!

Once they see you and how you don't give up they will want to join in on that experience. I workout solely at home so they see it everyday. I remember my Dad would always workout and now he is 67 years old and came to visit a couple of weeks ago and he worked out every other day, it was still inspiring. Lead by example.

The Bachelor Week 4

The Bachelor!!!! Ben H! I love MONDAYS! Three hours all to myself! lol Well sort of. My 6 year old and 4 year old watch sometimes lol. Ryan my 6 year old was off to bed when he saw mommy hooked on the TV that no one could move her which is a rare thing. He started watching with me and our conversation went something like this:
Ryan: "OK mommy, so this guy is dating all these woman and he only gets to pick one?"
Me: "Yes"
Ryan: "Oh that's hard!"
Me: "Yes, maybe one day you'll be on the show!"
Ryan: "No, Thanks! lol"
At this point in the show Ben is on a one on one date with Jojo and the other women watch them kiss.
Ryan: "That's bad...I would be mad! lol"
Me: "Its a part of the show."
Ben and Jojo take off on a helicopter and in comes another date card. On this date card it was a group date so, several women's names were on the card.
Ryan: "So all those woman are going on the date??"
Me: "Yes!"
Ryan: "Oh no mommy how are they going to fit all in that helicopter???"
Me: "lol, they are not going on the helicopter!"
Ryan: "oh thank god!"
Then he turns around and falls sound asleep. lol

Yesterday I learned that Becca annoys me and that I am starting to get attached to some of the ladies.

Looking forward for week 5 next Monday!

Better Mommy Body

It is a know fact that you do not have the same body after your children, even if you lose the "baby weight" and you didn't get any stretch marks or your body shows no poof that baby was ever in you, having a child in your uterus forever changes your body weather it be inside or out.

I personally have struggled with losing the baby weight and toning my tummy. It just is never the same as before I had my children and even though I am right now physically stronger then ever before my tummy is still a "mommy tummy".

One thing I have learned so far is that you are where you deserve to be. You have to work hard for everything you have accomplished in life. Goals are meant to give you an idea of what you want to achieve but you should always reach for more then your goal.

One of the most important things you should have when you are prepping yourself for any goal is your WHY, your WHY is what will keep you motivated and on track long after that feeling of you can goes away. Your WHY should be the nitty gritty, the very essence of your core. It should scare you straight because it should make you want to be better, it should make you loose sleep, it should push you when you can't push yourself. It should be your motivation EVERY SINGLE DAY!

The only way to be successful in anything is to read your WHY everyday.

Success starts with yourself...why because you can't lie to yourself! Because you know if you have done everything in your power to surpass your goals. You have to make it happen! You have to step up and tell yourself that I can't is NOT an option. You have to HUSTLE. You have to have HEART!

I wake up everyday and think I have to workout out today....and yes there are days I wake up and say, "not today!" but then I tell myself you can not complain about your belly because you do not deserve you because you have not done the work.

INSTAGRAM, oh INSTAGRAM keeps me motivated. I follow fitness people! So when I can feeling unmotivated pop on there and you will be motivated in a second. One of my favorite people to follow is Noel Benepe. She is amazing and she offers a $10 monthly workout every month! They are killer but they are so worth it. Right now I am on week 2 of her January workout schedule.

You have to start somewhere, but you have to START! If you would love an accountability partner please let me know! I am looking to form a motivation group!

So here is to a better MOMMY BODY and a better attitude too!

As a wife and a mom sometimes you lose yourself in those titles. Being the best mom you can be. Being the best wife you can be. Its so EASY to lose yourself. When I got married I became Juan Carlos wife. When I had Ryan and Stacy I became Ryan and Stacy's mom. You lose your identity as an individual. Did I mind that? Absolutely not. I love being a wife and being a mom it brings so much joy to my life and being a mom is just everything I ever dreamed of.

2016 hmmm... I have been dreading you! Stacy officially starts school and I am from 8-3 going to be just Daisy! Scary! For the past years I have focused solely on my family. I sort of lost myself, who is Daisy? This year I have to get to know me and I would love to take you on that journey.

The adult Daisy is so much different then the teen Daisy and the "20 something" Daisy. She knows what she wants and she knows that hard work is the only way to get it. She is stronger then she has ever been. She wants to achieve things she knows are not easy but loves a challenge. She is determined. She still jumps blindly into things but only with things she believes in her heart are worth the risk. She has values and knows she is worth it and but it I mean in every aspect. That's what I know so far.

So here we go!

Oh Ryan, but of course! He is growing too fast! This is Ryan's second valentine's day at school so we decided to do something different for his card this year and make something more personalized for his school pals.

We had fun during this shoot and look at those eyes how could you say no to him!

Tomorrow we will be shooting Stacy and his valentine's for mommy, there will be a kissing booth and a cool white chair we bought for this occasion. I can't wait to show you all those pics as well.

Stacy is FOUR years old

Part of me still can't believe that my baby girl is FOUR! It seems like just yesterday I have this tiny baby girl in my arms, blue eyed and bald. It has been amazing watching her grow into a sassy toddler. She is fierce and determined! I see so much of me in her. Although she is very independent you will always find her by my side. When I fall asleep or I am not feeling well she will be the first to find a blanket to cover me and kiss me on my forehead with a whispered I love you.

Every morning I go to drop off Ryan at school and it takes me about 30 mins but, the moment I get home she rushes to the door and squeals, "I missed you!"

This will be our final year together and we plan to take advantage of every moment.

Every year for her birthday we plan a big photoshoot and this year our theme was pink and gold princess. Of course mommy is the photographer for every shoot.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl...May all your wishes and BIG Dreams come true! <3

Well hello world...again! It has certainly been a while. So much has gone on in my life since I last shared here. I have lived and I am learned, even lessons I did not want to learn. The kids are growing so fast. Ryan is already in Kindergarten and Stacy will be 4 in one week. Life is full of surprises but I am so happy to be here, to be alive and just LIVE, live in the moment. Have you ever heard of vinyl wall art decals? This kind of wall decoration is really popular nowadays.
Recently, I have redecorated my house. Can you guess what types of material I choose to decorate with? A wall sticker. I love it and I am so excited about it. I found it on the internet. Now....I have to buy more for my other rooms! I affixed a green tree with falling leaves wall sticker in my living-room. It really brings a relaxing feel and ease to the room. The falling leave bring back some sweet memories about love, childhood, and youth. Makes my heart smile. I also applied a quote wall sticker in my craft room. When I feel done and don’t want to continue my work, I will look at Tips to pick family tree wall decals and read it word by word its kind of power push for me....it's awesome. I love quotes so this is perfect for me! In my kids room, I applied a twinkle star wall sticker. It is just like in the fairy tale for Stacy. I need to get some boy themed ones too for Ryan.The make the best vinyl wall decals for children's themed rooms. So far I am loving it and I can't wait to get more because there are so many to choose from....I think I need to do my laundry room next. I think the awesome part of these wall decals is that when you are ready for a change you just peel off and change your room again. If you don't know how you would use it in your house this is a great idea to Rejuvenate the interior using kids' wall stickers.

A C-Section will NOT Define me!

I sit here full of emotion. Why? Because many of my friends are having babies....this is a joyous time right??? Not so, I feel an emptiness within....I ignore it most of the time because I know my "time" to carry a child is gone. I linger to have a natural birth the kind that will a fill the void I carry in my womb. I have been thinking a whole lot about this lately and how I couldn't do it and how my body had failed me. The thought of a C-Section never even crossed my mine 4 years ago...I mean I would just have a baby like my mom and sister did right? Nope. Not even close. I failed.....its the first thing in my life I would FAIL at and never get to redeem. I was so close and just so far. I never knew that having a C-Section would impact my life the way it has. My whole life all I wanted was to be a mom.....and now I was....why was it not good enough??? I don't even know the answer to that question....am I less of a mom because of it??? No. It's the pressure of being the Only one! That my body did not do its job. Maybe it's the would've, could've, should've that I won't get back. I never thought of myself as broken or less of a woman because of it. I know what labor is and how it feels and just missed the last step. I don't want to live the rest of my life obsessing over the fact that it didn't happen for me. I just have to let it go.....but its hard. I have to let it go and know that God knows why and he has a reason and GOOD ONE! I have to find the courage to LET GO and find peace. I will fail at other things in life.....I guess this is one of those times of moments of impact.....I just have to pick myself up and dust myself off and carry and just accept it for what it is. I am A MOTHER and it shouldn't and won't matter how my children arrived. My body is amazing after all it carried these children from egg to being....that is a miracle in itself. I need to let the wound heal instead of putting a bandaid over it and at this I will SUCCEED!

Losing Weight is HARD

Ahhh! Yes that is a scream! Why? Because losing weight is HARD! I started this journey sometime in MARCH I vaguely remember the date because I said what I usually said then, "I will start working out tomorrow." But something was different that time because I actually did it! I started INSANITY....I know, I know....Whoa! But it was all or nothing for me. You know I even got to a point where I looked at myself in the mirror and thought, "This is what a mom looks like don't be so hard on yourself". WRONG!!

I made a commitment and I have stuck to it for the past two months and a half. With the combination of Insanity and Running I have lost 16 pounds!!!! I still have 14 more to go but I am half way there and closer then I was 2 months ago. I am losing an average of 2 pound a week and GUESS WHAT??? NO DIET! Yep that that is right no starving myself. I eat our normal foods but in moderation. The KEY is making sure to get your cardio in and get your metabolism running. I am working out 6 days a week <<< I know it sounds crazy but it is so worth it!

Well I hope I can keep it up and reach my goals every POUND I lose is HARD but in the end worth it!

Yesterday I was outside with my camera and along came my happy and spunky 2 year old Ryan! He was all excited about getting to play outside when all of a sudden mommy said, "smile for the camera" and this what he did! I swear he is NOT a fan of the mamarazzi he has! LOL!

This was also right before he left for his haircut too! Toddlers are so emotional and show it well too! :)

{1:12} MCP photo Project 2012

I decided that in order to become a better photographer I needed to embark on a journey with myself and look through the lens with my eyes wide open...and thus this is the prefect project.

Our first task is the word Resolution!

Every year at the beginning of the year most people make a resolution. Some make some impossible ones and others make simple ones.

This year I made the resolution to do more activities with my kids....especially RYAN! He is like a sponge and I would be a fool not to take advantage of his new found creativity and imagination.

My Mommy Body

I am so upset at my mommy body right now! Let me give you it's back story! LOL!

I use to play volleyball and dance in college and I was extremely active and fit. Somewhere along the way I fell in love and got married. When I had my first child I did not plan on loosing any weight because I always knew I would have another one, so why bother right? After I had my second child just a little short of a year ago....I thought the weight will magically disappear and I could no longer use my excuse of I am having another soon. Well the weight was here to stay and I am miserable....I am not the person I want to be physically.

DO I want to be stick thin....NOPE! That's why diets don't work for me. What I want I have to work for 100%. I am just stuck in a RUT. I actually don't even want to be a size 5 or 3, I would be content at a size 8 or 10, instead of the 12-13 I am. It's scary to me to even say numbers.

Today I decided to work out, so I did. Half way through the work out I wanted to stop. I went through it all and then I had a good cry not about the workout, but about my body. I am so disappointed in it and myself. I use to be able to push myself harder. It use to not JIGGLE! It use to be me!

I always try to love myself as I am but I can't because I know I want and expect of myself and I am ready to take the reins back to my body.

Potty Training....ughhh!

I am so upset that for the first time in my life as a parent I feel like a failure. I am at the point of tears. I try every day to potty training Ryan and we FAIL every time!! It's funny how this one works because he has to do it all on his own and I can't baby him at all...we are learning to grow up together and it's HARD!

I feel like a am doing it all wrong. It would be easy to just give up and try later but then what if the same thing happens. I will be researching this all day and see what can I do to motivate him.
