That is to say that domain names need to be unique and most common words and phrases have already been registered. If you already have a domain name registered that is related to your industry or perhaps is already named after your company or business then the following information will be most useful when starting up your next online business or website.

One of the best resources that I have found for domain names and domain name research is www.domainsbot.com. This is an invaluable tool that will help you pick out a domain name that is available and is related to your niche.

A few simple rules to follow when picking out a domain name:

  1. The shorter the better.
  2. The easier to spell, the better.
  3. The more memorable, the better.
  4. If the domain name can be branded (Unique to your company), the better.
  5. .com’s are most popular but most times a .net or .biz will be sufficient.
  6. Avoid letter and number mixups. For example: 4, four, for, and 2, two, to, too

Mozilla Firefox -Firefox is one of the best all around web browsers out there. It is very easily customizable with many third-party addons that extends the functionality of your web surfing experiences. Available for both Windows and Mac.

Flock – Although it runs on Mozilla’s browsing technology, it is a browser all its own. Many might say that it is a Firefox clone but Flock certainly has more social appeal because this social media browser integrates with a lot of social media websites such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and is very blog-friendly. Available for both Windows and Mac.

Apple has just released their 4th version of this web browser that reinvents the way that people surf the internet.  If you’re a Mac user then most likely, you are already familiar with this browser.  But this browser is also available for Windows users as well. Safari is the lightest and fastest web browser. Version 4 uses similar technology already found on a Mac and other Apple Software such as the Finder sidebar and Coverflow, both made famous by Apple’s popular iTunes.
