Anything can happen in a split second and that is why you always have to be prepared in life no matter what. There are no excuses or anything of that nature once an unexpected thing happen.

What you always have to remember are the hidden reasons behind any unexpected happenings. However bitter the truth or event is, there is always a reason behind it. Unexpected situations are, at times, blessings in disguise that seldom people cannot see. Just remember as well that life is full of surprises. Most people love but good surprises and opposite to that are just considered pains and problems.

Jealousy Over the PC

You heard it right! There is definitely a jealousy existing at home. This is not a feeling of my hubby, absolutely not his as he has full trust and confidence over me. It is my little ones’ own.

My baby boy has this feeling as early as two. I just discovered this lately. It wasn’t that obvious before as I was still working in the office and barely has time with my laptop at home. Yet, now that I am a full-time mom, I guess it is quite visible. Everytime I am working with my PC, he does everything to take me away from there. If I don’t get it, he screams and just wants to sit on my lap while I am in front of the computer. Everytime he sees me trying to switch it on, he starts his request for milk, for this and that until I will totally forget about computer. Then, he becomes so happy with all his jumps and dances and all. He brings all his toys in front of the PC if I still don’t get it. There is obviously jealousy here.

He does not mind me doing household work but absolutely not with the PC. This I am trying to dig deeper as to the main reason why.

At times when I am busy, I am not able to attend to my mails. I am happy I have a mailbox that keeps all the mails and bills for me especially when I am away. However, I guess it is time for me to go for a safer mailbox that cannot be easily destroyed or opened by another person.

I guess I am bit hesitant now with just a mailbox that stands in the corner of the gate. I am thinking of going but for a wall mount mailbox which I feel safer and more secure. I tell you guys, my son is much more curious with cooking pots! He just loves to play with them especially when I am also cooking. Well, kids are by nature a copycat. They want to do exactly what you are doing.

So, everytime mommy is busy in the kitchen he is too! I make sure he has his own pots ready and his own ladle. Mind you, he does not accept toys of the same likeness. He knows the difference between what is real and what is not. So, I guess the spare pots in the house are for him. I guess right now, they all still look shining and good but I am afraid soon they will perish.

He is not only playing pretending to cook on it, he twists it round and round and at times makes it his drum and music set. He just loves the cooking pots. I guess, this is what I have to face for now while I will be working in the kitchen. At least, it sharpens his imagination rather than the television that will just keep him immobile in front of the TV set.

Splashing Time

My son loves the swimming pool side in our place. Early in the morning he always asks me to take a walk outside around the pool area. He just loves it there but he is afraid to dive and swim into the water. Well, I suppose he will since I never had any swimming class for him yet at two. I do not even know how to swim (shame on my part).

Just this morning, we were there around the pool area of our condo. It was peaceful, quiet and indeed breezy. The sunshine wasn’t too hot anymore. It was superb. I guess he was tempted with the attraction of the still water. He asked me to just sit around the pool, just the tip of it where we can just dip our feet and splash some water without going for a swim. We had a laugh, just the two of us. He loved it and I guess we will be coming back the next day and for sure I will be bringing the camera already to take more snapshots of the splashing pool.

I remember when I first found out that I was pregnant with my first child. My husband and I were very happy, but at the same time we were super nervous. How were we supposed to bring a child into this world? I needed as much help as possible to know what I should expect and to prepare me for my first child. There are so many things to behold inside a house called ‘home’. Each of us is entitled to the way we view and see our own home either physically or spiritually. I love my own home although it is just very simple and a bit small. It is not all about the luxurious things inside but the way my family feels at home when they are in.

Though I am a busy woman, I always find time to give a touch to the settings of my home on weekly basis. This is to be consistent on how my family appreciates the wonders inside our own home. I do not have that much budget but I have the time during weekend for general cleaning and rearranging. I also try to rearrange things from time to time in order for the place to look new. There are stuffs around that are certainly unchanging such as those old curtains and blinds. I am thinking of getting but those ready made blinds for the next weekend to come in order to give a little refreshing view around.

The things inside my home are the wonders that my family beholds and that is why I am always in touch with my articulate senses when it comes to my own home. If it matters to my family, it matters to me.

Today, I got up with a new thought of getting a new bed, new wardrobe cabinet which could really set most of my extra stuff around the room. Well, I thought of having this cute one as I thoroughly surf the web for what I want. I guess I am fed up with the old bedroom setting and I just thought getting a new bedroom design would be so comforting and at the same time refreshing. Let me share what I searched online for my new bedroom thought.
