Happy is the name of the first single to be released from Leona’s sophomore album ‘ECHO’.

The brand new track will be available to download from 8th November and the CD available on 9th November, a week before album release.
I’ll have more updates about Leona Lewis as well as pictures to add in the coming days.  I’m really sorry that updates have been few lately – there simply hasn’t been much to add!  I’m certain that all of that’s about to change.

A few of Leona’s new songs were leaked online over the weekend: Perfect Stranger and Brave. Perfect Stranger is a single produced by Ryan Tedder. Reportedly, Ryan brings his delicious One Republic sound to the bridge.

Yes, as a Leona fan, I’ve searched high and low for audio clips. I know it’s wrong for them to be leaked and all that – but I’m dying to hear them!

Leona is rumored to be in the studio with the likes of Jay-Z, Timbaland, Ryan Tedder of the OneRepublic and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas. Around 20 new songs have been crafted for her much-anticipated second album. “I’m really, really positive about it. This far in, I’m feeling it even more (than last time),” she said.

When Leona Lewis recently discussed her new album, she revealed that Justin Timberlake will be featured on several new songs. He’ll also make contributions to its production. “He’s so awesomely talented. He’s been producing and he’s got vocals on some my tracks too,” she told Digital Spy.

During the interview, Leona Lewis also stated that the recording sessions for the new record is “more than halfway” done. They’ve done about 20 new songs so far.

Leona added, “I’m really, really positive about it. This far in, I’m feeling it even more (than last time, with Spirit).”

Justin Timberlake and Leona Lewis are rumored to be joining forces for a cover version of Whitney Houston’s 1974 song “I Will Always Love You”, which was written by one of the most talented and prolific song writers ever, Dolly Parton.

Leona Lewis suggests that Susan Boyle find a “good support network” if she wants a successful career in the music industry.

Leona, who is currently recording the follow-up to her debut album Spirit, described Boyle’s Britain’s Got Talent audition as “awesome”.

“It’s good to have a good support network around you and I think that’s the main thing – to have people that you can speak to,” she told PA.

“I have seen her singing and she sounds awesome so I mean she’s really talented and that’s all that should speak for herself really.”

Things have been a little dicey for beautiful Leona Lewis lately. First of all, she’s had to deal with the problems of a stalker near her Hollywood home. Then she had to reject an offer to appear at the White House with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. It was an invitation she apparently wanted very much to accept.

Now, reports indicate that she and her longtime boyfriend Al-Chamma are taking a “time-out.”

“They are still in love, but Leona’s lifestyle is making things really hard,” a source revealed to British media.

“Her career is doing so well, but to keep growing as a singer, she has to work even harder. Unfortunately, this leaves her very little time to work on her relationship. It could already be over.”

Leona Lewis has reportedly turned down an invitation by President Barack Obama to the White House. “Leona was thrilled to be invited to dinner by Obama. She really wanted to meet him and his wife Michelle – who is a big fan and has her Spirit album. They both think she is a strong, inspirational and talented young woman who is a fantastic role model for children,” a source told The Mirror.

“They would love her to get involved in some of their charity projects. But it was really unfortunate that it clashed with her tight schedule to get her second album done,” the source said. “Leona would have felt it a real honor to sing for him too. So if Barack ever asks again, she’ll jump at the chance.”
