Love is the most popular topic in the world of music. There're thounds of songs about it. Here I am going to pick my favorite songs about Love. I hope you like them.

My first pick is "Feels Like Heaven" (1987) by Fiction Factory, a Scottish band from Perth. They were together for only three years (1984-1987). But they had time to create this good song.

Two of the members made this video for the fans 25 years later. It is crazy how much people can change.

First of all I want to apologise for not posting for a while. I have been so busy that I haven't had any time to listen to new music or post anything interesting. My first entry of 2013 is about David Bowie and Nagisa Oshima. I really thought Bowie was retired and that he was never going to make more music. I'm glad I was wrong. His new song made me cry the first time I heard it.
And Nagisa Oshima who died this week, director of two of the movies that will always be in my mind, "In The Realm of the Senses" and "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence", rest in peace.

This movie brings lots of memories to my mind (see). And its main theme, Forbidden Colours, by Ryuichi Sakamoto is a classic.

Part of the cast: David Bowie, Beat Takeshi (Takeshi Kitano), Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tom Conti.

The taboo of homosexuality, especially harsh in an otherwise ultranationalist and traditional environment, is suggested throughout the film.

Almost a year ago, I wrote a long post dedicated to one of favourite singers ever, Bryan Ferry who, along with his son, was H&M's image last year (see here).
Lana became popular not long ago, but she is now a star and she sings "Blue Velvet" for H&M's campaign this year.

It's a good opportunity to enjoy some of the best versions of "Blue Velvet", starting from the newest one to Tony Bennett's original.
