Selynna finally got to 80 last week !!! 

I’m now trying to find some upgrade to her gear … and looking to make a tank out of her. I will need to do some reading, because I never “tanked” an instance. Let’s hope and pray. 

I’ve done every achievement needed for the title “Brewmaster” for my 2 mains and got the wolpertinger for some alts too. I was lucky to already own the Swift Brewfest Ram with Sellia because I didn’t see it drop a lot (meaning 1 time in 2 weeks    ).

With 2 days left, I don’t think I’ll get the mount for Selynna, so I bought some Fresh Brewfest Hops “et voilà !” Another “Brewmaster” is born. 

Still no spirit beast for Sellia, but as a consolation prize I got her the “Crusader” title. I now have access to HEIRLOOMS !!! A gift from the gods for an alt-a-holic like me.    Already got the Tattered Dreadmist Mantle and the Tattered Dreadmist Robe. In a few days I’ll get the Polished Spaulders of Valor for my new little warrior. 

Also in the next few days, I’ll try to update my reading list on the side to better reflect what I read actually. If I find the time, I may also make another post with some good links I found.    For now I’m out. Cya later everyone !

So, what did I do in that long month of absence ? Well, I was in vacation 2 full weeks of that time. Sweet vacation … It was nice get some rest for work and WoW. 

Ok, now I’m back. What do I have to report you say ? Well, a few achievements for a start. My last post was about my mage getting to 80. Now she’s also a World Explorer :

It was slow going since I don’t have my fast flying mount with her. (And I don’ think I’ll get it soon either. *sigh* ) And while doing the Tournament quests, she reached Exalted with every race on the Alliance side. 

I was also working to get the new Horde mount you can get from Un’Goro Crater ! It’s simple enough to obtain, but it take 20 days to obtain because it’s working with some daily quests. I’ll try to give some tips for the high level players :

1. The quest giver is next to the entrance from Tanaris, quite easy to find. Use the low level quest tracker to help.
2. For the quest Toxic Tolerance, I was using my skinning knife and I also unequipped my gun. When the Venomhide Ravasaur was starting to get low on HP I was using Feign Death. (For the non-hunter out there, you’ll need to run.) It was easier to use the same Ravasaur than to find another one in my opinion. I didn’t find many of those and they don’t use their poison often, you could end needing a lot more than 20. So I think it’s faster to keep using the same one and to reset his health with Feign Death (or by running away).
3. For the daily part, don’t forget that you can use a portal from Dalaran to Tanaris.  >_<
4. You’ll also need 20 Runecloth, 20 Rugged Leather and 80 gold to complete the quest.

While playing lately, I’ve been looking for a goal to reach. So, for maybe 2 weeks, I did the dailies at the Argent Tournament. I’m now champion for Silvermoon and Undercity. While doing that, I was also trying to get enough gold to buy my Artisan Riding skill.

Done ! But I grew bored of doing those quests. So I’m now playing with my girlfriend on our Alliance server. My mage was level 70 for some time now and she finally reached that milestone herself with her huntress. We’re now helping each other level to 80 with those toons.

WoW is all about having goals.

I’m sure some people were thinking I was gone too since I didn’t post any update in a month around here. The fact is that I don’t know what to say. I’m too casual in my playing to post about that. I hope I’ll find something more interesting to write than mention my recent achievement.

Since so many bloggers leave the scene I’ll need to update my reading list a bit. 

Also, if something is wacky around here it’s because I’ve updated to Wordpress 2.8 and it’s not playing nice with some of my plugins. Working part time on that. 

To conclude this rambling, I was sad to learn that Faeldray blog Petoholics Anonymous was hacked recently. I hope everything will go well with reconstruction effort.

Also, while helping my girlfriend, I took the time to raise my reputation with all the Horde faction on Sellia. It would seem that so good at solving their troubles that they promoted me Ambassador !

I’m in the mood to play my little huntress it would seem. 

All I need now is 15 mounts and I’ll get my hand on the Reins of the Albino Drake. 

I’m currently feeling really lost. The world is moving too fast for me these days. I’m losing ground iIn every aspect of my life. A lot of stuffs went downhill after my separation. Even if I know it’s not all true, I still feel that way. The only thing that keep me going is my new girlfriend. My life feel so unfinished (like my divorce) and unsure (like my job) …

*sigh*

Rambling again. I’m sorry for those still reading this little blog. I didn’t do a great job lately. It’s supposed to be about WoW but I didn’t play all that much. Even when I get some free time I only stare at the screen. I still love this game a lot.

When I find some time to read my feed reader, I get the feeling almost everyone is quitting. And since I’m a slow reader I don’t get a chance a saying good bye in time. It’s a sad time for the WoW bloggers. 

Well, it’s life. I won’t promise a lot of post, but this blog is not over yet !
