Iranian Regime's Video Says, Their Islamic Messiah (The Mahdi) Is About To Appear.

Today, I wanted to share with you some of the latest developments in the Middle East along with a link to a video, which I believe every Christian and Jewish person needs to see. The propaganda soon to be released by the Iranian regime, depicts the current revolutions and chaos taking place in the Middle East and Northern Africa as positive evidence that, their messiah, (the Mahdi) who will be their Twelfth Imam, is right on the verge of appearing on the world scene.

This is the one, who supposedly would lead Islam and it's armies in the end-time to defeat Israel, America, and other non-Muslim countries, and to bring peace (with the sword), to the rest of the world under the domination of Islam.

Note: The radical fundamentalist Islamic idea of peace is to conquer and annihilate the Jews, Christians, and all other non-Muslims who will not submit to Islam.

Recently, Erick Stakelbeck, a reporter for CBN, released an article and included video footage, of the Iranian regime's video production on the Middle East and North African revolutions, which claims those chaotic events go right along with certain Islamic Prophecies, and will accelerate the soon return of their Messiah, the Mahdi. The name of the Iranian regime's video is entitled, The Coming is Near. They also believe that Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadenijad, will overtake Jerusalem before their Mahdi appears on the scene. Although this is obviously a propaganda video to be distributed to all Middle-East Arab countries by the Iranian regime, it strongly indicates that they are currently in a planning-to-strike war mode with the intent of conquering Jerusalem, and to hasten their (Twelfth Imam) Mahdi's soon appearance.

However, the God of Israel is watching over the affairs of His Chosen people and His Promised land, allowing only that which will bring forth the fulfillment of Prophecy for the End times. Israel will likely hit Iran first as a preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, with her superior defense technology, which is some of the most advanced in the world today.

THE THREE WARS: PSALMS 83 WAR, GOG AND MAGOG INVASION

AND THE FINAL BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON

In end time Bible prophecy, there seems to be a clear indication that the countries surrounding Israel will be dealt with first. with the use of weapons of mass destruction. These nations include those common-border arab countries surrounding Israel, which is also close to the same prophetic time-table when Damascus, Syria will be destroyed along with those other surrounding parts of arab countries, that will be left uninhabited. Not long after this, Israel will have expanded, secured her borders, and will live in relative peace and security for a season, before the the actual invasion of Gog and Magog occurs.

Therefore, this is clear enough evidence, that Iran will not succeed in destroying Israel as they claimed they would do recently. They may threaten and make attempts, but their ultimate plans for the annihilation of Israel will somehow backfire, due to the timely protection of the God of Israel.

When The Gog and Magog Invasion finally does take place, there shall be horrific events that will take place in Israel, such as a devastating earthquake, including fire and brimstone falling from the skies upon these enemies of Israel, [Gog and Magog, Persia (Iran), with the other muslim-allied countries.]

They shall be defeated and destroyed on the mountains of Israel and on the open field according to Ezekiel 39. And note, that this War is not the final Battle of Armageddon, but appears to take place some time before the abomination of desolation and Armageddon according to the order of end time events. Notice what happens here in Ezekiel 39:1-6 (read the entire chapter)

“Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. 2 I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel.

3 Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand. 4 On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals.

5 You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD. 6 I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the LORD. - niv

Review: Sequence of the Three Main Wars:

1. First, Psalms 83 War: See Psalms 83: Israel will defeat those arab countries on it's common-borders.

2. Gog and Magog Invasion: Read Ezekiel Chapters 38 -39 - Sets the stage for the horrific coming events of the Great tribulation -- with Russia, Iran [Persia], Libya, Ethiopia along with other muslim allied armies defeated on the mountains and on the open fields of Israel. This is not Armageddon at the end of the Great Tribulation. It will take seven months+ to bury the bodies, and seven years to burn the weapons from this war, to be used as fuel.

Note: There will also be other resistant battles between the Gog and Magog War, and those leading up to Armageddon found in the scriptures. Some have tried to prove that the Gog-Magog invasion and the Battle Armageddon, are one in the same. but it is just not true. All that one would need to do is to have a look at the nations involved and the geographical locations for each battle to know that there is a distinct difference.

According to some Bible prophecy scholars, Armageddon will come through a series of stages [a progression] leading up to the final Battle of Armageddon. 3. The Final Battle - Armageddon - on the plain of Megiddo - other names [the Plain of Esdraelon, Valley of Jezreel] Rev. 16:16 - The gathering of all the armies of the nations near the close of the Great Tribulation, followed by the return and appearing of Jesus Christ with the armies of Heaven, where He destroys all of these world armies. Many millions will die in this final battle.

Then, Rev 19:20 tells us, the Antichrist and the False Prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Rev. 20:1-3, the devil will be thrown into the bottomless pit.

...and then, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings will set up His Millennial Kingdom to rule and reign for a thousand years upon the earth.

THE DEAD FISH PHENOMENON, JAPAN EARTHQUAKE, AND PROPHECY UPDATE

I remembered back a few days before the Japan Earthquake took place, another strange event happened, where millions of fish were found dead that washed into the King Harbor Marina of Redondo Beach coast, in Los Angeles County, California. They were reported to be sardines and anchovies.

Some believed that it could have been either strong winds, or suffocation from lack of oxygen causing the fish to die. And still others had no idea, as to how they got there. There were so many of these fish, that it made it very difficult for the boats to get out, and back into the harbor.

It was only a few days after the dead fish phenomenon, that the devastating Japan Earthquake and Tsunami took place which lead me to wonder, if the fish were somehow disturbed, or driven by some type of underwater volcanic or seismic activity, since California is also on the Pacific Ring of Fire. Seems more likely to fit the scenario of what may have very well caused this.

Yesterday, I received yet, several other urgent prayer alerts from some of our friends in other ministries, asking us to pray and to intercede for the west coast of America. [especially for California and the Northwest coast.] And then, there are others, who have also been concerned about the New Madrid fault line.

It has been reported, that about every 18 months the fault releases a shock of 4.0 or more, which can cause local damage. 5.0 or greater happens about once every 10 years, which can do increased damage, and can be felt in surrounding states.

Late last night, I found a new Prophecy Update written by Perry Stone, which had additional interesting insight, that I would like to share with you here today. I really liked what Perry had to say in his update, and especially what He had to say about David Wilkerson being a true prophet, and about his prophecies from the 1970s still unfolding over the years.

Then, he went on to address self-acclaimed prophets and seers who usually only have about a 50% accuracy rate, which is ridiculously low. Personally, I would not receive a prophetic word from someone unless they had a high and proven track record of prophetic accuracy.

It seems that almost every time there is a disaster, volcanic eruption, earthquake, or hurricane, there are 50-100 different people claiming to be prophets, come out of the woodwork to give their take [usually with conflicting words] on how they prophesied it before it happened [and on how accurate they were], but unfortunately did not make it clear to the public 'until after' the event took place.

Many of those prophecies have proven to be either untrue or to have a very low level of accuracy. The very same thing happened with the Hurricane Katrina Words in August of 2005, that were all over the internet. Only a very few had any high level of accuracy.

But, my stance is this: If it was really God who said it would happen a certain way, then He will do it. And, if He does genuinely tell them something, then He should be the only one receiving the credit, honor, and glory for it anyway.

In our day, there seems to be an excessive amount of pride, showmanship, and selfish ambition in much of today's prophetic movement. What I have found is that the true prophets, are not hitting and missing it most of the time, like what we see today in many of the more popular prophetic ministries of today.

From what I have seen and read over the past decade and have also documented -- There are very few prophecies from some of the more popular ministries that ever do come to actual fulfillment. And from that evidence, I believe that I can safely say, that there are a lot of people in prophetic ministry out there, who are probably not really hearing anything significant from God. Now, don't get me wrong, because there are some out there ... but what I am saying here, is that they are few and far between.

On the other hand, many are usually prophesying peace, prosperity, wealth transference and money, money, money, or either prophetically flattering their favorite friends on-stage, which is a sure sign that something is terribly wrong in a large portion of the prophetic movement.

The problem is, that a lot of people who are in it, just can't see it, and follow some of these ministries blindly into the ditch, which is a very dangerous place to be spiritually, indicating strong signs of delusion. But, there are some, who are truly hungry and seeking after the heart of God, who are beginning to see this though, and it doesn't make them more popular when they do! Yet, they are only a remnant of God's people.

If you have any of David Wilkerson's books, I would strongly suggest that you go back and read some of them, as his prophecies from the 70s continue to unfold. You can also find some of his writings and prophecies online. Just Google it! Note, that Wilkersons writings are not well-received by many of today's Emergent and Post-modern ministries, as they are for the most part, not considered relevant in today's more seeker-friendly environments.

The Strange Signs of the Dead Fish

Several days ago, while watching Fox News, I saw an odd sight being reported from California. There were millions of small dead fish that had washed ashore in a marina just south of Los Angeles on March 7th. Experts said the fish may have died from a lack of oxygen due to algae, as there appeared to be no toxins in the water to cause the large number of deaths.

Prior to the earthquake in Japan, a fish called the oarfish, which has a long body and almost resembles a snake, suddenly began to wash ashore in Japan. Fisherman in Japan also began to catch it in their fishing nets. According to traditional Japanese lore, the fish rise to the surface and beach themselves to warn of an impending earthquake.

There are also scientific theories that bottom-dwelling fish may be susceptible to magnetic movements in seismic fault lines, and act in uncharacteristic ways in advance of an earthquake. In ancient times Japanese people believed that fish, particularly catfish, warned of coming earthquakes.

The old timers in America had many legends and traditions, and could monitor the activity of animals and nature to predict famines, long cold winters, or droughts in the summer. When the mountain men saw the squirrels finding their food early and over long periods of time, they knew the winter world be long and harsh.

They also noted that dogs will howl or bark moments before an earthquake, and animals will move away from water prior to a tsunami, as the elephants did in Sri Lanka prior to the tsunami.

One man (I didn’t get his name) on a major news channel has been tracking the strange events in nature over the years – such as dead fish appearing on the water. He said that he believes this has been an indicator of a major plate in the ocean or a fault line getting ready to give way. Many would mock his theory, but I believe God has set warnings in nature to let us know prior to the occurrence of tragic events.

Recently there has been a major quake in Chili, New Zealand, and now Japan. These regions are part of the famous “ring of fire” along the Pacific Rim, where the majority of the world’s volcanoes exist. If the pattern continues, the next major quake could happen in the United States, perhaps the West Coast or the area of the New Madrid fault line. I believe it is time to pray!

I was sharing with the people at the prophetic summit that, in the book he wrote in the 1970s, David Wilkerson saw a vision of a major quake coming to America. He wrote that he felt it would follow an earthquake in Japan. I have always believed that David Wilkerson is a true prophet from the Lord. He saw events in the 1970s that have continually happened and are still occurring – including conflict with the labor unions.

I do not pay attention to self-acclaimed prophets who give out words and miss their predictions half the time. My dad always said, “The REAL Holy Ghost never misses it, and if God didn’t say it, keep your mouth shut!”

However, I will pay attention to those who fast, pray and live right, but not those self-anointed seers who spend their free time getting drunk and then claiming they heard from God, when things they speak seldom happen. Even a psychic can hit it 50% of the time, and any man who misses it 50% of the time is no more anointed that a secular psychic.

Wilkerson is a true prophet of God. Pay attention and prepare. Most of all, pray about what is currently happening and what is on the horizon for America and the rest of the world. Despite the many negative events, I am not afraid because I know how the story ends! - Perry Stone

Tonight, I sensed from the Lord, the need to share with you the following important teaching by Derek Prince, that was published about 15 years ago, but is still, just as relevant for God's people today. Especially, during this most crucial time, where there has been such an increase of supernatural activity, and world-wide promotions of Sign and Wonders.

Some of this phenomena is of God's Spirit, while some is not, and in the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements, we all need to understand the difference of what truly is from God, and what may be from end time seducing, and deceptive spirits, so that we may guard our hearts from any potential delusion, or deception. From what I have observed and discerned personally, there is a mixture of both happening simultaneously in some of today's movements.

The title of this topic is Protection From Deception: On navigating through the Minefield of Signs and Wonders. So, basically, this is an in-depth teaching on how to discern manifestations of the Holy Spirit from other counterfeit occurences that are passed off as being genuine.

Dear Joshua Family Subscribers:

This has been one of the most distressing and heartbreaking past few days of my life, as I have had a heart for Souls--for Asia since the 1980's. I spent a total of seven years of my life on Asian soil living, teaching, and winning Chinese, and other Asians to Christ as a part of my calling to Missionary Evangelism.

I had also, taken a number of trips to Japan and had visited some of the cities and the people there, quite a few times over the years, therefore, Asia is very close to my heart.

It was very difficult for me to even put this letter, and other info together today, due to a heavy and troubled heart for Japan. We also experienced a temporary power failure from the local power company here today, and I lost about 3 hours worth of work that I had typed up on the computer.

My Word document was not finished, so all of it was lost when the power went off, and I had to start from scratch all over again. So, today was not one of my better days, but I am happier and relieved now, to be able to pull it all back together, and to get these writings out to you, amongst other things that need to be posted.

If you can remember, I sent an article out to you last year on the Ring of Fire. Well, it is already getting a lot worse than what we perceived, or thought. Usually when the Lord speaks to me, it is not about date setting, but is more often about a season that we are entering into.

And, now that the season is here regarding the acceleration of happenings around the Pacific Ring of Fire, I could sense such an urgency, that the Lord is calling many of His people to commit to pray for Nation of Japan, and for the Japanese people.

Even, yesterday I was talking to the Lord about this, and I strongly sensed that this is only the beginning of what is soon to take place around the Ring of Fire, which surrounds the entire Pacific Basin like a massive horse-shoe.

And this activity is not going to stay only on the Asian side either. While the massive earthquake and Tsunami in Japan was taking place, other places were beginning to shake as well. It was reported, that two volcanos in the Far East of Russia, and another in Indonesia began to erupt.

Then, a huge volcanic eruption in southern Japan took place -- a very large eruption with Lightning bolts seen in the blast, and with wide flows of lava. Just like something you might see out of a science fiction movie! Very mind-boggling to watch! I have a few links of what has been taking place for you to see further below.

I just really sense in my heart, that the corporate Body of Christ needs to come closer together as family, and to begin to pour out our hearts in prayers and intercession to the Lord on the behalf of what is now taking place in Japan, and also, in some of the other places around the Ring of Fire, that have been experiencing extreme hardships.

I have observed over the past few years in America, what seems to be, way too much apathy, and lip service to God, without real heart commitment to the Lord, in the Body of Christ. It is very obvious and so easy to identify, even in some of the local churches.

So many have been in Churches for many years, just sitting in the pews, waiting for the next big thing to come to town, or waiting for someone new to bring them something sensational, that feeds their fleshly desires. Something to Wow, or to entertain them. It's so sad, and so grieves the Spirit of God.

And, Sometimes, it has been like pulling teeth to try to get christian believers to come together for a solemn assembly and some serious prayer these days. And, at least a hundred people who I know would say a big amen to that, because it is so true in our day! Amen???

And note, that I am not talking about saying repetitious prayers in a religious atmosphere, but I'm talking about focused heart-rending prayer and intercession, and doing some of it together as corporate groups in the Body.

What I see that we need to do now, is to begin to call people together into small groups, since it is so difficult to get those larger groups together. And each of us can begin to do this right where we live.

I just know in my heart, that those Japanese people would just love, and so appreciate to be covered with our prayers, and to receive reinforcement from God's people during this time, even if they do not understand the God who we serve. God will move mightily when we uphold them in our prayers.

Most often, it is during the worst times of hardship that God will perform the greatest miracles and transformation of lives, when His people would only commit themselves to pray and to intercede for others.

I am expecting much divine intervention and miracles for the people of Japan, as many of us would begin to pray fervently during this week, and as long as the Lord moves and directs us to do this.

I know from my own experience, that when I have gone through seasons of the greatest weakness, hurt, and distress in my life, that God would manifest Himself in miraculous ways. Even, when I felt like I just didn't have the strength to go on another day. And, I could always tell when people were praying for me, and knew that God was hearing all of those prayers and answering many of them.

So here I am, still alive and well today in 2011, when, I might otherwise have been totally wiped out from despair, and could have died from extreme grief and pain in some instances. But, He always rescued me during those times, and to this day, I have experienced so many miracles, that I could no longer count them from over the past 20 yrs. or more. God is so wonderfully Good! Praise you Jesus!

I am saying all of this prayerfully, so that God may begin to mobilize many of you out there to gather together in small groups to pray for those hurting people of Japan this week. They really need our love, prayers, and reinforcement during this time.

Below, I am including a few links of some of the other things that have happened before and after the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, just in case you hadn't heard about some of them.

These are all ring of fire disastrous shakings and eruptions that have taken place this year.

I have also included a short list of 2010 shakings and eruptions that took place last year for you to see. I thought that this would show and help you to better understand the intensity of what has taken place since 2010.

Also, remember to uphold us here in your prayers during this time, as well. I have several projects that the Lord has given me to work on over the past six months, and we are still short on the monthly funds to finish up what has already been started.

We have been in warfare here too, and need some back-up prayer and reinforcement from more of you prayer warriors. It would be so greatly appreciated. "THE PROPHETIC SIGNIFICANCE OF JAPAN'S EARTHQUAKE"

On March 11 Japan was hit with the most intense earthquake in its recorded history. This event alone has tremendous prophetic significance and it should serve as a solemn warning to the United States. The fulfillment of prophecy is at times like peeling off layers of an onion.

Some events are a type and shadow of what is to come, while others take you to the real core. The prophetic implications of the devastating Japan earthquake is a little bit of both.

First, in Matthew 24:7-8, Jesus said, “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” This is obvious, but there is more.

These were events that Jesus warned us would be signs of the end times. When we see these ancient kingdoms in the Middle East having internal turmoil and threats of wars, we look to the prophecies to determine where we are at in the continuum of prophecy. Major natural disasters are another benchmark. We as watchmen try to discern why that particular area at this specific time.

When this earthquake occurred, I wondered deeply why Japan. At the same time, I thought of the prophecies of Israel and how they may impact Japan. A central prophecy regarding Israel goes back to Genesis 12:3 where the Lord told Abraham, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee.”

A particular end time prophecy, speaking at its core about the Day of the Lord, but one that we can say comes often in layers is Zechariah 12:3 where the Lord says, “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

On March 11, the day of the earthquake, Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released this statement: The Government of Japan deplores the decisions of the Government of Israel to give permission for the construction of 1,600 housing units in East Jerusalem…Japan demands that the plans should not be implemented.”

This was the first time Japan used such strong language about Israeli settlements. The earthquake should also serve as a warning to the US president, whose State Department March 13th condemned Israeli plans to build 500 new West Bank homes as “illegitimate.”

Within 48 hours after President George W Bush substantially pressured Ariel Sharon into forcing Jewish settlers from Gaza in August 2005, the first signs of Katrina were swirling in the ocean.

Naysayers believe these are unrelated coincidence, but watchmen see them from the lens of Biblical prophecy. Jesus also said in Matthew 24, “see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” More to come.

The full statement that Japan made on March 11, 2010–one year to the day before the earthquake–was: “The Government of Japan deplores the decisions of the Government of Israel to give permission for the construction of 1,600 housing units in East Jerusalem in addition to 112 units in West Bank just after the Israeli and Palestinian leadership’s acceptance of the start of indirect talks.

The Government of Japan does not recognize any act that prejudges the final status of Jerusalem and the territories in the pre-1967 borders. Japan demands that the plans should not be implemented.”

[The Daily Jot incorrectly stated previously that Japan had done this Friday, but there is much more.]

On March 1 of this year the Palestinian National Authority announced that it had signed an agreement with Japan to provide $32.5 million for a project of treating waste water in the Palestinian-occupied town of Jericho. It was reported as one of the biggest projects aided by Japan in the Palestinian territories to supply industrial areas with water.

The PNA noted in the announcement that since 1993, Japan had given the PNA more than a billion dollars, including $40 million in developing the Jordan Valley area in the West Bank. The PNA said that the agreement is “vita, strategic and important to help the PNA finalize building the institutions of the future Palestinian state.”

Japan is instrumental in helping build out a Palestinian state on the West Bank (traditional lands of Judea and Samaria), yet is critical and demanding of Israel for building housing units for its own citizens.

On January 11 this year, Japan’s Foreign Ministry said it “condemns the demolishing of a part of the Shepherd’s Hotel in East Jerusalem with a view to constructing new housing units for Jewish people.”

A month later on February 10, Japan’s Foreign Ministry said Israel’s plan to build housing unites for “Jewish people in Sheih Jarrah of East Jerusalem” is against efforts of the international community to resume peace negotiations. A month later, Japan is hit with a historic earthquake.

Daily Jot sources point out that the earthquake in Japan caused tsunami flooding in industrial areas, and the money Japan gave to the Palestinians was for wastewater treatment to supply water to industrial areas of a new Palestinian State.

The United States also is guilty of giving billions of dollars to the Palestinians over the years. And the current US president is condemning the Israeli homebuilding as well. Keep in mind that Japan’s fault-line is part of the infamous “ring of fire” where about 90% of the world’s earthquakes occur.

This includes the entire Pacific coast of America. Zechariah 2:8 says of Zion, “for he that touches you touches the apple of Lord’s eye.” Japan and America share the same “Fault” line. What is next?

JESUS: "SERMON ON THE MOUNT"

Dear Joshua Family Subscribers:

This morning, the Lord placed on my heart to share with you some Kingdom foundational teaching outline notes, of Jesus's "Sermon on the Mount" for your personal studies and spiritual growth from Ihop/ Forerunner.

I would like to challenge each and every one of you, to study this outline very throughly, and to check out all of the scripture references as you go. For the Beatitudes are as, the "Constitution of the Kingdom of God" (Foundational) and it is very important for you to understand the terms that Jesus taught about, and to also learn the principles and importance of walking in obedience to God.

Even, if you think that you already know all of this, and don't need it, is a strong sign that you really do. Because it is not just about knowing it in your head, but is also about getting it down in your heart, and making it a part of your everyday lifestyle. And, if that has not already happened, then you still really need it, just as we all do!

You know, these days, we hear a lot of believers talking about the Constitution of our founding Fathers in America, and how there is an agenda to do away with/or parts of the Constitution, and to replace it with something of a more socialistic and/ secular humanistic nature.

So, how much more should we regard the words and teachings of Jesus, and to uphold (to obey) what He and the Apostles taught in the New Testament. For there is already an agenda of the enemy, to either do away with, or to soft-serve a diluted form of sensational Christianity to the masses.

Then, to fuse it together with another subtle demonic force, that has it's origins in Eastern mysticism. A guru-type spirit from the east. (The Lord has shown this to me very clearly, and several times since the end of 2008) Once, in a very clear panoramic open vision, of which I will share later on, in another post in the future.

And, the only way that many believers are going to remain safe from this, is to return to their first love, who is the Lord Jesus Christ, to strengthen their relationships with God, and to give themselves over to more intensive study of the scriptures coupled with the revelation of the Holy Spirit. This is the only way to stay clear of the deceptions and delusions, as they are already at work, and are growing and accelerating every day.

As a Christian believer it is more about knowing and loving God enough to obey Him, and also loving the Truth of His written Word. We need both to live for Him, and to have our spiritual eyes opened.

There is a very strong delusion that is now coming on the scene, to deceive the masses, and even the very elect of God, if it were possible. And the Bible tells us this will happen in the last days, so how could any of us deny it, or attempt to sweep it aside.

And many are already being sucked into it through "make me feel good", Christianized mystical Guru-type messages, placing Angels on the forefront of messages, Extra-Biblical Revelations, Sensationalism, False manifestations, and Super-hyped Christianity. And, I will tell you very honestly today, that there are dangerous spirits of seduction behind most of those things mentioned above.

There has been a clarion call for many years now, to return to our foundations of the faith, and to also, get back to the book of Acts on what the true activity of Spirit of God is supposed to be like, and to look like.

You should also be able to discern the messengers by the messages that they bring forth, and to weigh it against the scriptures. Never judge anything by popular opinion, or receive it just because a popular Apostle, Pastor, or Teacher says so, because many these days are pushing another subtle agenda that is not of God. Search out the scriptures for yourself, and ask the Lord to bring the understanding of the truth (Rhema of the Holy Spirit), and clarity into your life.

Not all manifestations and signs and wonders are of God. Some are, and some are not, but we are living in a day of mixture, of what is of the Holy Spirit, and that which is not. And many apparently cannot discern the difference, as we saw with many of the leaders during some of the 2008 events.

There is also a mixture of truth, and half-truths, as well. And if you do not understand what God has given to us in the scriptures, then you will not know the difference, nor would you be able to discern the difference. Learning from what Jesus taught, and what the Apostles taught will bring you to that conclusion, of what is actually missing in the some of the Christian movements of our day.

And the Lord desires for all of us, to get back to the truth of His Word, and to genuinely follow Him, as we are taught in the scriptures. There are a lot of custom tailor-made beliefs out there today, that are progressively leading many off of the true narrow path, into a subtle form of idolatry and personality worship, and we need to be aware of this, so that we may steer clear, from any of those deceptions of the enemy in the days ahead.

I knew before I wrote this, that it was going to ruffle a few feathers, but my stance in the Lord, is to tell you the truth, and not what you may always desire to hear, to make you feel more comfortable. And it is because, I must share what the Lord places on my heart, and also because I care, and love you enough to tell you the truth.

THE BEATITUDES: THE ONLY WAY TO HAPPINESS AND GREATNESS IN THE KINGDOM (Mt. 5:3-12)

I. THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT: CORE VALUES OF THE KINGDOM

A. THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT IS THE “CONSTITUTION OF GOD'S KINGDOM.” It is the litmus test to measure spiritual development and ministry impact. We measure our ministry impact by how much people seek to walk out the Sermon on the Mount values (not by the size of our ministry).

B. A WISE MAN BUILDS HIS "HOUSE" (LIFE AND MINISTRY) ON THE "ROCK" which refers to relating to Jesus according to the Sermon on the Mount. This lifestyle is do-able for every believer and is the only way to experience God’s Kingdom. To neglect this lifestyle is to neglect and miss the Kingdom.

24, Whoever hears these sayings of Mine (Sermon on the Mount), and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall… (Mt. 7:24-25)

C. WHY DO YOU WANT GOD TO ANOINT YOUR MINISTRY? What is your dream for it? What would you do with more influence? Would you convince others to walk in this lifestyle (secretly/consistently)?

II. OUR PRIMARY LIFE CALLING: TO PURSUE 100-FOLD OBEDIENCE (MT. 5:48)

A. JESUS CALLED US TO BE PERFECT IN OUR OBEDIENCE, that is to be mature or complete in it. This is meant to be the primary issue in our spiritual life yet it is often overlooked and disregarded. We do this by seeking to walk in all the light that the Spirit gives us.

The pursuit of full obedience is not the same as attaining it. Our pursuit for complete obedience is relative in this age and absolute in the age-to-come. Our responsibility is to focus on “seeking” to completely obey God. We trust God’s grace to empower us to “attain” full obedience in an ever-increasing measure.

48, You shall be perfect (walk in all the light you receive) as your Father…is perfect. (Mt. 5:48)

B. THE PURSUIT OF "COMPLETE OBEDIENCE" INCLUDES: bridling our speech (Jas 3:2), disciplining our physical appetites (1 Cor. 9:27), managing our time (for service and prayer with the Word) and money (to increase the Kingdom beyond our comfort and honor; Mt. 6:19-21) and making a covenant with our eyes to refuse to look upon anything that stirs up lust (Job 31:1).

C. BECAUSE OF GOD'S ZEAL FOR DEEP RELATIONSHIP WITH US, HE REQUIRES, that we walk in all the light that He gives us. Our pursuit of full obedience expresses our value of our relationship with Jesus. Our obedience is an expression of our love for Him.

21, He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. (Jn. 14:21)

D. WE ONLY EXPERIENCE THE "FULL LIGHT" OR BRIGHTNESS OF THE SPIRIT, when the eye of our heart is good (single) so that it brings light to our inner man. We only do this by pursuing 100-fold obedience.

22, The lamp (source of light) of the body is the eye (of the heart). If therefore your eye is good (single, KJV), your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad (lacks single focus), your whole body will be full of darkness. (Mt. 6:22-23)

E. ONLY IN A LIFESTYLE THAT SEEKS FULL OBEDIENCE, can we know the “brightness” of being connected to God’s heart and feeling His presence. There are powerful dynamics that occur in us only when we pursue 100-fold obedience. Pursuing obedience in 98% of our life has limited blessing. It is in the last 2% that we receive “double” grace and experience a bright spirit or spiritual vitality.

F. A SPIRITUAL DULLNESS TOUCHES OUR HEART UNLESS WE LOVE RIGHTEOUSNESS. All the areas of our spiritual life are inter-connected. We rob people of joy (oil of gladness) by lowering the truth of the gospel in our human sentiment that seeks to make it easier by presenting a “lesser gospel.”

9, You (Jesus) have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions. (Heb. 1:9)

III. THE CALL TO BE COMPLETE IN CHRIST: 2 DIFFERENT REALITIES

A. THE SCRIPTURE PRESENTS TWO ASPECTS OF BEING COMPLETE BEFORE GOD. First, the moment we are born again, we are instantly made complete in Christ in our legal position (justification) because of Jesus’ work on the cross (2 Cor. 5:17-21). Second, we progressively become “complete in our obedience” in our living condition before God (sanctification). Both are foundational truths.

10, You are complete in Him... (Col. 2:10)

B. BEFORE GOD, OUR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IN THIS LIFE IS TO BECOME PERFECT, OR COMPLETE IN OUR OBEDIENCE.

C. SCRIPTURE USES DIFFERENT TERMS FO THE SAME TRUTH: it exhorts us to be complete in our obedience (2 Cor. 13:9, 11; Phil. 1:6; Col. 4:12; 2 Tim. 3:17; Heb. 13:20-21; Jas. 1:4); perfect (Mt. 5:48; 19:21; Jn. 17:23; Gal. 3:3; Eph. 4:13. Col. 1:28; 1 Thes. 3:10; Jas. 2:22; 3:2; 1 Pet. 5:10; Rev. 3:2);

mature (Phil. 3:15); blameless (Lk. 1:6; 1 Cor. 1:6-8; Phil. 2:15; 1 Thes. 3:13; 5:23; 1 Tim. 3:2, 10; 5:5-7; 6:14; 2 Pet. 3:14; without spot (Eph 5:27); Worthy (2 Thes. 1:5-12; Lk 21:34-36; 20:35-36; Col. 1:9-10 Mt. 10:37-38; 22:8; Rev 3:4-5; Eph. 4:1; Phil. 1:27; 1 Thes. 2:12); Stand (Lk. 21:36; 1 Cor. 10:13; 16:13; Eph. 6:10-14; Phil. 4:1; Col. 4:12; 1 Thes. 3:8; Rev. 6:17).

9, This also we pray, that you may be made complete. (2 Cor. 13:9)

12, Epaphras…always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. (Col. 4:12)

28, We preach warning every man (believer) and teaching every man…that we may present every man perfect (mature) in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor… (Col. 1:28-29)

3, The testing of your faith produces patience (endurance). 4 Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (in our obedience)… (Jas 1:3-4)

10, Praying exceedingly that we may see your face and perfect what is lacking in your faith… 12, May the Lord make you increase and abound in love… (1 Thes. 3:10-12)

10, But may the God of all grace…after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. (1 Pet. 5:10)

IV. BEING PERFECT: TO WALK OUT THE 8 BEATITUDES

3, Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4, Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

5, Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

6, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

7, Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

8, Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

9, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

10, Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Mt. 5:3-10)

A. JESUS DEFINED BEING "PERFECT" OR BEING "COMPLETE IN OBEDIENCE", as walking out the 8 beatitudes (Mt. 5:3-12) as we pursue 100-fold obedience(Mt. 5:48). This is our foundational call in life. We cannot focus on walking out the Sermon on the Mount without being very familiar with it. The 8 beatitudes do not make sense separated from the context of pursuing 100-fold obedience.

B. THE BEATITUDES ARE LIKE 8 BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS IN THE "GARDEN OF YOUR HEART" that God wants to fully blossom. They define love, godliness and spiritual maturity and describe life in the Spirit (true discipleship and/or spiritual maturity). They also describe how God wants to bless us and what He wants to duplicate in the nations through ministry.

C. THESE 8 FLOWERS NEED TO BE CAREFULLY AND CONTINUALLY CULTIVATED, as we “weed our garden” by resisting the 6 negative influences (toxins/poisons) related to our natural lusts (Mt. 5:21-48) and as we “water our garden” by pursuing the 5 positive nutrients(prayer, fasting, giving, serving and blessing enemies, Mt. 6:1-18) that position us to receive a greater impartation of grace.

D. JESUS GAVE SIX PRACTICAL AREAS IN WHICH WE MUST WAGE WAR AGAINST, lust (1 Pet. 2:11): anger (spirit of murder, Mt. 5:21-26), adultery (spirit of immorality, Mt. 5:27-30), disregarding the marriage covenant (spirit of treachery, Mal. 2:13-17 that breaks covenant for selfish pursuits, Mt. 5:31-32)

False commitments (spirit of manipulation that seeks to promote ourselves, Mt. 5:33-37), demanding justice (spirit of pride or bitterness that insists on our personal rights, Mt. 5:38-41) and retaliation (spirit of revenge or animosity in relationships, Mt. 5:42-47).

E. JESUS DESCRIBES FIVE "GRACE-RELEASING ACTIVITIES" IN OUR DEVOTIONAL LIFE, that position our heart to receive more strength in the grace of God. Our heart receives more grace as we consistently and secretly serve and give (charitable deeds: giving service and/or money (6:1–4, 19-21), pray (6:5–13), bless adversaries (forgiving, 6:14–15; 5:44) and fast (6:16–18).

F. SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES (PRAYER, FASTING, MEDITATION, ETC.) are ordained by God as a necessary way to posture our heart to freely receive more grace. These activities do not earn us God’s favor but give us the opportunity to express the value we have for our relationship with Jesus.

God gives more to those who are hungry for relationship with Him. Our hunger for Him is an expression of our love for Him. God gives more to our heart but does not love us more when we live in spiritual disciplines.

ANALOGY: We put our cold heart before the bonfire of God’s presence. The power is in the “bonfire of God’s presence” not in the “cold flesh” positioned in front of it.

V. BEATITUDES: ONLY WAY TO BLESSEDNESS (HAPPINESS, GREATNESS IN THE KINGDOM, AND FREEDOM)

A. JESUS REVEALED 8 BEATITUDES OR 8 ATTITUDES THAT RELEASE BLESSEDNESS ON OUR LIVES. To be blessed is to experience abundant life which is the happiness, greatness and freedom that God created us for.

10, I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (Jn. 10:10)

B. WE NEED A REVELATION THAT ONLY IN THE BEATITUDES, CAN WE EXPERIENCE ABUNDANT LIFE. Our natural mind cannot see this without the aid of the Spirit. The natural mindset thinks that happiness is best found through favorable circumstances (much money, honor, influence and ability, etc.).

17, Blessed are you, Simon …for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 …On this rock I will build My church... (Mt. 16:17-18)

C. BY REVELATION, WE CONCLUDE THAT THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT LIFESTYLE Is not just the best way to experience abundant life (happiness, greatness and freedom) but it is the only way.

D. BEING POOR IN SPIRIT, (theirs is the kingdom, Mt. 5:3) – to acknowledge that we are in great need of help to sustain whole-heartedness (Mt. 5:48). This is to understand, that we are in a serious dilemma in needing a breakthrough in our heart (insight/power) and ministry in godliness.

E. MOURNING FOR BREAKTHOUGH (for they shall be comforted, Mt. 5:4) - to be desperate enough to be “extreme” in pursuit of a progressive breakthrough in our heart (insight/power) and ministry.

F. WALKING IN MEEKNESS (shall inherit the earth, Mt. 5:5) – to walk in the fasted lifestyle or to have a servant spirit in the use of our strengths (time, money, energy, reputation, authority etc.).

G. HUNGERING FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS (for they shall be filled, Mt. 5:6) – sustained faithfulness in seeking God with wholeheartedness through the changing seasons of our life instead of being burned out by our disappointments with God or by our offense at the way people treat us.

H. RELATING TO OTHERS WITH MERCY (for they shall obtain mercy, Mt. 5:7) – having a tender spirit in how we treat others who fail spiritually as well as those who attack, resist or disappoint us.

I. BEING PURE IN HEART (they shall see God, Mt. 5:8) – breakthrough of purity in our thoughts (bitterness, immorality) and motives(helping people for their benefit without any personal gain). To “see God” even in a small measure causes our spirit to be bright (i.e., fascinated with God).

J. BECOMING AN ANOINTED PEACEMAKER (called sons of God, Mt. 5:9) – anointing to bring peace (healing, restoration) to that which is out of God’s will (broken relationships, sick bodies, etc.)

K. ENDURING PERSECUTION (theirs is the kingdom, Mt. 5:10-12) – bearing the counterattack for plundering Satan’s Kingdom because we operate in power and/or stand for righteousness. We rejoice for the glory of knowing Jesus and the privilege of suffering for His name. (Acts 5:41).

"PROPHETIC WORDS FOR 2011"

Today, I would like to share with you an excerpt of some prophetic insight given by Loren Sanford for the year 2011. There is also a video that you can watch, for the full-length message delivered at New Song Fellowship (his Church) on December 12th, 2010 in Denver, Colo.. The video is supposedly a Quicktime video, but, I also found that it will play on Windows Media Player.

I would encourage you to listen to the entire message, to get the full scope of what I believe, is some very important prophetic insight for this year. A video that we can all discover something new from, I'm sure. I found it very interesting and confirming, with plenty of scripture references given, which is always a big plus.

"PROPHETIC WORDS FOR 2011"

(This is the last few minutes of my annual prophetic word delivered at NEW SONG FELLOWSHIP December 12, 2011.)

I have hesitated to publish this and have pondered carefully how I might word it in order to avoid contributing to the frenzy of fear-mongering that too often passes for the prophetic word these days. Because I value accuracy in the prophetic I don’t like to speak until I am fairly certain of what I’m hearing or sensing.

To the point: We, the United States of America, are headed toward an intense crisis at the presidential level, the outcome of which will determine the direction of this country for a number of years to come. I sense this crisis coming at or before the beginning of President Obama’s fourth year in office. I am therefore issuing an intense call to prayer because the prayers of God’s people, together with the spirit in which we offer them, will shape the aftermath of this crisis for either good or ill.

It can be a wonderful and historic turning point for the nation or it can be the beginning of the shattering of our country with depths of division beyond any we have seen since the Civil War. Much depends on what believers choose to do now in the months we have in which to prepare.

Please note that I am making no political statements here. I merely point out that a crisis is coming, whatever form it may take, that it will directly affect our president and that the outcome of the crisis will be either restorative or destructive for us as a nation.

In order to be effective in praying toward and shaping the outcome of this coming crisis, we must first shed the anger that many of us with a conservative political orientation seem to allow to so easily overtake us. James 1:20 teaches that “the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God” and yet I continue to hear growing choruses of anger and bitterness coming from those who should know better.

Many of us will have to learn the meaning of Romans 12:20-21, "But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” We must prepare ourselves to be servants, even to those whose opinions – or sins - offend our sense of what is right.

All of us must plumb the depths of I Timothy 2:1-2 and understand the true heart of Father God in it whose nature is love: “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” No prayer offered in any spirit but His will be heard in heaven.

Even more importantly, we must understand the meaning of our true citizenship. “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:20). I love my country and am glad to have been born an American, but I will never allow my love for my country to become an article of faith.

I belong to the kingdom of God. America is a place on a map. The kingdom of God is an eternal state of being in which the rule and reign of God are realized. Therein lies my allegiance. When patriotism becomes an item of faith, hatred is birthed and people always get hurt.

We are rushing toward a nexus in time, a very narrow passage in which even small events and minor decisions will loom large in their effect. We will need the intervening hand of God to achieve a good outcome and enter a season of hope. Saints pray! Pray in whatever way the Lord guides you to pray, but above all, pray in His Spirit and with His heart. We can affect the course of history.

I believe it is time for prophetic people to be held accountable for the fulfillment of their words – or lack thereof. If I therefore turn out to be wrong on this one, I commit to publish an apology to the body of Christ.

"The Emperor Has No Clothes"

Dear Joshua Family Subscribers:

Today, I would like to share with you a prophetic parable on the condition of the church today, which was given to the late Jill Austin in an open vision. Although, the setting of this parable was in a charming 18th century village in Victorian England, when I read this, it reminded me so much of what has taken place in some of our own towns and cities across modern America, especially over the past decade, with outpouring events, and their aftermath, which is not something for the corporate church to be bragging about, or to become prideful in, believe me!

As you read through the parable, note, the Red Dragon that moves in with the strange fire, and the poisonous sulfur that erupts from it's mouth in this prophetic vision. This is a warning for the spiritually blinded modern church friends! The Emperor and his counselors in this prophetic parable had turned deaf ears to the Watchmen, and ignored their call for repentance and prayer, due to their spiritual blindness and pride. After all, they were known for the outpouring of the Spirit!

Then, as you will see in this parable, a deeper infiltration of deception came to them. Does this ring a bell in your heart, of anything that you have been seeing? It sure does to me, from all that I have seen and witnessed over the past decade, and especially over the past few years. Then, there was another part of this prophetic parable that really stood out to me, as I pondered this vision. The Emperor in the story was guilty of compromise and control; and the counselors were guilty of flatteries and lies. And note, that the people in the vision were guilty of idolizing a man or a movement. This is really scary stuff folks, and the church, especially the corporate charismatic church, really needs to wake up and to get those blinders off.

The people in this vision had become loyal to a false kingdom, rather than the genuine Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. The child in this prophetic parable was at first, the only one who could see that the Emperor was not wearing any clothes, until the hearts were circumcised, and eyes of the crowd were opened spiritually to see. They had all been blind due to their pride and idolatry of the Emperor. And, so it is today!

Read and ponder this entire vision for your yourself, prayerfully. I did, and I'm going to go back, and to reflect over this parable once more again tonight. I could go on and on with you here, but it would be better for you to just read the whole vision prayerfully for yourself. I believe that the Spirit of the Lord will speak many different things to different people's hearts with this. So, open your hearts to hear the voice of the Lord, in what He would desire to say to you. I'm sure He will speak volumes to you, if you are sensitive to hear His voice. The Emperor is not wearing any clothes, friends! :)

A Prophetic Vision and Word

I would like to share with you an open vision the Lord gave me, which is a prophetic parable of the state of the church today. The setting is that of a charming 18th century village in Victorian England.

In the vision, I saw that the village had experienced a powerful outpouring of the Spirit, but the fire had been slowly and ever-so-subtly allowed to flicker out, opening the way for religious spirits of witchcraft and manipulation to move in and destroy its destiny.

I watched in horror as an enormous red dragon moved through the village, undetected, as strange fire and poisonous sulfur erupted from her gaping mouth. Her leathery scales rub abrasively, tearing and bruising all those who came in contact with her.

Pregnant with vile offspring, she laid her gruesome eggs of manipulation, self-promotion, and politics throughout the village. As I continued to watch, dark fiendish figures burst forth from her eggs, seeping into every residence open to her deception and flattery.

Their victim’s eyes became dim and their tongues forked as they took on the characteristics of their unseen enemy. A veil of darkness covered the hearts and minds of many in the small community.

A Prophetic Warning!

Standing their watch on the ancient walls, prophetic intercessors recognized the raging dragon and her children and sounded their trumpets in alarm. “Strange fire is being released into our midst. The fire of Holy Spirit is being put out!” The Emperor and his counselors turned deaf ears to the Watchmen and ignored their call for repentance and prayer.

Guarding their stance, they retorted, “After all, our village has been known for the outpouring of the Spirit.” To reinforce the faith of the people, they decreed a festive celebration to take place the following month. The whole village eagerly prepared for the extravaganza.

Allowed to continue her work, the dragon and her offspring infiltrated even further, cloaking their deeds behind the busy activities taking place and spewing forth even more of their evil venom.

The Grand Procession!

The next scene materialized as the day arrived. Look! The Emperor and his counselors pompously marched down the middle of town with dancers, musicians, and singers following. Cheering crowds gathered. The loud speakers announced how beautifully the Emperor was dressed and how the anointing sparkled like dazzling diamonds. The people looked on with awe and reverence.

As the procession moved through the throngs, the Emperor’s counselors drew near to whisper their sage advice, “The anointing is growing like never before. Look how popular you are!! The peasants love you.”

“Oh yes,” another whispered, “They do love you. Have you noticed how the treasury has increased? And look how the people are dancing in the streets to the new wine and music. After all, we have the most anointed musicians and dancers in the nation.”

“You, O’ Emperor, are covered in a glorious mantle --- the likes of which others only dream of! Surely we are at the beginning of great things.”

Child-like Faith

In the distant crowd, a child’s voice could be heard above the din, “Mommy! Daddy! The Emperor has no clothes on. He’s naked!”

Moving quickly, the counselors barked out orders, “Silence that child!”

But the child would not be silenced, “Can’t you see Mommy? Can’t anyone see it?”

The truth spoken with child-like faith resulted in gleaming angelic swords being drawn, readied for battle. The watchmen had been crying out day and night for reinforcements. Quickly, angelic hosts circumcised hearts and opened the eyes of the crowd bowing low to the Emperor.

They gasped, “He’s naked! The Emperor is naked! Where’s the anointing? I thought the mantle of God’s government was upon him?! What happened?”

The Emperor's ears were finally opened to hear in the Spirit the sounds of war, as swords clashed and the hosts of Heaven waged war against the dragon and her children. Spinning around to face his advisors, the Emperor charged them, “You lied to me! Why is it that I hear the truth from a child -- instead of you?”

Do Not Remove Your Spirit From Me

Hot tears fell from the eyes of the Father that melted the Emperor’s heart and opened his spiritual eyes. “I have no covering. The anointing has left. I am naked!”

Looking over the crowd lining the narrow, winding streets, he began to make out the horde of dark spirits invading his village. The once powerful and anointed man fell helplessly onto his face, “I’m a dead man; the village is destroyed. Oh God, what have I done? How did I become so blind? Do not remove your Spirit from me. I can’t live without You.”

Fear and panic hit the crowd as the dragon became visible for all to see. They scattered in all directions, searching for a safe place to hide. Some died in this dark, barren place, once called the “City of the Lord.”

Sword of Repentance

Above City Hall stood a huge angel who exclaimed, “When we brought the Ark of the Lord and His Presence to this village, we also brought the First Sword. It passed over your hearts to bring repentance and reawaken First Love. His consuming fire came to break off all that hindered love and you were glad and rejoiced.”

Sword of Judgment

“Now a Second Sword is passing over the village, a Sword of Judgment. The Word tested those of you who received the heaviest and most beautiful prophetic words. Many of your hearts were revealed in pride and self-promotion, which opened the doorway for strange fire to fall on the altars of your hearts.”

I watched as the Angel passed the Second Sword over the people. Those who fell on their faces in humility and repentance before the Living God were not touched. Those who stood tall in pride and opposition to God unknowingly called forth the dragon and brought devastation to themselves and their children.

Finally, the Angel declared, “This village was called not only to be His servant, but also His bride; to become a prophetic womb, impregnated by His Spirit, to bring forth His Manifest Presence to the nations of the earth.”

“There’s always a contesting and heavy spiritual warfare where the dragon rages to abort the things of the Spirit realm in the earth. Birthing is bloody, but also a tremendous privilege. There’s a “Price Behind the Anointing.”

Behind Closed Doors

Confusion increased as the war raged and secret meetings behind closed doors continued. Fighting and jealousy over positions began to blind and deceive once valiant warriors. The dragon planted her malevolent eggs of pride and elitism in the minds of the rebellious. They’d go off like grenades in explosions of anger and rage.

The Bridegroom sadly watched as the fire went out on His altar and His precious Spirit was delegated to the back room. The angels bowed down as He wept over the city and the Father declared, “The fragrance of My Son has left.”

Meanwhile, the counselors were busy trying to defend their position and rationalize away the fears of the Emperor, while the dragon destroyed more lives and ministries. Disease and death spread throughout the ravished city as the dragon moved in for the ultimate kill. People became numb to their pain and slowly … ever-so-slowly … they moved into denial. Hot tears flowed from the Emperor’s eyes onto the blood-soaked battlefield.

Watchmen Beware!

The dragon sent out a death warrant for each of the watchmen. If his henchmen could not take their lives, they silenced their voices and gorged out their ‘seeing’ eyes. The seers left, one by one. Many slipped away silently into the dark of the night, desperately asking God where to go next. But due to the devastation, there were no city gates open to them and they were left hiding in the wilderness. Those left behind watched as yet another one was driven away. One by one, the ax fell and heads rolled.

False Reports and Fear of Man

The loud speakers broadcasted false reports of how the seers were being sent to a new work in another state or nation. Everything was covered with flattery and deception. It seemed that broken hearts and torn covenants all that was left.

Fear of the tremendous power of the Emperor and his counselors to destroy their future ministries had silenced those remaining. No one talked, control and order was the rule of the day and barrenness was the high price they paid for respectability.

Helplessly, I looked on as this terrible war in the spirit continued. Many of the people were not even aware that it was destroying their city. The altar of their hearts became colder and colder as the Presence of God lifted.

Finally, Holy Spirit was pushed out of the sanctuary and the dragon and her children spread like a deadly plague. The heavens were angry and grieved as the war continued to wage and disease and death took their premature toll on the Bride.

Beloved, only the consuming fire of God can ignite passion and hunger in us for Jesus so we can wage war effectively. Without the Spirit, how can we hope to hear the Commander and Chief give us His strategies for the war over each of our communities and cities?

Loyal to a Movement or to God

So who is wrong? The Emperor? The counselors? The people? All of the above! The Emperor was guilty of compromise and control; the counselors were guilty of flattery and lies; and the people were guilty of idolizing a man or a movement. They became loyal to a false kingdom, rather than the Kingdom of the Lord of Lords and the Kings of Kings.

Some of the seers were guilty of stirring the prophetic “wars” and became power-hungry to get the Emperor’s favor to drive out other seers so they could gain control of the hearts of the leaders and the people.

Respectability Versus Anointing!

Has the fire gone out on the altar of your heart? Do you have the revelation and strategies of warfare to oust the dragon and her children from your midst? Are you flattering the ears of the Emperor to win position and favor? Are you on your face in repentance and humility before the Second Sword passes over your city?

Has God brought the prophets in for a season to test your heart? Are you willing to let your city be the womb of the Spirit to birth forth the prophetic and apostolic to the world? Or, will your altar grow colder and colder? Do you value respectability or the anointing?

On Tithing for New Testament Believers

For most of my adult Christian life, I have always believed in giving to God, and to help others. Not out of obligation, but because God placed the desire within me to be a generous person whenever I am able to do so. When, I lacked, I probably did less than at other times. When, I abounded more financially then, I would desire to do over and above what I did before.

I do believe in extravagant giving when it comes to serving the Lord, and it is not so that I can get something back, or to receive some special recognition from others, but simply because it is the best choice for me, and know that it is the right thing to do. Giving of our time, labors, and finances is certainly a part of our worship and honor towards God. When we love and honor God in giving of ourselves and resources then, we will also love and honor people as we should, as well.

Friends, the truth is, there is not one supportive scripture that commands, or even suggests in the New Testament that believers should tithe 10% ...or to tithe any percentage, period!. Jesus spoke about selling all, giving money to the poor, and the blessing of giving. But He never taught His disciples tithing of money, as an obligation anywhere in the gospels. Remember, this was also before the birth of the early church.

Then, a little later on after Christ's death, burial, resurrection, and the birth of the early church, there was still no evidence of tithing being taught by the Apostles to the early believers either. Therefore, it is only New Testament giving out of a loving and cheerful heart, but not out of a regulation of tithing. Instead of giving our little 10%, why not just give to God 100% or our lives? Then, we will truly want to become extravagant givers, not because we have to, but because we desire to, out of the Love of our hearts for the Lord, and for the people. This is the real love and obedience to God in operation, and genuine love has a spontaneous flow, and wants to give cheerfully, not because it has to, but, because it wants to.

In the book of Acts, there were those who sold their possessions and laid the proceeds at the Apostles feet so, that it could be distributed where needed. But, this was not some huge salary for the Apostles themselves. They shared as community, so that those who had needs would be taken care of. Now, that's real Church! :)

Fellowship of the Early Believers = Real Church - On Giving and Distribution

Acts 2:44-47, All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Acts 4:32-35, All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

Note: Also, they never gave "to get something back" from God, or to become rich, as we see is so prevalent in westernized Christianity today.

New Testament giving is best summed up in the following passages: 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 - Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. NIV

Here is a second short explanation that I recently saw from John MacArthur Jr., which explains a little more perspective on tithing, and I quote:

MacArthur says: "Two kinds of giving are taught consistently throughout Scripture: giving to the government (always compulsory), and giving to God (always voluntary).The issue has been greatly confused, however, by some who misunderstand the nature of the Old Testament tithes. Tithes were not primarily gifts to God, but taxes for funding the national budget in Israel."

"Because Israel was a theocracy, the Levitical priests acted as the civil government. So the Levite's tithe (Leviticus 27:30-33) was a precursor to today's income tax, as was a second annual tithe required by God to fund a national festival (Deuteronomy 14:22-29). Smaller taxes were also imposed on the people by the law (Leviticus 19:9-10; Exodus 23:10-11). So the total giving required of the Israelites was not 10 percent, but well over 20 percent. All that money was used to operate the nation."

"All giving apart from that required to run the government was purely voluntary (Exodus 25:2; 1 Chronicles 29:9). Each person gave whatever was in his heart to give; no percentage or amount was specified."

"New Testament believers are never commanded to tithe. Matthew 22:15-22 and Romans 13:1-7 tell us about the only required giving in the church age, which is the paying of taxes to the government. Interestingly enough, we in America presently pay between 20 and 30 percent of our income to the government--a figure very similar to the requirement under the theocracy of Israel."

"The guideline for our giving to God and His work is found in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7: 'Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.'"

Prophecy Update: Signs in the Heavens

Today, I wanted to share with you some important prophetic information, with a Prophecy Update video (Parts 1-3) on the Signs in the Heavens. This is the most amazing video series on what will happen in the heavens during 2014-15. The Solar and Lunar eclipses will fall on the Jewish Feasts as signs of the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, on the Hebrew Calendar.

Acts 3:19-21- Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you - even Jesus. 21,`He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18- According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16, For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of god, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17, After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. On Eleven Words for 2011 -- "It is Time to Dust Off Your Bible!"

Dear Joshua Family Subscribers:

The following message is one of the best prophetic articles that I have seen so far, this year. Eleven Words For 2011 - It Is Time To Dust Off Your Bible, written by Dennis Cramer. Kudos to Dennis for sharing this with the Body of Christ!

At first, I wondered what all of the fuss was about concerning the Eleven Words - 2011 prophetic article on the net? It was a great prophetic article, and the message was quite clear and accurate. I understand, that it was originally posted on the Elijah list, but since I unsubscribed last year after the Lord had dealt with me about 'not reading' most of the type of messages being posted there, I had to check out a few other blog sites to finally learn what was actually going on.

Evidently, some people were not happy about the article and complained because it wasn't to their liking, (not ear-tickling) so, it was deleted and then reposted again with an explanation to please the people. But, if many of the people were already way-off/ or deceived by tainted doctrines and soulish prophetic words themselves, then how would they recognize the truth when they finally do see, or hear it? Most of them probably would not, but there might always be some who would.

Usually, when this sort of thing happens in the case of some ministries, it is pretty evident, that it is likely done, to keep the money flowing in. :) Lord help your people!

Now, my question to our readers here: Is there a major shake-down and challenge concerning deceptive teachings taking place in some of the Charismatic churches and ministries these days? I believe so, and so do so many others who are in the movement themselves.

It's now time to dust off those Bibles again, for those who are taking part in Extreme Charismatic Doctrinal error, Bizarre mystical manifestations, an over-emphasis on Angelic encounters (some are fallen angels), and Extra-Biblical revelation/ or New-age type experiences that run outside of the boundaries of the truth of the Word of God.

It's time to get rooted and grounded in the scriptures, get back to the basics, and look to Jesus Christ, who is the only true author and finisher of our faith! Let's never settle for a cheap imitation when we can have the real thing. Selah! (Pause and reflect on this!) ~ L.D. Oxford

I would like to add some clarity to explain my 2011 (global) prophecy, a "word in season" for the Body of Christ in every nation. Perhaps, the phrase "at will" that appears after a number of the "doctrines of concern" that I address in point three below, could be more clearly understood by the reader.

"At will" means a Believer makes a decision, on his own, to initiate or attempt to duplicate a particular sovereign, supernatural experience. The individual wants a particular supernatural experience to happen so badly, he will do anything (within his power) to make it happen – to force it, to duplicate or copy it, whether or not it is God's sovereign will. Rather, a Believer should allow God to SOVEREIGNLY cause it to happen at His chosen time, as we see recorded in all similar Bible examples.

When a Believer unwisely exercises his (soulish) human will, outside of or in conflict with the sovereign will of God (anything contrary to the written Word of God, the Bible), he is producing a seemingly supernatural (source unclear) experience from his own will or "at will." This is the meaning of "at will." "At will" is self-will, and self-will can be sinful and can lead to all kinds of spiritual deception and questionable practices.

• The Question of Supernatural Sovereign Experiences "At Will"

Do I believe in Third Heaven experiences? Absolutely, I do. The Bible supports such sovereign experiences as in the example of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12. Do I believe in being physically transported? Absolutely, I do! By a sovereign act of God, Phillip was physically transported ( Acts 8 ) from one location to another. So if it's in the Bible I believe it! I believe it all! Amen!

However, there is a HUGE difference between God willing you to have a certain sovereign Bible experience (like Paul or Phillip), as opposed to you willing it or trying to make it happen, to duplicate it through mere human effort or merely through the exercising of your human or soulish will, in other words, "at will." These Bible experiences were 100% sovereign. They did not happen because these individuals willed them into existence or willed them to happen. God and God alone initiated them – He and He alone willed them.

This is the very nature of a sovereign experience: God makes it happen when He wants, where He wants, and with whom He wants. Period! And they usually happened when the candidates or recipients least expected it. Why? Because these were sovereign events, not planned or initiated by man, but by God.

When discussing a sovereign experience there is a big difference between initiating versus cooperating. God INITIATES all sovereign experiences and the Believer COOPERATES with them. Mix the two, crisscross them, and this can lead to some real doctrinal confusion and counter-productive measures.

• It's All About God's Sovereignty

The critical issue with operating in the supernatural is: who is initiating what or who is "willing" what? Teaching Believers that by following certain steps, teachings, formulas, and/or merely exercising their own human wills, they can duplicate any sovereign supernatural experience – is dangerous and unscriptural.

One cannot go to Heaven like Paul or be transported physically like Phillip simply because they want to or because they feel like it (at will). Teachings like this often crossover into dangerous methods and techniques that resemble New Age, Mysticism, Spiritism or other occult manipulative practices. A Believer cannot and must not force, manipulate, or otherwise attempt to reproduce a sovereign supernatural Bible experience by merely following a method, a series of steps, or worst of all "willing it" to happen.

Whether we are discussing being translated in the spirit or transported physically, or any supernatural sovereign experience we read about in the Bible, the critical difference between whether it is God or not is who "willed" it to happen: Was it you or was it God? If you willed it to happen it ceases to be a sovereign, God ordained, supernatural, Bible experience, and you risk experiencing a counterfeit.

It is Time to Dust Off Your Bible!

Picture in your mind, if you will, the image of an unused, dust-covered Bible. Now picture in your mind that this same dust-covered Bible is your Bible! This is not a good image to be sure, especially for a Bible-believing Christian in 2011. Sadly, many Christians now read more books about the Bible then they do the Bible itself.

Consequently, many in the Church have gradually and somewhat unknowingly, become Biblically ignorant, unaware or stunted. And doctrinally speaking, anything goes. There is now wide-spread acceptance of "marginal to heretical" doctrines. Just 25 years ago individuals would have been thrown out of the Church if caught teaching these heresies. How did this happen?

Simply, we have become Biblically ignorant. We have not been diligent to feed on the unadulterated Word of God. We are at best malnourished, and in some cases, starving to death. Biblical ignorance is on the increase in the Church, even to epidemic levels! Like any form of "lack" created by ignorance which can lead to sickness, only the proper "intake," or in these cases, only proper Biblical education can remedy it.

Warning: We Live in an Age of "Anything Goes" Theology! The Charismatic Church is in Big Trouble!

So, here is my 2011 prophetic "prescription" for this beautiful but Biblically challenged, even unhealthy, Bride.

1. Orthodoxy! I would like to prescribe a good healthy dose of the written Word of God, the Bible. The Church needs an immediate injection of the truth! We must all pray for the Church to return to the orthodoxy (traditional belief) of Scripture. This means a return to the proper reading, INTERPRETATION, and application of the Bible in our lives. There is a growing trend toward some really bad doctrine out there. And we, the Church, must put a stop to it! If we don't, no one else will! The Church must begin to police herself against unorthodox (false) teaching and bizarre practices. You must reaquaint yourself with the Scriptures and know your Bible.

In 40 years of serving God, I have not heard so much bad doctrine preached from so-called "Bible-believing" Christians – specifically charismatic Christians.

2. Berea! We must pray for a "Berean Revival" in the Church – a revival which returns us all to our roots – our roots in the Word of God. In the Bible, the original Bereans were Believers who "searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things be so." There is a lot of doctrine currently in circulation in the charismatic Church that is highly questionable – even heretical.

Each Believer must begin to "search the Scriptures" for himself to discover whether what he is believing is Biblical or not (Acts 17:11). Stop unequivocally trusting ministers and their pulpits to always and completely preach the truth – some do, some do not. You need to search and know the Scriptures for yourself. If their teachings sound too good to be true – they very well may be! Know your Bible.

3. Preach the Word! (2 Timothy 4:2). It is time for the Church to return to her basic Bible beliefs (fundamental doctrines) and the core values these fundamental doctrines produce. Peripheral doctrines or beliefs are peripheral for a reason, and can lead to dangerous theologically positions and questionable practices. We must stop extracting obscure, vague, single, solitary verses out of context, and stop trying to make major "sound" doctrines out of them.

This "stretching of the truth" must stop. Some of our so-called "proof texts" do not prove what's being preached at all. We are "twisting the Scriptures to our own destruction." We must again major in major doctrine and minor in the minor ones. My prophetic word to all Pastors/Teachers for 2011 is simple: "Preach the Word!" Know your Bible.

Some examples of current doctrine circulating in the Church: You must believe me that I am NOT making this stuff up!

DOCTRINES of CONCERN:

• Open Theism: Teaches God is Not Sovereign = BAD DOCTRINE

Teaches that God does not always know the outcome of earthly events when man is involved – that man can actually catch God "off guard," surprise Him, and alter His will. For example, it teaches that God did not know Adam was going to sin. Yet there are numerous verses that clearly teach God is sovereign and knew exactly what was going to happen and when it was going to happen. If God did not know that Adam was going to sin, then why was the Lamb slain from before the foundations of the world? (1 Peter 1:18-20). Additional proof texts: Ephesians 1:4, Psalm 139:4, Psalm 139:16, Isaiah 46:10, Ecclesiastes 3:11, 1 John 3:20, John 21:17.

If God is not omniscient, then He is not sovereign. If He is not sovereign, then He is not God. God is all-knowing: past, present, and future. Open theism is a dangerous teaching that under-mines the sovereignty, majesty, infinitude, knowledge, existence, and glory of God and exalts the nature and condition of man's own free will. A god of open theism is not as knowledgeable or as ever-present as the true God of the Bible.

• Ultimate Reconciliation/Restitution of All Things = BAD DOCTRINE

Teaches that Hell will one day be emptied, that all of mankind (saved and unsaved) will live together eternally in Heaven, regardless of their actions while they lived on earth. This is an old heresy that pops up every fifty years or so. There is no Biblical basis for this very dangerous doctrine.

• The "Nefilin" Children Alive on Earth = BAD DOCTRINE

Teaches that there are currently living beings on the earth who are the distant offspring of the original "giants" conceived by angels and women mentioned in the book of Genesis. This is pure speculation. Recent books on the subject have caught our attention, but this topic was never supposed to be a major Bible doctrine. Some authors have taken extreme liberty and license to write about it. Again, it is pure speculation and could serve as a distraction from more important issues in the Church.

• Open Heaven/Spiritual Portals = BAD DOCTRINE

Teaches that we, as Christians, should be asking God to "rend the heavens" and open them to us so we can experience God's power and presence. Actually, this is totally unnecessary since God, through Jesus Christ, has already fully opened the heavens to each and every Believer. Every Believer has been walking under the "Open Heaven" atmosphere from the moment they were born again. Hebrews calls it the "Throne of Grace" (Hebrews 4:16). This "Throne of Grace" in Heaven is already open and available 24/7 – to all Believers who access it in the name of Jesus. How? By faith.

• Third Heaven Experiences At Will = BAD DOCTRINE

• Going to Heaven At Will to Get Your Gifts = BAD DOCTRINE

There is no Biblical record of any Believer having to go to Heaven to get any gift. This is a totally unnecessary spiritual exercise. The three listings of gifts in Romans, 1 Corinthians and Ephesians have all been in the Church for over two thousand years. They are not in Heaven, so why go there to get them? The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have each deposited Their respective gifts in the Church here on earth. For 2,000 years, Christians have been receiving here ON EARTH from this great deposit of gifts. "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, ON EARTH, as it is in Heaven." Amen!

• Cloud of Witnesses/Dead Saints = BAD DOCTRINE

Teaches that Christians should expect the intervention of dead saints in our daily lives. This entire deception is based on a terribly irresponsible interpretation of a single obscure verse in Hebrews 12:1. We do not need dead saints intervening in our lives. We have Jesus as our Mediator, the ONLY Mediator we need between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and He is not dead. He is alive! Necromancy, that is communication with the dead (any dead), is forbidden in Scripture.

• Traveling in Time At Will = BAD DOCTRINE

I have been unable to find this in the Bible. Let alone doing it "at will."

• Transporting Physically At Will = BAD DOCTRINE

• Over-Emphasis on Angels and Specifically Arc-Angels = BAD DOCTRINE

Yes, they are real. But an angelic visitation is a rare and precious event. Most Christians will never have an encounter with one. And it is extremely unlikely that a Christian will be visited by an arc angel. Michael and Gabriel were given specific, significant, world-changing tasks in the Scriptures. It is likely that they have more important things to do than to drop by your house for a visit!

• Going into Trances At Will = BAD DOCTRINE

• Trance Dancing = BAD DOCTRINE

I have been unable to find this in the Bible.

• Going to Hell to Discern Evil Spirits = BAD DOCTRINE

No one in the Bible ever had to go to Hell to discern a spirit. Why should we?

• Hyper-Grace: Christians Do Not Need to Repent of Sin = BAD DOCTRINE

The only Biblical response for sin is ALWAYS repentance for both the sinner and the saved. How else can a Believer be accountable for his sin except to repent of it? No form of grace removes the Believer's responsibility to repent for his sin.

• Quick Restoration of Fallen Church Leaders = BAD DOCTRINE

Why should a fallen leader necessarily be restored back to his ministry, especially after numerous failures over the space of years? Sometimes fallen leaders should not be restored back to ministry at all, but back to finding a secular job, loving their spouse, and raising their kids. However, if it is decided that a fallen leader be restored back to his ministry, I am not against restoring that leader. I am however against restoring that leader too quickly.

• Divorce Among Christians without Consequences = BAD DOCTRINE

All of us are aware of the terrible increase of divorce among Christians. Yet, what troubles me more is the lack of consequences from these divorces. Covenant is very important to God. Divorce is not God's best. Breaking the marriage covenant is a serious issue. Yet many Christians, and even ministers, never miss a step. One day they divorce and soon after they are back in the pulpit and/or often in a new marriage.

• The Bible Contains Cultural and Gender Biases = BAD DOCTRINE

No, it does not! I've actually been told by pastors that they have made decisions to counter the various biases that they perceive in the Bible. I was stunned! How can the Bible be inerrant, infallible, and contain biases and/or prejudices at the same time? It cannot! But some preach this from their pulpits, misrepresenting God's Word, the Bible.

4. Seducing Spirits! (1 Timothy 4:1-4). There has been loosed on the Church for 2,000 years a literal army of demons whose sole task is to deceive the Church! Unfortunately, these deceiving, seducing spirits are enjoying some of their most successful efforts. Why?

The average Believer does not know His Bible. The Bible is absolute truth, forever settled in Heaven. It is our sword of the Spirit – two-edged and deadly. To be Bible-ignorant is to have no offensive weapon against our enemy satan. Our ONLY defense against our enemy is a proven offense. And our proven offense against this hoard of demons is the written Word of God, the Bible. Jesus wielded this same written Word-sword against satan in the wilderness with great results. So should you!

I hear the Church saying again, "DEVIL, IT IS WRITTEN!" It does not matter what you think, feel, sense, or even believe. It does not matter what experience you claim to have had, or how many trips to Heaven you claim to have made, or how many angels you know on a first name basis. The only thing that matters is what God said in His Word. Know your Bible.

5. The Devourer! (Malachi 3:11). WARNING: All non-tithing Believers are going to fall victim to a spirit called the "Devourer" unless they return to a systematic lifestyle of financial giving that the Bible calls tithes and offerings! This demonic entity, an actual living thing, will attach itself to the finances of any non-tithing Believer. However, for all faithful tithing Believers the results will be the opposite: God will rebuke this devourer for their sake, and they will enjoy the "open windows of Heaven" lifestyle promised for all who do not "rob" God. They will be a "blessed land" with showers of financial provision from above! Know your Bible.

6. Divorce! Some Believers will suffer the consequences of unwisely entering into unscriptural divorces. These divorces of convenience have angered God, bringing Him to place judgments upon some ministers and their ministries. We need to be reminded that God hates divorce. Know your Bible.

7. Deception! Many will willingly and increasingly enter into incorrect thinking. Hardcore deception will find a home in the Church in 2011 if we are not diligent to know and follow the Word of God. Remember these words from Scripture: "Be not deceived!" This is a command, and the responsibility of all Bible-believing Believers. Notice that deception is a choice! We must choose not to be deceived in 2011. How? Know your Bible!

8. Prophets! As a Prophet, Jesus Christ enjoyed only a very brief season of popularity, followed by His crucifixion as a falsely convicted criminal. Many prophets will suffer the same fate in 2011. I fear that the season of popularity for many prophets is over. As James wrote, "As an example of SUFFERING, take the prophets." Know your Bible.

9. Underground! An exciting and even more powerful supernatural "underground Church" will emerge in 2011. The true Church is much smaller than many think it is. And true apostles and prophets will emerge within this true underground Church. Essentially, a nameless and faceless core, these foundational ministries will re-direct their efforts away from their so called networks, and will devote themselves to returning to the local Church level where their greatest effect and spiritual impact on the Body of Christ will be realized. Know your Bible.

10. Prize! God gave me this verse for literally every Believer worldwide for 2011. "I press toward the goal (in 2011) for the PRIZE of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Remember that you have been apprehended by God, for God. Let's all forget about those things that are behind, and reach forward (in 2011) for those things which are ahead. There is an eternal prize awaiting you! Know your Bible.

11. Pearl! Jesus Christ is the Pearl of great price. He is your ultimate reward for 2011. He is your Master and you serve Him and Him alone for 2011! Make 2011 the year in which you live for Him again without reservation. It is time to sell everything (figuratively speaking) and purchase that Pearl of great price in 2011 and beyond! Amen! Know your Bible.

THE FUTURE OF THE MIDDLE EAST IN BIBLE PROPHECY

Dear Joshua Family Subscribers:

Today, I wanted to share with you a very important teaching on The Future of the Middle East in Bible Prophecy, which is on the three upcoming wars that are soon to take place involving Israel and the nations. Because, there is so much controversy these days on end time Bible Prophecy, I thought that this teaching would bring some clarity, and make for a good discussion here on our weblog.

From what I see in the scriptures concerning the end times and Israel, this seems to be some of the best condensed teaching that I have seen for quite sometime. But note, that this is only a summary of the things to come according to the Prophets of the Bible, and may not include everything, although it contains alot of what you need to know. This makes it easier to understand for the everyday person who would like to learn more about end time events and Bible Prophecy.

The Future of the Middle East in Bible Prophecy

(On The Three Wars that are soon to take place)

The Holy Bible is the only “holy book” in existence that predicts the future with 100% accuracy. The prophetic writings in the Bible are extraordinary in both their breadth and detail. The most detailed prophecies concern the nations of the Middle East during the period known as “The Day of the Lord”. God takes time in lengthy passages of scripture to tell the judgments He will inflict on the nations that reject the nation of Israel in the very last period of time before the coming of Messiah to establish His 1000 year Kingdom on the earth.

Because there is so much confusion and contradiction in much of the teaching of Bible prophecy, I want to write a concise and brief summary of what the prophets of scripture say about the Middle East nations. These events are rapidly approaching and could be right on our doorsteps at any moment, should the Lord decide to lift His withholding grace and allow these judgments to come immediately.

There are three wars that will soon take place in the Middle East. Each one is progressive and becomes larger in scope, until the entire world and every nation participates in the last battle:

1. THE FIRST WAR involves the Arab nations immediately surrounding the nation of Israel. The Bible seems to indicate that these nations will be destroyed with weapons of mass destruction. This will involve the judgment of God against militant Islam directly surrounding Israel, which is referred to as the house of Esau in several places. According to the Bible, the nations directly surrounding Israel will be destroyed in such a way that they are uninhabitable. This war will result in an impassable ring of destroyed countries to the south and east of Israel.

The nations destroyed are: Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and part of Saudi Arabia. These areas of land will become totally impassable because of the use of nuclear weapons and/or biological and chemical weapons. The soil of these regions becomes so poisoned that nothing can live or grow there. The area of ancient Idumea (Edom) will be on fire like Kuwait was in the Gulf War of 1991.

2. THE SECOND WAR is described in detail in Ezekiel chapters 38-39 primarily, although there are other passages that refer to it also. In Ezekiel chapters 36-37, he foretells the rebirth of the nation of Israel. Then, before the Kingdom Age, when the Messiah Yeshua will reign in His magnificent temple in Jerusalem, this horrific battle is predicted in much detail. This was written 2,600 years ago. Ezekiel lists a confederacy of nations, which include Turkey, Iran, Libya, Ethiopia, parts of Eastern Europe, and other unnamed nations.

Something strange appears immediately when you look this list. The prophet fails to mention the nations directly bordering Israel! These countries are Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, “Palestine” (not really a nation), and Syria. The reason these nations are not mentioned is that they were all destroyed in the first war. The remaining nations invade Israel from the only possible way in this war: from the north. The destruction from this war is much greater in scope than the first. The destruction of the countries of the first war may be one reason for this second battle. Most likely, it is retaliation for it against Israel.

Ezekiel identifies Russia as the chief antagonist against Israel in this war. Russia has a long history of hating and persecuting the Jewish people. With the pogroms starting in 1881, untold numbers of Jews died at the hands of the Russians. Russian Jews were the first to return to Israel in the 1880’s, leaving because of this horrible persecution. This second war is often called the war of Gog and Magog. Gog is a title of the leader of Russia at this time, meaning “chief prince” or “president”. The geographic region is called “the land of the north”; the land of Magog, Meshech, and Tubal.

This precisely identifies modern Russia through its’ ancient tribal ancestors as well as geographically. But, the nation of Russia is not alone in this invasion of the mountains of Israel from the north. Ezekiel identifies the confederation of nations that will join to attack Israel, as mentioned above. Persia is the actual Biblical name for modern-day Iran. That is the name the Bible gives as joining this attack. The bible refers to Ethiopia as the land south of Egypt. Today this would include the nations of the Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia. The Sudan and Somalia are both Islamic nations.

Sudan is identified as a terrorist state and hates Israel. Ethiopia has a large Muslim population of about 30%. Sudan and Somalia are a natural fit in current events with Russia in a confederated Muslim attack. In the Bible, ancient Libya encompasses all the land west of Egypt. This would include the nations of Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. ALL of these nations are Islamic. Russia supplies Libya with weapons. Ezekiel identified Togarmah as a country north of Israel. This is modern-day Turkey, which is nearly 100% Muslim. For this to happen, Turkey must line up with Russia.

Finally, the name Gomer is mentioned as taking part also. This is not as clearly defined. It could be Germany and/or some other nations in Eastern Europe. Currently, the United States is preventing such a war from happening. For this battle to happen, the United States has to be weakened or eliminated from the Middle East. NATO has to be weakened by Turkey forming an alliance with Russia. Very recently, with the event of the Flotilla, Turkey became extremely cold in its’ diplomatic relations to Israel, and unanimously condemned Israel in its’ government. Could this be a precursor of their coming turn towards “the land of the north”? Russia becomes the dominant force in a vacuum created by the absence of America.

For this war to happen, something disastrous needs to happen in the future to the United States. Even though the Soviet Union has collapsed, the Russian army is still large and well equipped. This confederation led by Russia is enormous, for the army will cover the land like a cloud. Perhaps all the remaining Islamic nations not mentioned by the prophet Ezekiel join in this attack. According to scripture, God destroys this entire invasion miraculously. God reacts in His wrath with a combination of natural disasters with perfect timing to destroy this army.

The Russian army invades and swarms over the mountains of Israel to the north. God waits until they actually come into the covenant land and totally wipes them out supernaturally on those very mountains. The whole world then witnesses the Holy God of Israel and is forced to recognize that He was the one who destroyed this army and not human effort. A great revival takes place in Israel, as they now begin to recognize Yeshua as the true Messiah and turn to Him in great numbers. All of this is predicted in the scriptures.

3. THE THIRD WAR involves every remaining nation on earth. It is called Armageddon. This is the final battle between God and evil before the coming of Yeshua the Messiah to rule and reign on the earth. In this battle, God supernaturally intervenes and destroys the largest fielded army in history. This battle ends man’s corrupt and sinful rule over the nations. Armageddon is the third and final attempt to destroy Israel and take Jerusalem. Armageddon means Mount Megiddo, which is about seventy miles north of Jerusalem. Mount Megiddo is at the southern edge of the Esdraelon Valley, also called the plain of Megiddo.

This is a huge valley that runs from southeast to the northwest, right at Mount Megiddo in Israel. The valley is the center of the final battle. The mountains of Israel start at the southern edge of this valley. The taking of Jerusalem is the objective of the final war. After the defeat of Russia and its confederation, the remaining nations converge on Israel. God uses Jerusalem as a lure, and the people in rebellion against Him literally come by several hundred million. All of man’s rebellion against God culminates in this battle over Jerusalem.

During the previous battles, there is no indication from the scriptures that the armies overrun Jerusalem. In this final battle, a vast army invades the Middle East from Asia. All of Asia is at this battle, along with the other nations of the world. The apostle John states in the book of Revelation that this army from Asia numbers two hundred million. This army will cross the dried up Euphrates river, but before it does, it spreads into other nations and kills a third of mankind that is still alive at this time. Like the previous battle of Magog, this army meets its doom on the mountains of Israel.

The ring of fire is still around Israel, and the only way to attack is from the north. This massive army fills the Valley of Megiddo and then reaches all the way to Jerusalem. This army nearly destroys Israel and Jerusalem, but God stops it when it reaches Jerusalem. The Lord Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ’s) direct intervention stops this army. This is the moment of His awesome second coming. He personally destroys the armies gathered for Armageddon and defends His covenant land and people.

According to the prophet Zechariah, the Lord Yeshua stands in Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives. There is an enormous earthquake that splits this mountain. He is in His full glory. It is the presence of the Messiah Yeshua in His glory that destroys this invading army. God’s glory affects human flesh like a neutron bomb. The nation of Israel receives and welcomes the only true Messiah Yeshua and turns to Him. Then it goes into deep mourning with true repentance. Israel is finally reunited with their one and only Messiah: Yeshua – Jesus. At this time, He begins His Messianic reign for 1,000 years of peace, joy, and perfection – heaven on earth!

This is a brief synopsis of coming wars on the earth that are centered in the Middle East as recorded in Bible prophecy. I pray that you, dear reader, will be ready - for He is coming soon to take His bride – the overcoming church - home to be with Him in heaven. You do not have to remain upon the earth during this terrible time of judgment – give your heart to the Lord Yeshua, repent and live for Him and not self and sin.

Yeshua will first come to meet us in the air and take us to heaven in an event that “catches away” the believers all over the earth in one, sudden, micro-second of time. We will be gone! Then these terrible judgments will overtake the whole earth, as recorded in the prophets and the book of Revelation. Beloved, there is still time, but it is running out quickly! Make things right between you and the Lord! This message written here is a warning from heaven. Do not neglect your relationship with the Lord any longer! I do not want to see you, dear reader, left behind.

Tonight, I wanted to share with you some of the most recent prophetic words that i could locate from Wendy Alec, along with some related excerpts from the "Journal of the Unknown Prophet," http://www.unknownprophet.com/ which is a prophetic book that Wendy wrote, and had published back five years ago. (in 2005)

MORE ABOUT THE BOOK: It was back in Nov. of 1999 during a period of ten days, when Wendy Alec had a visitation from the Lord Jesus, where He warned her of the things to come. He spoke both of Judgement and Mercy... He spoke to her regarding the trading systems of the world, concerning Ministry leaders and the Body of Christ, (who is the Church) During this on-going visitation Jesus wept.

Then, in two other experiences that Wendy had with the Lord in 2002, He spoke with deep anguish of the last day assignments that were to come against His elect. He warned of a great spiritual blindness that was coming...of the seductions of Jezebel, and a great falling away that would take place.

- LAST DAYS' ASSIGNMENTS AGAINST THE ELECT -

"My children perish." Jesus' voice was soft-so soft that it was barely audible. And then He turned to me, His beautiful countenance ravaged with grief. And as He looked at me, His expression became fierce with an anger that almost became terrible with the heat of His emotion-but all at once somehow I knew that none of His hot anger was directed towards His children.

Oh, yes, as He looked upon His household, He saw many stumbling and faltering in the fierce onslaughts, and He grieved terribly for us. But no, His anger burned hot against the hosts of hell and satanic princes that He saw lined up in the spiritual realm, meticulously rehearsed in their strategies and their wiles.

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, he is taken away in and for his perversity and iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

So you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear the word at My mouth and give them warning from Me. When I say, O wicked man, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his perversity and iniquity, but his blood will I require at your hand.

And suddenly it was as though a heavy, heavenly veil was drawn back in the Spirit realm, and I saw the satanic princes in their battle dress standing in their chariots, directing the great mass of hellish battalions and powers and principalities-and they were standing as a great and seemingly fearsome mass in a line that stretched to eternity, waiting.

And then a great shofar was sounded, and the fallen satanic princes and generals took their places in front of the battalions, as the great rumbling of Satan's chariots thundered. And all as one, they bowed their heads-as the prince of darkness made his entrance.

And as he stood there-all terrible in his damnable arrogance and rebellion-he lifted his sword high to the heavenlies, and again, as one man, I saw the princes and their battalions follow suit, and I heard Lucifer's spine-chilling cry: "It is TIME!"

And the hordes of hell resounded with a great and terrible cry: "It is TIME." And as Lucifer turned to his fallen princes, I could hear his malicious hiss: "IT IS TIME TO TARGET THE CHAMPIONS."

And immediately it was as though I was back under the trees on the beautiful English lawn in front of the manor house where Jesus was standing-His countenance filled with such beauty, such grace-but His eyes seemed filled with a deep and unstoppable pain. He reached out His hand to me: "It has begun," He said.

I could hardly decipher His words, such was His anguish that it was as though He was choking with grief: "My children are falling. It has begun."

And still I could hardly make out His words for the great emotion that came from Him, and the tears could not keep from falling down His cheeks as He came toward me: "The targeting of the champions-My Father's champions here on Earth.

The hosts of hell have been assigned for the past decades waiting for this hellish moment in the spirit realm, listening for the release of My End-Time move from Heaven. They have heard the mighty rush of My holy angels, and so in turn they have unleashed the most violent satanic assault that

Earth has yet seen since the days of My birth when Satan's wrath was unleashed through Herod against the babes in arms in a huge murderous onslaught."

I stared at Him transfixed. And again a terrible grieving filled His countenance. "My children, My generals, My leaders, My priests..."

His voice was barely audible. I could almost feel His agony, for indeed as He thought of you and me, He was suffering for us. "The champions of My Father's household think they are prepared. Some do not fear the enemy..." He hesitated.

"And that is good and right, but they also do not fear the Father. They rely on their own strength, on their own integrity, on their own valor." He looked unwaveringly into my eyes.

"It is hard for My Father to reach these, for they are blinded by their own deceptions and will easily be overcome by the battalions you just glimpsed. For many will succumb to the snare of the great deceiver of their souls-pride. But My grieving at this moment is not for them.

"My Father loves His children." He looked at me. "You cannot yet understand with what tremendous passion and compassion the Father holds for His redeemed ones. They are His greatest treasures in the universe. He delights in His children. He longs for their fellowship-for their communion with Him.

The Father does not base His love for His household on their gifting or talent or on those who in the world's eyes have so much to offer. But He has delighted to choose the foolish things of the Earth, for in His great and unfathomable wisdom He knew that those who realize that they are the most undeserving will be those who have fully embraced the fact that without His love they are completely unqualified.

"The Father knows that these are the ones who will lean their minds and hearts unquestionably on His Being-those who limp with the scars of his chastening and of their own inadequacy-those who know that within themselves there is no good thing except their hope in Him. These are His champions-and My daughter-these are the prime targets for the onslaught of the enemy that you have just seen."

"Many of those that the Father views as His greatest generals and champions have been assailed violently by assignments of the enemy. Each assignment is an assignment of seduction planned by Satan himself. The seducing powers and principalities have but one aim-to seduce My household away from Me and My Father.

"I am not talking about the new believers. I am not talking about the immature or even the young men. I am talking about My leaders, My generals, My priests, those who are well versed in Me.

Those who have seen terrible battles, those who have fought with Me in the dark places of the Earth, those who have led thousands upon thousands to Me across the nations, those who have built great churches, those who have brought in generational moves.

I am talking about the apostles, the prophets, the pastors, the teachers, the evangelists. And I tell you, My daughter-a great and terrible coldness has been unleashed-a coldness of heart that will imbue and infect even some of My champions' spirits.

"And so brother shall rise up against brother, minister against minister, sons against fathers, husbands against wives, and the great falling away shall begin, but it shall begin in My own household." He was quiet. "And it shall start with those who have been closest to Us."

A great and terrible chill went through my body. "Jesus," I whispered. "How can we survive such an onslaught?"

"The major End-Time assaults are divided into several camps. They are all ruthless strategies of Jezebel, the ultimate seducer and the releaser of the End-Time seducing spirits.

The first major seduction of My children will be in the area of morality-the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, but seduction is not just confined to My children's morality. Satan's primary goal is to seduce My children away from the Father.

"One of Satan's most lethal weapons against My ministers is another of Jezebel's strongholds-the pride of life, pride and self-righteousness. Jezebel's third great onslaught will be in the area of discouragement.

This is the same weapon used against My servant Elijah, and indeed, many of My servants throughout the ages. Great discouragement, in turn, leading to strong delusion and finally, that of the great blinding."

"The great blinding is a blinding of My children's hearts and of their minds that has caused them to dwell in and to live for all that which is the temporal-instead of that which is eternal.

"The world has been caught up in the great blinding to such a degree that they cannot see beyond that which they can see and touch and sense. The spirit of the world has them in its grasp, and the love of the Father is not in them.

I have grieved as I have watched My saints fall prey to this same spirit. As the spirit of the world has entangled them, their minds and hearts have become blinded with the deceptions of all that is temporal. They have started to live and to desire that which brings the reward and the praise of man in the kingdom of Earth.

"But My Kingdom is not of this world, My child. And how I grieve, for few there are today that truly know and understand this saying. For the ways of My Kingdom are foolish to the temporal world, and so it is that in this last age many of My servants have been seduced by the spirit of the world and have suffered a great and terrible blinding.

For they live more- Oh far more for what is counted and recorded in the books of man and of Earth than for that which is recorded in the books of Heaven. And that which is recorded and that counts for so much on Earth counts often for so little in My courts. For so many of My children still live for the praises and accolades and the rewards of men.

"So many of My ministers still live for that which Heaven counts as hay and as wood and what shall be burnt up in an instant as stubble when they stand before My judgment seat.

"And so I grieve with a great grieving-for My children spend their resources and the resources of My Kingdom on that which is seen and that lasts but for a moment-but eternity is built on the unseen and on the souls of men and of women.

For they have been blinded with a great and terrible blinding-a blinding by the spirit of the world-but the world will perish and will pass away, but he who does the will and the purposes of My Father shall live forever."

"I have watched as some of My children have fallen morally. But My anger has been stirred as I have seen some of My ministers-those of My own household-turn, and in their closets, pat themselves on the back and say like the Pharisees: ‘Thank You, Lord, I am not like they. I am glad I am not as they, for they are weak, and surely I am strong and would never do such a thing that would make My Master ashamed.'

And I tell you, My child," and He was greatly pained, "I tell you that I have seen My children-these My ministers-sit in their homes and at their church banquets, gossiping about these fallen ones. I have seen them expose their sin, expose their nakedness and say: ‘This is a terrible damage to the Gospel'-as if in shock and as in horror-but these have themselves fallen victim to the pride of life. And I am grieved with a great grieving.

"For indeed pride says, ‘It is by my own hand and by my own sufficiency that I keep the law.' And self-righteousness despises the weaker and encourages itself in its own strength to keep. But I tell you that in these coming days, all that is not rooted in dependence upon Me and My Father and upon My grace shall fall. And even as Satan fell, so I grieve for some of My called-out ones.

For they lean on their own understanding, they lean on their own integrity, they lean on their own morality, they lean on their own proficiency and they pride themselves that they are not weak like other men. But I tell you that even as Satan fell from beholding himself as greater, so many of these, My elect, shall fall from beholding themselves instead of beholding Me.

"And so when pride takes root in some of My servants, with it shall come a deadly self-righteousness and a critical, denigrating spirit as they compare themselves to others, and they shall see the faults and the failings and the specks in their companions' and their colleagues' and their leaders' eyes, and yet they shall completely ignore the beam in their own. And the terrible coldness talked about in My Word shall grip their hearts, and they shall not even realize that they have fallen away, for they shall be so sure of themselves and their boasting in Me.

You hypocrite, first get the beam of timber out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the particle out of your brother's eye. Matthew 7:5, amp

"Tell My ministers to check their hearts, lest Satan seduce them away from their childlike trust and dependence on Me."

"Even in the generation that preceded this present Church Age, some of My greatest servants succumbed to discouragement, and this led in turn to strong delusion. The enemy will do his utmost at this time to discourage and impede and roadblock My purposes and My plans. And to those whose limbs grow too weary, whose hearts grow faint with weariness, he will start to cloud their vision." Jesus' tone was urgent.

"And visions that were birthed in power and in clarity and in the vigor of the Holy Spirit will seem to become clouded. Legions of satanic voices have been unleashed, and the voice of the enemy will whisper doubt and confusion and unbelief to the weary soul. If seriously entertained, these satanic whisperings shall gain a foothold in the hearts and minds of some of My servants, and they shall think to themselves: I have sowed and there is no reaping. There is no harvest. I have labored for nought, for the fruit is so little.

"So know, My child, to warn My servants that when they hear these voices, to immediately discard them, not even to entertain such a train of thought, for it is a train of thought carefully strategized by the legions of the damned with intent to discourage and to delude even the elect. For these voices will question My faithfulness. These voices will question My Word. These voices have one intent, to seduce My children away from My Father.

"When Elijah ran from Jezebel in the wilderness, he had just slain all the prophets of Baal with the sword. He had seen My mighty hand of deliverance. But on receiving Jezebel's message, he ran for his life. And in these times, many of My servants who are mightily called and anointed by Me for the work in My End-Time moves have received a message from this same spirit of Jezebel that was at work against My prophet Elijah. And that message is the same today as it was then: ‘So let the gods do to me, and more also if I make not your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow.'

"And so My servants who have become weary of the battle and of standing against the darkness and warring in the high places of the Earth have become afraid and arisen and have run for their lives and cried out to Me as Elijah did: ‘It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life.'"

Jesus sighed, but His sigh was not of exasperation, but filled with a deep concern and compassion

"My Father and I have heard the cry of Our servants. My body has not understood the depth of discouragement which has gripped their souls." He hesitated.

"I have watched from Heaven as some of My servants became weary in well-doing, and because of the tremendous opposition and discouragements of the soul, they fell to discouragement, pride and eventually to strong delusions."

I could feel the Lord's hurt. "I have loved these men. They loved Me for many, many years with a pure heart, but they fell into Jezebel's snare and were deceived.

"Many of My servants today face the same pitfalls. Many have served Us day by day in the hidden places of service, unseen by man but known of Me. Many of them have poured out their lives and their substance for the sake of the Gospel and for My Kingdom, but they have seen little fruit. Some have done mighty exploits, some have faithfully served day by day. But many, so many, have become weary and are ready to faint.

"For Jezebel has sent her message to them saying: ‘I will make your life as one of them (slain by the sword tomorrow).' And so the Father of Lies has sown seeds of deception in My servants' souls-questioning their faithfulness, questioning My protection-that My servants have began to doubt My very hand upon their lives. And they have become depressed and dismayed and lost their purpose that once was so clear, and like Elijah, they cry out: ‘And I only, I am left, and the enemy seeks my life to take it away.'

"Many of these ones in the past years have given themselves to activity rather than to intimate fellowship with Me. It is essential that in this season that they take time out and draw aside to Me in intimacy in My presence so that they can find refreshing.

"This assignment is far more deadly to those who are called to do as Martha than those who sit like Mary. Many of these have great administrative gifts; they are ably equipped to do, they are equipped to run ministries, equipped to run churches, equipped to run businesses. Others have become so caught up in the activity of ministering to others that they have been caught up in the activity of serving and have lost intimacy with Me and have become depleted.

"The more intensely discouraged that My servants become, the more they have leaned on natural, carnal methods to change their circumstance and have become spiritually depleted. This discouragement in turn has kept them away from My face and My presence where they would find My supernatural encouragement, strength, fortitude and divine strategy to unlock their circumstances.

"Tell them they must draw unto Me. I am their lifegiver. I am their encourager. I am their anchor. I am their sustenance. That I would allure these My children to Myself and gently, as My angel spoke to Elijah, say: Child, arise and eat. Draw aside and replenish yourself. Guard your minds and hearts from the father of all lies and deceiver of your souls."

The woman was robed in purple and scarlet and bedecked with gold, precious stones, and pearls, [and she was] holding in her hand a golden cup full of the accursed offenses and the filth of her lewdness and vice. And on her forehead there was inscribed a name of mystery [with a secret symbolic meaning]: Babylon the great, the mother of prostitutes (idolatresses) and of the filth and atrocities and abominations of the earth. I also saw that the woman was drunk, [drunk] with the blood of the saints (God's people) and the blood of the martyrs [who witnessed] for Jesus. And when I saw her, I was utterly amazed and wondered greatly.

"This assignment is more easily discerned but far more lethal in its
outward consequences, for it devours its prey. The intense seduction
lures My children into the enticement of sin but eventually leaves them
stripped of their ministry, calling, reputation and sometimes even their
relationship with Myself and the Father and their eternal salvation." He
sighed deeply.

"The Father knows that these very ones were drawn to Him because they
knew the very weakness of their own souls-like the woman whose story I
promised would be told eternally."

I spoke. "The woman who washed your feet?"

Jesus smiled tenderly. "Those who have been forgiven much love much. In
this last generation many came to Us from the greatest ensnarements and
bondages. Once they saw Our great love for them, they became Our
greatest champions and bondservants, for their gratitude for receiving
such a redemption was unfathomable.

"These are the ones who have become close and tender with Me-who would
follow Me unto death."

"But if they would follow you unto death, Lord Jesus-and they hear your
voice-then how could they fall to seducing spirits?" I asked, that chill
gripping me again, sensing the answer.

"Every weakness that these ones experienced in their lives..." His
expression was so grave, "...every fissure, each wound, each broken
place that lies unhealed-these satanic powers and principalities and
demons shall now target.

"Many, many of My children did not receive healing of their minds,
emotions and souls in this last generation. And because they have lived
in the household of God for years, many do not even realize that these
scarred places exist.

"These last days' assignments have been meticulously strategized, and
that is the very strength of their evil-they have been tailor-made to
each of My champions. They know the urgent, driving, unmet needs of the
soul:

the generational bondages of each individual called by Me to impact this
generation; the lack of nurturing; the deep unhealed rejections and
hurts of the emotions; the fatherlessness; the need for affirmation; the
desire to belong; the deep isolations-all of which when not met in
Me-now have laid the perfect snare for the assignments of the enemy.

"Some of My champions have experienced a violent, satanic assailing
against their minds. Any thought not taken captive shall be a thought
that can take violent root in their soul to lead to ensnarement.

Anything from their past that has been dealt with by their own strength
and not by My Spirit shall become a snare to them and can leave them
vulnerable to the enemy of their souls. Any habit not ruthlessly dealt
with and put to the cross, when assigned with the searing heat of
temptation, will breed and rapidly multiply."

Jesus continued, "In this past age Jezebel has translated itself into
many different forms, but one of her primary rules in this present age
is her amalgamation with Babylon, the spirit of the world and lust. Lust
of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Jezebel rules electronic media-film, television, advertising-she is the
epitome of seduction in this last age. She was Delilah, Salome,
Herodias. She rules pornography, adultery, lasciviousness,
homosexuality, pride, power, separation, divorce, ambition and every
perversion and sin of the flesh known to mankind. She tantalizes,
packages sin, sells it and then debases and exposes her victims before
killing. Her primary targets in this last Church Age are My ministers,
both men and women."

I felt the icy chill once more. Well I knew the depth of hatred Jezebel
holds for God's bondservants.

"Multitudes of My ministers today struggle with pornography. Multitudes
of My ministers struggle now with lust on a daily basis. Multitudes are
struggling against a terrible coldness of heart within their marriages
and families.

"Many came out of a deeply sinful lifestyle or out of deep-rooted
rejections, and as was the way in this past generation, far too many of
My children were not discipled effectively and did not receive effective
healing in the areas that propelled them into that habitual sin.

Also, especially among My leaders in this past generation, My Church has
been so embroiled in self-righteousness that if one of My children has
cried for help in an area of failure, many times they have been
ostracized, isolated and had their confidence betrayed.

This has led to My ministers leading double lives, having a public face
for their congregations whilst crying out to Me in their bedchambers
because they hate what they have become. Yet they know that many will
deal treacherously with them if they admit their need for help.

Jezebel knows this full well, and it is one of her most effective
strategies. For once the champion is isolated from real help, the
seducing spirits are unleashed, and time after time, My child falls into
adultery, fornication, homosexuality, pornography, separation and
divorce. And how I and My Father grieve. For well Lucifer knows that it
is often those who love us and who have hungered for Our presence who
have often been the most damaged in their past-and now Satan targets the
damaged places.

Warn them. Warn them to guard against the great deceiver of their souls.
For as Satan came to Me in the wilderness, he intends to do now to those
who follow Me, who lead others-to tempt-to lure-for in this most violent
of testings, even My most elect shall fall."

He hesitated, and a great pain seemed to cloud His countenance. And I
sensed that He was thinking about one whom I knew that He loved greatly
who had been caught even that month in a prevailing sin.

And I thought of the ones in this past year who had fallen in ways that
were still politically acceptable to us in the household of God-but my
thoughts were not with those‚ but rather with those, so many of late,
who had fallen morally-not acceptable-and who had lost or taken time out
from their ministries.

And as I looked into Jesus' eyes, I knew that these were the ones He
grieved for. For well He knew how they loved Him. In fact, some loved
Him more, much more than any others. And well He knew how they must have
wrestled in the still, quiet hours of the early morning against sin.

But because the assignments of hell had been so meticulously crafted and
because Lucifer knew so well that the politics of the Church so often
ensured isolation and silence in struggling with sin, one by one they
had fallen to the brokenness and fissures in their own souls.

And as He looked at me, I felt that suddenly I knew how He had looked
upon that rich young man. And so I prayed for all of us who had been
targeted by the enemy, to be assailed in this last End Time, that even
in the tumult and the fierce heat of the testings and trials and
temptations, we would draw on His strength that would take us through
the eye of the needle to that last lap of the narrow way that we may be
counted as conquerors.

"Lord Jesus, how can we stand?" I whispered.

"There is only one way to survive the onslaught, My child." His voice
was so soft. "Firstly, to repent of any and of all lukewarmness and
backsliding in your heart and to reignite and maintain zealously your
first love for Me. Secondly, to keep yourself from all idols and remain
fervent in the Spirit, which is the result of true fellowship in Spirit
and in truth with Myself and the Father and of feeding on My Word until
My Words are Spirit and Life to you." He hesitated, "And finally, the
cross.

The deception in every temptation is that which caused Adam to lead
billions of souls into sin-that of selfishness. Temptation promises that
which self desires. When My children desire the promises of sin more
than they desire Me-they will fall.

"The greatest weapon to survive the onslaught is for My children to take
up their cross and to follow Me. To take up the cross daily and to die
to everything in their souls and their mind that opposes My truth. To
let go of that lower life that is the flesh and continually mortify
their minds and bodies and to put to death the deeds of the flesh.

My children have forgotten the power of the cross. They have thought
that to die once is sufficient, but the spirit of the world, with its
carnality and selfishness, loosed upon this present generation is so
strong in these evil days-that it is only in a continual, daily
crucifying of their flesh that they will indeed be able to withstand
temptation.

"Remember it is written, ‘For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable
to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our
weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation,
but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without
sinning.'

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the
throne of grace...that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find
grace to help in good time for every need, [appropriate help and
well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. Hebrews 4:16, amp

"Even when you feel you are falling into the very pit of hell itself,
even when it seems as if you are clinging to Me and to My Father and to
My Word and its principles by a thread-when you feel that hell is
sucking you in-it is then that you must cry out to Me. Cry out to My
Father. Cry out Our name, and in that very second, We will come to you
and rescue you. We will draw you in and protect you from every wile of
the Evil One.

"I said I will never forsake you, and this is true. Even when you are in
the heat of temptation-still if you cry out to Me-I will hear you.

"Speak My Word, and I, the Living Word, will come to your aid and
accomplish that which I have promised.

"Now, warn My children. My Father's heart is grieved with a terrible
grieving. Warn My beloved-that many would be saved out of the fowler's
snare-that even those in the deepest mire might cry out to Me and find
their way home.

"Beloved children"-Jesus' voice was so tender, and somehow I knew that
He was speaking to all who had been ensnared who eventually would read
these words-"there is forgiveness, beloved. There is deliverance. There
is restoration." And then He turned and smiled-the smile of heaven that
seemed to light up the whole world in its wake. "THERE IS HOPE."

For the Lord would say-America-beloved America-you stand on the brink of a new season in Me. For I have heard the cries of those that hunger-of those that have fallen on their faces before Me seeking imploring Me for a move of My presence.

For an outpouring of My person and of My presence across the shores of America-and I tell you this day-that this hour dawns upon your shores-that the wind of My presence is stirring-that those who have longed to see this day shall yet see this move in their generation.

　
For where sin abounds-surely My grace abounds more abundantly. And because of the prayers of My saints in this nation, says the Lord God of Hosts, because of the fervent prayers and the supplications of a remnant in this nation, so My hand shall move across the United States of America for the great outpouring of My Holy Spirit that has yet to fall.

　
And so beloved I tell you that My presence shall fall from East to West from North to South-and Canada-yes surely Canada shall be a part of this revival says the Lord of Hosts. And yes-I have heard the cries of My people-

　
I have seen the repentance of the hearts of those of My people who have not let Me go day or night-and so I tell you this day that the prayers of the intercessors of this nation-the declarations of the prophets of this nation-have rent the heavens and have risen up before My throne like a sweet incense-an incense that burns fervently before My throne both day and night.

And so My children I am coming to this nation-oh My children I come quickly to this nation.
