The New Holiday Mini catalog has arrived and it is full of so many ideas-I am not sure where to begin. I know many of you have been waiting for this. Of course so have I. Now those creative juices can be let loose and I can do some serious creating.

This weekend I have nothing going on and I can get my creations together for the Fall and Holiday Craft fairs as well as ideas for my Holiday Stamp Camp. Yup-I will cram a lot into this weekend. So- do you NEED the New Mini-Contact me ASAP and I will get one out to you. Or you can just download one to your left here <—— if you can't wait. Super awesome ideas will be coming your way this month along with some ideas I feel I need to revisit. Like that Shadow box in white that needs to be seen. So-visit often and pass me on to other creative souls.

But, in the mean time, here is a paper Pumpkin to share from using 12 -6" strips of DSP and Card stock in all orange hues. I just love the way these look. I will probably post more in different sizes. They are fun and a difficulty of 2-3 depending on papers. I mixed it up by putting the DSP of in color Peach Parfait. To hold together I used 2 Flower Brads on opposite sides. Try making one with scraps that I KNOW you have laying around!

Ok-So I have had three months-technically four-to play with this set and we are into the last few days of availability. Waaaa. My post today is two ideas put forth for a group that I traveled three hours away for. We did an Easel card with the Black Magic technique. The colors are Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze and of course Black. This was my "fall" version. Oh and my stamper 6 ladies in Lake Geneva, this is one of the ideas we will making on Monday. I do like the look of Black Magic and will incorporate it into something Halloween. What's coming-FALL-it's my FAVORITE SEASON and I love practically all of the ideas in the New Holiday Mini. A Trio of Holiday Candles.

So, it was time to finish putting together the rest of my Holiday Candle display. The two tall candles each had the top ruined by a cute but very devious little 2 1/2 yr old. :0)

Here is the Tutorial for my second candle.

Sad Candle!

I am using Cherry Cobbler #119685-$6.95, Very Vanilla #101650 $8.50 (40 sheets) and Newsprint #117166-$9.95.

Multipurpose Liquid Glue #110755-$3.95

Love this new kit-The Distressing Essentials #118762-$19.95. It adds the right touch for your different styles you are creating. I used the Tea stain ink with a sponge throughout this entire project.

Those last minute touches. The ribbon and hemp twine were also used. See my last post.

I used the Four the Holidays stamp set for the second candle as well as my last post for the first. For the red candle I used the Perfect Punches set (w) 117022 $24.95 or (c) 120516 $17.95.

I skipped my favorite Season-Fall and dove right in to Christmas for this post. I was playing with our New Newsprint DSP, and realized that this was perfect for Holiday Decor. So being in the business that I am in, I have to think Holidays ahead of time, especially if I am doing Craft fairs.

This is a Lovely New Stampin' Up!® set-Friends Never Fade. I think the Early Espresso 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon is what makes this card. I originally saw a similar idea with thicker ribbon and a retired color and chose to redo with a cleaner look. I demonstrated this card last month at my Stamper 6 groups-They Loved it. I hope you do too.

Remember-Not all ideas have to be exact-you can certainly change up my card to make it your own. That's what being Creative is. Just a little something I finally put together for when I do workshops and crafting events. This is a highly decorated box of Yellow cake mix. So Cool. This was a share from one of my favorite Demonstrators-Becky Roberts www.inkingidaho.blogspots.com. She made these as gifts and I truly fell in love with the idea.
