Problem plagued vehicle. No holds barred piece of trash with wheels. Unfortunate, since the styling is quite nice and the ride (when it works) is comfortable. This is my 18th GM and the only bad one. Stay away from these vehicles!

2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Review, by rereighard

Performance: 5
Exterior: 4
Interior: 4
Overall: 4
Review Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=Poor
Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
Everything except the cons.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
Better rotors and brakes pads, pads stick in the caliper and make noise.
PLEASE improve wheel bearings!! 38,000 mi. and been through both fronts.

2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Review, by Guest

Performance: 1
Exterior: 2
Interior: 2
Overall: 2
Review Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=Poor
Pros: What do you like about 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
I love the vehicle's shape and style.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
I have had problems with the fuel sending sensor, the idler pulley, battery is bad, and a fuse that keeps blowing to the ignition switch system and no one can seem to find the problem with this. First the gas gauge was not working which cost me $700 to fix, then my transmission was leaking - another $450, my car has been whining - being told that it is a pulley and now my car wont start. It turns over and then cuts off.
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Review:
I would not recommend this car unless you have a lot of money to fix it up.

2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Review, by H Shearer

Performance: 5
Exterior: 5
Interior: 4
Overall: 5
Review Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=Poor
Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
We have driven our Trailblazer 135,000 km. Replaced tensioner pulley under warranty and one strut. No other repairs. Replaced tires at 87,000 km and changed the diff. fluids. Great riding vehicle. Still looks great. Living in central Canada it's nice to have the 2, all and 4 wheel drive options. Another nice option is the lift glass in the rear door. Makes loading easier and nothing falls out when you open it. Carries up to 8 if 4/5 are children or 6 comfortably for shorter trips.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
Overall gas mileage could be improved but one has to pay for the options, including a great towing capability, and storage capacity of this vehicle. We get in the low 20's on the highway. It can drop 2/3 mph into heavy winds. Tailwinds can mean 25 to 27 mpg. Higher speeds do not impact mileage as we have driven on many interstates at 80mph and no deterioration in gas consumption (we actually got 29 mpg 3 times with a strong tailwind running at 75/80 mpg on an Interstate). The only interior suggestion is the middle seats are a bit too close to the front ones and are fixed. Gas costs are only part of the operating costs and with minimal repairs our overall experience has been excellent.

2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Review, by maria

Performance: 3
Exterior: 3
Interior: 3
Overall: 3
Review Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=Poor
Pros: What do you like about 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
I love my TB, use it a lot.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer?
It gave out on me today....sob.
