Last Night’s Vice at the Rock and Roll Marathon on Oct. 23rd

We will be playing the Rock and Roll Marathon. The race starts at 7:30 and we’ll be playing all day.

You can see us at the 11th Mile Marker for the Half-Marathon or the 24th Mile Marker for the Full-Marathon. This is located right next to Lafayette Park on Park Avenue.

Sugar Ray will be headlining the entire event.

So earlier this week Justin sent me a text about doing a blog about this band, and I was really busy…4 days later I now have time! I didn’t expect this band to be so appealing especially to a guy like me, but they are actually a really, really, good band. Like I said though, they seem to be very original, giving their style of music a little pop to it, but also keeping it very chill.

When I say chill, I mean the kind of music you’d want to listen to when your with some friends, preferably in a car driving on a road trip, maybe spring break or summer break, or even listening to it while driving in the lighted city of Chicago…or if you happen to be in LA then it would be the right music. I said it has a taste of pop, well Last Nights Vice can also be played during a party if your guests are those kind of people, and yes those should be Ordinary People.

We are playing the first Missouri Music Festival, a 3-day festival held in Columbia, MO with 3 music stages, an indoor night club, MMA fights, car and bike shows, a carnival and a shit ton of booze and food vendors. The 3-day festival is estimated to bring a crowd of over 100,000 people!

As of right now, CONFIRMED artists include Nicki Minaj, T-Pain, DJ Pauly D, New Boyz, Jerimiah, Murphy Lee, Tech N9ne, Sugar Ray, and Brad Paisley. Negotiations with more artist are on the way.

REVIEW: Pointfest Announcement Show with Brookroyal and Last Nights Vice

Before Brookroyal took the stage, Last Nights Vice was raring to go. They kicked their set off with “Power Cosmic” then went into “Perfect Little Noise” and “314.” Despite my obvious bias and partiality for Last Nights Vice, it was easy to see that they owned that stage and made an impression on anyone who hasn’t seen them live. Having just come off of playing at Fair St. Louis and a show in Chicago last week, these guys have been on a roll with no intentions of pumping the breaks.

From the first song, they commanded the stage like the rock stars they’re destined to be. Just in the couple years I’ve seen them, their confidence and ability has sky-rocketed. And it’s easy to tell they’re having fun. When the band has fun and they’re enjoying themselves, fans notice and react accordingly. And Last Nights Vice has an uncanny knack for making that happen every time they play.
