There are many housing/lodging options when you vacation in Zihuatanejo or Ixtapa. Among these are hotels, hostels, and a select few vacation rentals.

The staff and crew are expert fisherman. 

On our last fishing trip we went out at 4 pm.  We wanted to try our luck at evening fishing.  We had gotten landing reports of a few sails and dorado during the morning outings.  Well we had a blast we caught 4 Dorado pairs bulls and females, 1 Sail and 18 Bonito.  We landed all our fish and the crew dressed our fish for us.  We were back by 7:30 pm with lots of fish and great memories.  We went out on Grand Jefe, the boat was clean, clutter free and had state of the art fishing equipment.

I´m always amazed to find Blog posts that talk about Zihuatanejo, however there´s not a story attached .  Just like a journal entry, here´s a post a found "Back from Zihuatanejo", as an example. 

As an expat living in Zihuatanejo I find myself asking what is it about this fishing village people like so much.  So here it is, I would like to find out your opinion, comment, favorite hang out or most memorable experience about Zihuatanejo.  

So share where you hung out, what did you do while in Zihuatanejo, your favorite places to eat, who were you with… just some ideas.

I look forward to your comments.  After all when it comes down to the end, life is just a collection of experiences and you have a choice of what to make of them.

Why is Zihuatanejo real estate booming when other areas of Mexico are suffering?  Well I think it a combination of reason, but one reason for sure are that activities here in Zihuatanejo are many, especially those like surfing.  Here´s a great article I found about Guerrero and Michoacan Surfing.  I would like for this site to have many comments about surfing in the Zihuatanejo area.  I invite your comments.
