The grand-daddy of Laptop websites (perhaps), has posted their review of the Lenovo IdeaPad Y450 laptop. The IdeaPads are Lenovo's consumer-tier laptops, while the ThinkPads are reserved for the business and professional users. Lenovo has been trying hard to make a dent in the consumer world with their IdeaPad models, infact, they even launched a new model that sells for $430 out of the gate (see IdeaPad G530). The Y450 is part of a trio, the smaller of the three. We won't spoil the findings here, check the full review at the Laptop Magazine for all the details!

CNet has just recently posted their findings on the Fujitsu Lifebook T5010. The review is coming from their UK branch. As you may know, CNet is a globaly network of websites and contributors, with content arriving from different parts of the world, including Singapore, the UK and the US. This is, as the model name suggests, a tablet-type laptop, with a stylus-based touchscreen and all. This has a 13.3" widescreen display which contributes to a higher price than non-convertible models. Check their review for their findings, where you will discover a not-so-pleasant surprise on battery life.

You don't need attitude to get a Dell Latitude, but having one, will get you one! This is intended to be a student netbook, and being a Latitude means it can take more beating, which is a good idea considering that students are more "active" than your typical "business user". So, how does it do? Will it be a good match for the hyperactive students out there, overloaded on sugary energy drinks and caffeine? One way to find out, check the Laptop Magazine review!

Notebook Review has just e-published their review of the Toshiba Protege A605, a 12.1" widescreen little laptop. This is a laptop, with a dual-core processor, not a "grown" netbook. And it is indeed priced like a laptop, because for its price, you can buy about three EeePCs or Aspire Ones. But if you need a laptop and you need small size, then take a look at the review to see whether this cutesy little laptop is good enough for you.

The now online-only PC Magazine has posted their findings on the Samsung N120-12GBK netbook, a 10-incher with a higher price tag than the competitors, such as the Acer Aspire One, which we just mentioned. However, the NC120 has something that will be music to the ears of road warriors, the review found the battery life to be almost eight hours. That's right, a full time job's worth of time, as long as you turn it off during lunch time :) And if you are a numbers geek, be sure to check their performance results.
