This is the story of seven strangers picked to live in a house surrounded by zombies to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting eaten.

The Real World: Zombieville is a 6 part “micro-series” (read: commercials) by the American Legacy Foundation, which is responsible for the “Truth” anti-smoking campaign.

The commercials compare cigarettes to zombies, such as both kill millions of people. “The only difference is cigarettes are real,” explains the announcer.

However, for an organization that claims not to be anti-smoker, associating smokers with virus spreading monsters that can only be stopped by blowing they’re heads is a funny way of showing it.

The quintessential harem manga, Love Hina, returns with a 6 page one-shot!

It appears to take place before Naru & Keitaro’s wedding, which was announced 5 years ago on creator Ken Akamatsu’s blog, unless Keitaro is still trying to graduate which wouldn’t surprise me. While soaking in the onsen, Kitsune asks Shinobu how far she’s gone with a boy on a scale of A – D, A being a kiss. D isn’t defined but I imagine it’s something along the lines of “this and that.” Naturally, Keitaro misunderstands. He thinks they’re talking about grades and tells Shinobu he just got C. Hilarity ensues.

The one-shot was released in the 40th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine to celebrate the 300th chapter of Akamatsu’s other harem manga, Negima! Magister Negi Magi. No scanlation yet but here’s the untranslated manga:

These majestic old-timers can stroll for up to 30 minutes before finding a park bench.

In a dystopic future where Obamacare didn’t pass, the United States has set up a seniors game preserve (and you thought death panels sounded bad) but when two friends learn of a magical land with free health care, they plan escape across the border.

The Closer You Get To Canada is a black comedy that examines themes of patriotism, state security, and personal liberties. It premieres at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

The penultimate episode of Doctor Who: The Adventure Games takes place entirely inside the TARDIS, well except for a quick jaunt outside that leaves the Doctor floating in outer space and, for the first time in his life, at a loss for words. This results in a very humorous game of charades.

All the objectives involve working the console and ultimately even flying the TARDIS! You’ll have 60 seconds to feverishly run around the console pulling knobs, levers, and other various scientific-type doohickeys but absolutely no blue boringers!

While it’s a nice departure from the cat and mouse gameplay of the two previous games, you never really feel like you’re in the TARDIS because it’s actually smaller on the inside (relatively).

All the doors except for one lead back to the console room. The one room that’s open is the Doctor’s Drawing Room, an impressive trophy room that’s littered with artifacts from throughout the series, including the previous games. Reading up on the artifacts isn’t just fun, it’ll aid you later on in a Doctor Who quiz.

Ironically, Doctor Who: The Adventure Games – TARDIS would be the best game in the series if only there was more ‘time and space’ to explore. It’s only about 30 minutes long and most of that is cutscenes.

The Asylum, the film studio famous for cashing in on others’ success with knockbusters like Transmorphers and Snakes on a Train, embarks on destroying the Titanic again.

This time nobody’s safe from icebergs not ships, submarines, airplanes, or even surfers!

The movie opens with a man glacier surfing, a (real) sport where surfers wait for a piece of ice to break off a glacier and fall into the ocean then surf the resulting wave, however the titanic wave washes him away.

Tip of the iceberg.

Scientists warn Coast Guard Captain James Maine (Bruce Davison) that the next piece of ice to break off could be the size of Rhode Island, creating a mega-tsunami of ice. But the warning comes too late for his daughter Amy, a nurse on the Titanic II. To make matters worse, the ship’s owner (and coincidentally Amy’s old boyfriend) Hayden Walsh rushed construction to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Titanic. Hayden is amalgamation of the male leads from the original movie. He starts of as a snobby socialite but as the movie progress he becomes the honorable man Amy once loved, which might have some resonance if they had any chemistry but their relationship feels more like that of brother & sister and his inevitable watery sacrifice ends up having even less emotional impact than the first time we saw it.

Disastrous effects.

Unlike its predecessor the Titanic II is woefully unimpressive. The camera uses numerous close-ups to avoid showing the painfully obvious CG ship. But the camera can’t hide what’s on the inside or rather what’s not. While people were packed in like sardines in the original Titanic, Titanic II is like ghost ship. When the captain signals the alarm, the passengers panic and literally trip over themselves! There are so few extras that some of them can’t even find someone to bump into and simply collapse. Worse, when the ship (read: camera) tilts a passenger leans the wrong way and appears to repel rather than fall down the railing. He manages to make his way through a door and the ships is magically level again. It makes Batman walking up the side of a building look realistic.

Steer clear of Titanic II.

Despite being a disaster movie there’s absolutely no drama. Instead it wastes energy on whittling down the survivors to Amy and Hayden as though that in and of itself is drama enough.

At one point Amy loosely tapes a credit card to one of her injured friends to stop the bleeding, keep in mind this happens in the sickbay! Apparently, she went to the Macgyver School of Medicine, and the Director went to the Ed Wood School of Film.

As if the original scene in which Takashi uses his girlfriend’s breasts as shock absorbers for his rifle didn’t have enough fanservice, the anime adaptation of Highschool of the Dead adds the slow motion effect known as “Bullet Time” (popularized in the Matrix).

While simultaneously fighting zombies, Saeko uses the Neo limbo to dodge bullets that fly between her legs and breasts. Fortunately for Saeko, her bouncing breasts are faster than a speeding a bullet!

Like a modern-day Rosa Parks, Imane Boudlal is suing Disney after being told she had to work at the back of the castle because of her hajib, a traditional but not necessarily religious headscarf.

“They said, these are your options: either work in the back or go home,” alleges Boudlal. “I don’t want to be in the back. I’m a human being, I have feelings. Don’t put me in the back.”

But the company defends its actions, arguing that Boudlal’s job at Disney’s Storyteller Cafe, a themed restaurant, is an on-stage position and that the garment does not comply with the “Disney look.”

“It has to do with the costume, every role at Disneyland Resort has a specific costume,” said Disney spokeswoman Suzi Brown.

Disney says it is working to provide reasonable accommodations for Boudlal such as designing an appropriate headscarf, which may have her wishing she never brought it up.

The cross-dressing sketch comedy group Kids in the Hall reunites for some serious fun in the murder mystery miniseries, Death Comes to Town.

Death is snaggletooth druggie who rides around on a motorized bicycle collecting souls to snort. The first in line is the Mayor of Shuckton but Death isn’t responsible for the murder, he just reaps the rewards. The actual killer is hidden in the shadows but unlike your typical mystery where clues gradually reveal the killer’s identity, the mystery only deeps as the town’s incompetent cops randomly point the finger at everyone, even themselves!

Naturally, they decided to pin it on a minority, just because he’s covered in the Mayor’s blood. Crim may only be 1/16 Native American but he’s a 100% walking stereotype, who steals and gets high off hand sanitizer.

Death Comes to Town is filled with similarly politically incorrect jokes from industrial strength abortion vacuums to necrophilia and not just necrophilia, but gay necrophilia!

No ones safe from KITH’s jeers, not even KITH. There are some not-so-subtle references to Dave Foley’s dramatic weight gain. The cops comment on the Mayor’s wife (Foley) putting on weight but say it looks good on her, another nod to Foley being recognized as the most womanly of the group.

Cameos by classic characters like Bellini and the chicken lady complete what is yet another Kids in the Hall masterpiece.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is claiming victory after Dodge digitally removed the chimpanzee (but not its clothes) from its new “Tent Event” commercial.

“And just like that, Dodge joins Travelers Insurance, AT&T, and Europcar, companies that have pulled or altered ads with great apes in just the last month after being contacted by PETA,” said PETA.

Ironically, one of their complaints was that these apes are discarded at “seedy roadside zoos” when they become more trouble than they’re worth (kinda like now).

Doctors from around China gathered at Jinan Chest Hospital to treat 53-year-old Guo Qingpo, who was suffering from a severe case of gynecomastia, more commonly known as man boobs, or moobs.

“I had never seen anything like it in 40 years. There has never been such a case in China, or anywhere in the world,” asserts Director Dr. Zhang Jianhua.

It took two teams working side-by-side on each breast over six hours to surgically remove the excess fat, which weighed a total of 11 lbs.

Like many men Guo Qingpo was in denial and initially avoided treatment.

“About ten years ago, I first noticed my breasts were larger than other men’s but I just thought I was putting on weight and didn’t pay much attention,” said Qingpo. “Then about two years ago they began to grow outrageously until they were as big as footballs. People would stare at me wherever I went.
