BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 84-year old Marian Peterson of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Friday, January 27th at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Alliance Church in Boone, Iowa. Following the service, her body will be cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at the Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames, Iowa at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Thursday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Visitation Friday will be held at the Cornerstone Alliance Church in Boone from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.

The service will be held Friday, January 27th at 1:00 PM at the Evangelical Free Church in Boone, Iowa. Interment will be held at the South Marion Cemetery located south of Stratford, Iowa. Following the interment, the family would like to extend and invitation to join them at the Athens Woods Estate's Dining Hall in Stratford for a luncheon and fellowship.

Visitation will be held at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Chapel at that time.
