W czasie ośmiogodzinnego, wolnego od reklamy pasma, użytkownicy portalu mogli cieszyć się odcinkami najlepszych programów telewizyjnych i seriali bez żadnych przerw.  O wspaniałomyślności McDonaldsa informowała jedynie ramka zawierająca logo nowego produktu tejże firmy oraz postaci z dwóch spośród najpopularniejszych seriali dostępnych w serwisie - Family Guy i 30 Rock. Jak widać, (pozornie całkowity) brak przekazu reklamowego również stanowi przekaz. Niestety nie mogli się o tym przekonać widzowie spoza USA, będącego jedynym krajem, na terenie którego można oglądać Hulu. Być może twórcy serwisu uznali, że brak dostępu również jest jakąś formą dostępu :). A swoją drogą to ciekawe, że subskrypcja Zune Pass to wydatek jedynie 14,99 dolara.
