We all have to choose our own adventure as far as that stuff goes. Do what you think is right. I was an unreligious, libertarian-leaning-conservative long before I was a Christian, so I know where you’re coming from, too. If the drinking, cursing and struggle to find forgiveness in my heart for people who mean me harm is any indication, I’m still not even a very good Christian

But I try.

I guess without getting all Brit Hume on you, just keep in mind that it’ll always be there if you need it

Republicans only stretch out the debates because they aren’t in power. It’s a nice charade to keep Americans divided. Go back and read the insane legislation that Republicans signed when Bush was in power.

Meh, our grandparents’ generation was raised by the people who gave us the Great Depression, Social Security, the Federal Reserve, fascism and eugenics. I like to think that any responsibility and sense of duty the “greatest generation” had was simply rebellion against their idiotic parents.

Sort of like how we’re starting to realize the boomer generation is raping us and ignoring our safe words.
