Seemingly out of nowhere, the Jordan Superfreak, now redubbed the Jordan Cover 3, is beginning to hit retail. The Jordan Superfreak was originally a Randy Moss signature with Jordan Brand. Now that Randy is no longer with Jordan Brand, JB released the old silhouette as the Jordan Cover 3. The Jordan Cover 3 is pretty faithful to the OG Superfreak minus the "84" embroidery. Once a College Basketball powerhouse, St. John's University has fallen on hard times for a while now. Unable to lure local NYC talent to it's local campus, SJU has been in a rebuilding phase for a while now. Yesterday though, SJU took a step in the right direction by smashing perennial College Basketball powerhouse UCONN in the Big East tournament. Tonight the Redstorm lock up against Marquette in the Big East tournament while rocking their own Nike Hyperdunk iD PEs. The SJU Nike Hyperdunk iD PE features a Red based upper with Red patent and a Red to Black fade on the Flywire panel. The upper sits on a Black midsole and Red outsole. Nike Auto Force Trainer First Look

Nike has celebrated the legacy of their classic trainer line this year and last year by bringing out fresh new training specific styles that are built on the heritage laid out by the original Bo Jackson Trainer series. The new styles include the Nike Trainer 1 and the Nike SC Trainer 2010. Later this year though, Nike is taking the Trainer line in a completely different direction with the Nike Auto Force Trainer. Instead of building a new training performance sneaker, Nike is taking the upper look from the Trainer line and combining that with an AC outsole to create the Auto Force Trainer. In the same vain of the Auto Force 180 and the Auto Flight, the Auto Force Trainer is a "casualized" performance sneaker that gives the look and feel of the classic Trainer line on the casual autoclave outsole. So far we have seen a couple of Air Jordan Retro IIs that have dropped/are set to drop this year including the Silver Anniversary Air Jordan Retro II, the BIN23 Air Jordan Retro II, and the University Blue Air Jordan Retro II. Of all these colorways though, there is probably no other AJ2 colorway that people want to see more than this OG White/Black/Red Air Jordan Retro II. A retro of the classic OG Air Jordan II that was originally made in Italy and was the first AJ to not feature the Nike Swoosh, the White/Black/Red Air Jordan Retro II is pretty faithful to the OG Air Jordan II with it's White smooth leather upper, Black and Red piping, and Black and Red accents. Jordan Accolades First Look

Later this year Jordan Brand is set to introduce the Jordan Accolades. From an aesthetic perspective, the Jordan Accolades appears to be heavily influenced by the Air Jordan X. The overall lines of the upper and most obviously the midsole/outsole are reminiscent of the AJX. The upper features a combo of smooth leather, perforated leather, and a raised elephant print trim. Also, I would think the name "Accolades" links back to the Air Jordan X as well as the outsole on that sneaker featured a list of MJ's accolades on the outsole. More info to come. Nike Air Force 1 x FUTURA x New York Yankees Part II with Insight from FUTURA on the Collaboration

As I hinted to in yesterday's [Nike Air Force 1 x FUTURA x New York Yankees post], there is much more to the three headed monster collaboration including, two more Air Force 1 sneakers. The second set of AF1 x FUTURA x Yankees sneakers includes a White and Silver AF1 High and a Silver and Blue AF1 Low. The Yankees x FUTURA x Nike Air Force 1 High features a White smooth leather/perforated leather upper, a Silver Swoosh, a Silver ankle strap, and a clear outsole. The AF1 Low features a Metallic Silver smooth leather/perforated leather upper, a White midsole, and translucent Blue outsole. Also, on the high, it appears that FUTURA's famous Pointman is emblazoned on the tongue holding a baseball bat. After I posted pics of the first part of this collab yesterday, FUTURA stopped by KATC and dropped his feelings on the collab in the comments section, saying: "this is beyond a DREAM COLABBO. not just the continuation of my relationship with NIKE. but as a native NEWYORKER; the opportunity to also cross a bridge to YANKEE STADIUM. c'mon now; please. whether you're feeling the DESIGN is one thing and honestly, that's not my concern. HI vs. LO. (BLUE vs. SILVER vs. WHITE) oh those didn't drop yet. and? the CONCEPT is not LIMITED. it's NOT AVAILABLE to those who normally wait&cop&inflate&destroy the MARKET with PRICE GOUGING. I'm very excited at the potential REACH of this CAMPAIGN. the PROBLEM with the SNEAKER GAME is that LIMITED is LETHAL. this SAMPLE the INTERNET is viewing is not the FINAL ANSWER. hahahaha that LABEL needs the UPGRADE. but the TAG on the TONGUE is what really makes this project a COSMIC ABSTRACTION. thirty years ago when I was trying to GETUP . . . with nothing but a NAME; I could never see this -FUTURA." If you watched last night's amazing Lakers vs. Heat game, which you should have, you probably noticed that Kobe broke out the Black/White/Del Sol Nike Zoom Kobe V on his way to another monster game. The Black/White/Del Sol Nike Zoom Kobe V features a predominantly Black upper with a hit of White at the heel counter that runs through the midsole. Reebok Pump Court Victory Michael Chang Retros

Though many of us equate the Reebok Pump legacy with Dee Brown and his iconic no look dunk in the Slam Dunk Championship, we can not forget Michael Chang's classic Reebok Court Victory Pump line. A dominant Tennis player in the 90s, Chang's Reebok Pump Court Victory line was the opposite of Brown's line in terms of color makeup. Where Brown's line was based in Black, Orange and White, Chang's line fit in with the brighter colors that were typical of the 90s palette. After lying dormant for a minute, Reebok is set to retro two OG Michael Chang Reebok Court Victory Pumps including the White/Green/Neon colorway and the White/Blue/Orange colorway. Nike Foamposite One Eggplant New Pic and Release Reminder

I'm sure the date is already marked on your calender but, the Eggplant Nike Foamposite One is set to release tomorrow, 3/6, at select Nike accounts. There are several accounts doing Midnight Releases tonight like the House of Hoops, certain Foot Locker stores, and certain Foot Action stores. Make sure to check your local store to see if they are doing a midnight release so that you don't wake up tomorrow to find out that they are all gone already. Also, in my last post, I mentioned that the re-release Eggplant Foam features an icier outsole. Some commentors didn't see it. I hope the pic above makes this even clearer.

This year, Nash and Nike have linked up to create the Trash Talk Nike Hyperdunk Low. The Trash Talk Nike Hyperdunk Low, like the Trash Talk kix of the past, is literally made of the trash materials that are excessed when making other sneakers. Air Jordan Retro VI (6) Lakers Samples

As we've seen a couple of times now, Jordan Brand is set to release a Lakers flavor of the Air Jordan 6. During the sampling up process though, Jordan Brand made a Lakers VI that did not feature the reflective paneling that will be on the final version which in effect, took the "showtime" out of the sneaker. Instead, the sample Lakers VI featured a full nubuck upper and the contrast stitching on was also a lot less subtle. Adding to their upcoming roster of sneakers, Nike 6.0 is set to release the "Sad Autumn" Nike 6.0 Dunk High. Nike Air Force 1 x FUTURA x New York Yankees

After linking up with the legendary and current #1 Men's Basketball in the country, Nike and FUTURA are set to link up with the current reigning Baseball champions, the New York Yankees. Putting his own clean twist on a pack of classic Nike silhouettes as he did with the Syracuse pack, the FUTURA designed Yankees pack will feature at least two Air Force 1s which includes a Yankee Navy AF1 High and a Black AF1 low. The High features a perforated premium leather upper, a White midsole, and translucent outsole. The Low features a Black upper, White midsole, and icey outsole. Kevin Durant is having an MVP caliber season. His streak of 25+ point games, his All-Star selection, his leadership of the very young Oklahoma City to a 35-23 record that placed the team only 3.5 games back of the Nuggets, are all testament to the fact that Durant is coming into his own in only his third year in the league. To commemorate the stellar year that Durant has had thus far, Nike Basketball blessed KD with two pairs of Air Force 1s during his recent visit to the House of Hoops in Harlem. The two size 17 Air Force 1s feature a laser print that links back to KD's milestones this season including his first All-Star selection, his season stats, and his stats in the All-Star game. The laser print also features the KD logo in a monogram style. The KD Air Force 1s were done in Black pair and a White pair with the alternating laser pattern on both. Both the ZKV and the Hyperdunk feature a colorway inspired by the Aston Martin in the commercial with Silver upper and Red accents. As I type this post, UNC is taking on Florida State on ESPN and in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Air Jordan line, the squad is wearing special Silver uniforms and an Air Jordan 2010 Silver Anniversary PE. Similar to D. Wade's All-Star PE, the UNC Silver Anniversary Air Jordan 2010 PE features a Silver upper and White upper, a Silver midsole, and icey clear outsole. As is the case with all Air Jordan 2010 colorways, the medial window exposes a UNC Blue hit which links back to Michael Jordan's UNC roots. One of the most memorable pieces of the Hyperdunk campaign from 2008 was Kobe jumping over the Aston Martin. The video hit YouTube and became a sensation worldwide spawning many parodys. Flash forward to this Spring and Nike is set to release the Aston Martin Hyperdunk in tribute to that memorable commercial. The Aston Martin Nike Hyperdunk PE features a colorway inspired by the Aston Martin that Kobe jumped over and features a shiny Silver upper, with Red accents, and an Aston Martin like logo on the tongue. From what I heard, the release will be regional and each sneaker will release at different accounts.
