The media just loves to feed on kiters, and make it look like a stupidly dangerous sport. Anyways, a man kiting on Hayling Island was lifted by a gust, and thrown into a cliff face. Luckily Chris Bull of the Hayling Island Kitesurfing Association stepped in and explained the situation, encourging people to come try the sport, and that with the right training and gear, the sport can be safe.
