A couple birthday's back back, we had a fire engine birthday party for Mathew. All of the kids had a blast! Here is a time lapse video of the construction of a new Fire Station. This is the new Fire Station for the Dorset Fire & Rescue Service in the UK. We had new a new fire station built a couple of miles away from us. It took over a year to finish the construction. Mathew was always happy to drive by once week to see how the work was coming along. It would have been fun to take a picture once or twice a week and put together a video like this. Enjoy!

Sorry, this is a bit off topic, but there are some firefighters in the video. Mathew and I made our first Lego Stop Motion video for the PTA Reflections contest. Let us know what you think. It is quite a bit of work to put these together. We might do a firefighter video in the future, but first we need to forget about how long this one took. Enjoy!

We were at Mathew's hockey practice over the weekend and some of the parents were talking about buying Halloween costumes already. Our family usually doesn't think this far ahead about costumes but it sounds like others do. Here are some Firefighter costumes for all of your little firefighters this Halloween. Mathew has been insisting on being Captain America ever since he seen the movie.
