Writer's Block

I am struggling with writers block at the moment. I know that i'm a good writer and that writing stories and poem's is one of the things that I do best, but as soon as I tell myself that I'm going to write my book I get panicked and my brain turns to slush and I just start thinking NOTHING. Its like my mind will be devoid of all thought and feeling, and its like my brain has suddenly become like outter space except less dark and with no stars :S

And then I get confused. Am I going for fiction or non-fiction, am I going to make it auto-biographical? It needs to be something that people will want to buy, surely, otherwise whats the point of writing a book if no one buys it? One might as well publish an obsolete thesis, but at least if I did that I would have a third degree wouldn't I? And it would probably take the same amount of time. No wait, a thesis would take longer. Six months at least. And I know people who have taken even longer.

So....a book. Yes, a book. About something. But what? My brother and I decided to brainstorm and we came up with a brilliant story, and it even has a beginnng and a conclusion already and the story is basically there and so all I really need to so is write it down or paper. Or type it onto word rather. Of course I won't share my story here because someone will copy it and publish it before me and then they will have stolen all the credit and money for my book before I could even write it.

So then I think, yes, I'll write my amazing story and publish it. But where? What if I publish my story online with a website I later regret or with publishers that don't market it properly and then I will have published my one and only amazing story to the wrong place and it will all be a big massive mistake. Still, maybe I should write it now and worry about the publications later, but the doubt takes away the motivation and I get worried.

I get worried that something will happen to this computer to make me lose my books. This happened last time and I am worried that it wil happen again. In which case I should get into a frenzy and write my book now and publish it just so it will be safe and completed. But do I really want to publish that book as my first major book? Maybe I should go for non-fiction, a how-to sort of book that people will actually buy...

And so here I am, at three a.m., in pyjama's, feeling sick and worrying about all this. In addition to which I have so much other stuff I need to do, do I even have time to write a book?

So when I was on twitter the other day I suddenly noticed that Jimmy Fallon is really famous, and he looks famous on google and stuff too. And then I saw his late show and I was like oh yeah, thats who he is. So I'm glad because I think he's really funny. He did that skit with Paris Hilton that one time right? And so I'm following him on twitter and watching him on tv. He's really funny. He doesn't try to overdo the humour which makes it funnier. Go find him on twitter peeps, lets show him our support.

So I was watching tv as usual and then I watched the ellen show, which i have been watching more and more and more lately and she's just so fun. The show is so fun to watch. Like most other shows need to go to these pathetic extremes and use way too much shock value but ellen's show is nice and light-hearted and fun and its funny! And the theme song is cool too and the men on there are HOT! So go Ellen, kudo's to you.

And hey, we can follow her on twitter with all the other famous people and she's gonna have Kris Allen on her show on Monday. Yay!

Will The Real Paris Hilton Please Stand Up?

Hey Peeps,

From time to time ordinary people like me like to read about famous people and watch them on the tele. And so when I got my Twitter account I was thrilled to see lots and lots of famous people. Real one's. And I can follow them and they follow me too and its awesome Anyway, so I looked up Paris Hilton, who is also the most searched for person on google nowadays, and I found way too many Paris accounts. I didn't know who was who because they all had profile pictures of the real Paris. Some had the word "faker" next to their name so that you can at least tell that its not the real Paris, but those people have millions of followers too. Anyway, so now that I'm blogging want to read her blog, because they have millions of Paris Hilton blogs too. So i guess the best way is to check on google, the most legit one will be at the top of the google index that yields the search results.

What Blog Where?

Dear Readers,

I guess I should call you all readers now because this website is slowly starting to expand. Well a tiny bit anyway. Right now I just feel like my brain is frazzled. The millions of dollars that I thought I would be making from my blog just aren't happening. I hav tried so many sites, from Triond to Blogger to Hubs to PayingPost to Wordpress and I still have not made any real money. I guess it takes time, after all, my websites only did just start. I know that a website needs to at least occupy a fair amount of space and have a lot of traffic before it starts to rank nicely and snuggly near the top with google. I know all that. I guess that I was just expecting all of the traffic to be there at my feet. I feel so disillusioned. And then I see these fancy smancy websites and blogs with all this cool stuff that I don't know and can't afford and of course they're making more money then I am.

So I guess all I can do is work hard at my blog and take tried and trusted advice. Who knows, I might just be the next web craze network.

Some people out there are so famous, so famous that billions of people all over the world know who they, and lots of people adore them (buy lots I mean untold millions. So i guess what I want to know, is why are these people so famous? What makes someone famous? And another thing I am curious about is how much do we really know about Paris Hilton and others who are always in the news? We probably don't know much about their private lives at all.

It is early in the morning and I still have not slept. The reason I did not sleep was because I was thinking about the internet and how to improve my blogs. I am sad because some of my blogs are very good and are even in the google index but the one's that are not good are driving down my average on the stats and ruining my chances of earning money, even though I always use advertisements on my site. So I know there's life out there, because I see the stats. Why don't you people say something?
