Gladfest is a wonderful fall festival with something for everyone! You may enjoy daily entertainment from Center Stage. Don’t miss Saturday morning’s Parade or Sunday’s Classic Car Show! A Carnival will be open all three days for kids of all ages. The Carnival will offer an “All You Can Ride” wristband special on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Marketplace Tents will be located just west of City Hall and will offer valuable contacts with local businesses and civic organizations. Larger commercial vendors and the best in food and beverages will be found along 70th Street and N. Holmes. History enthusiasts will want to visit the Civil War Encampment located along 70th Street all weekend.

The Overland Park Fall Festival is on Saturday September 24th this year. Kids anxiously sitting on the street curbs and parents waiting for the next act can only mean one thing – the Downtown Overland Park Fall Festival.

The OP Fall fest features:

Johnson County’s best Arts and Crafts Fair, featuring 200-plus vendors;
Three stages of free concerts;
Free children’s entertainment and kid-friendly activities, including moonwalks, an inflatable obstacle course, and other funs options;
Food booths, offering everything from lemonade and hot dogs to hamburgers, ice cream and more; and a
Free motorcycle and classic car show.

Blue Springs fall festival spans three days in September. This year Blue Springs will be celebrating its 41st annual FALL FUN FESTIVAL on Sept. 17, 18, & 19, 2010. The festival normally draws over 100,000 for the three days. There is entertainment on three stages & a carnival for the kids. Eastern Jackson County’s largest parade is held on Saturday. The festival is held on Main St and has over 280 craft and food booths. A parade is the weekend’s highlight.

Zona Rosa Arts Festival will feature artists and performers living and/or exhibiting in Platte County, as well as other well-recognized artists from a across the country. The festival will showcase an assortment of performance artists throughout the weekend, as well as a variety of visual art, including photography, paintings, sculpture and jewelry.

September 16th -18th on the streets of Zona Rosa
Friday the 16th 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday the 17th 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday the 18th Noon – 6 p.m.
