Top Entrecard droppers for December 2009 have been assessed and Martin's blog All about Babies and Kids has edged out all contenders by one extra drop this month. Cornyman certain is on the ball in EC drops and consistantly is in the top hit parade not just on Kamila's site but many other blogs. If ever there wa sa dedicated Entrecard dude it is Martin.

Looking Back And Forward In Blogging

Kamila has been looking back and looking forward with the blogging bug that she has firmly established. It has been a great year for learning about earning money online for Kamila. The biggest reward was the learning curve that has been made from this point last year. Many things have happened and been experimented on and mistakes made, this is how we all learn.

In the coming new year of 2010, Kamila hopes to continue in the same way looking at new ideas, and perhaps revamping old one to make life a little easier with some income from blogging. She has always said that making lots of money is very difficult but making little and often is quite easy and Kamila is more than content with the latter. Greedy is something Kamila certainly isn’t.

New Year will be celebrated in Yambol with friends and family then its off to the village farmhouse which has not been visited for three weeks. There should be snowdrops with this warm spell we have had so it will be a pretty place to be for a couple of day. Besides which all Kamila’s family need a little rest for the partying and fully charged body and mind batteries for the working year ahead.

In the meantime Kamila wishes all bloggers a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and she hopes that the sun shines of your blog for the whole of 2010 and beyond.

Fun With Your Pictures - It Will Entertain Your Readers

Kamila has found a fun site that can upload any photograph and transform it to give many different effects. This is really useful to bloggers who may want to capture more of a audience with fun photographs that have gone throught the process.

Kamila experimented with it and found that photo fun takes less than one minute to download a photograpsh and go through the process. Then simple copy and paste the code onto you blog under the HTML editing option and you have an instant attention seeking photograph created wtih ease.

The whole thing is free and everyday another different effect is added to the site quite amazing cosidering how much photofun you get. There are currently over 100 different effects and this will obviously grow each day in this novelty photo effects site.

Have a look at what Kamila did on her first try:

Then Kamila turned her attention to MGM imitating the lion that is normally there in the centre frame. Doesn't she just look the part!?

A few moments later Kamila found this effect where a digital camera has taken a picture of a digital camera taking a picture of Kamila.

This picture was taken at Easter but not quite an Easter bonnet doned by Kamila.

Finally, Kamila loves to be in the news and now she finds herself in the newspaper. Well there's no other way she could get the headlines is there?

Kamila on the front page of the tabloids. The guy reading is more interested in page three though!

So, Kamila suggests that if you want a bit of fun this Christmas and beyond, try out the photofunia site. It's great fun and will enhance and entertain your blog readers with this.

Blogsvertise Help Pay For Blogging

Over the past year Kamila and her team have been writing paid reviews to supplement their income and help pay the overheads that are incurred in blogging. This included paying for a monthly internet service at 22 BGN leva per month, paying for the subscription fees for web servers and web domain, the electric that is used and of course the time spent blogging.

Most paid review organisations are a bit erratic but it has come to pass that one paid review site comes up with the good it originally advertise in trying to get blogger and advertisers to use them. Kamila being a blogger can obviously only see the bloggers side of the organisation. Over the year the earning made from Blogsvertise is US$116.50. This amount was made only by selecting assignments that were in common with the blogs that they were offered too. Taking all assignments offered this figure would be in excess of US$300! The US$116.50 makes a great dent into the covering of overheads of blogging from this one site alone.

Kamila cannot find fault with Blogsvertise, they regularly come up with assignments that can be taken or left without prejudice and pay monthly regularly as clockwork. The fees range from US$7 to US$12.50 per paid review and you get that amount rather then a third being taken off as commission – this is how it should be.

If there is a problem with the paid review post they let you know where the problem lies straight away, so you can edit and reapply the post. This is invaluable for dyslexics and we have one who writes in the team. And with payment direct into you Pay pal account it couldn’t be simpler.

Kamila is now waiting for Christmas to happen here in Bulgaria and will probably have four days of family parties knowing that paid reviews will be waiting in the New Year to be able to continue blogging and of course now with pictures as a digital camera has been purchased thanks to two very kind donations made by bloggers.

Kamila Recommends Ezine Articles - Nothing But Good From It

Kamila saw the first snow of the year this weekend something she is still getting used to in Bulgaria. Pretty it is, but quite inconvenient for planting garlic sets that was planned this weekend. So it was back to blogging offline with her thinking cap on.

There is a very useful article directory that has been of great benefit to Kamila’s team and blogs that she is associated with. Ezine Articles has already awarded an Expert Author to Slivatree, which is the webmaster's pen name for over least 13 blogs! Ezine Articles are stricter about the content of articles than many other similar sites. This thorough vetting process gives the site more credibility and the readers who use it to search for articles more confidence that they can guarantee a well written article when looking up subjects or topics.

Kamila has been a member of Ezine for well over a year now approaching 100 articles with juicy back links. The traffic generated from this is substantial and consistent and of course a new breed of reader other than Entrecard and Adgitize who drop and run in the main. The hits you get are from readers who want to read you article and if they like it visit the course (you blog site) for more.

The secret of generating more traffic with Ezine Articles is easy, but it has to be word and grammar perfect and the topics you write about have to be respectful and have constructive format. Kamila had one rejected recently on a shopping review - it was refused because it wasn’t a positive review.

It takes around five minutes from taking a post you might just have written (it has to be 250+ words) and pasting it as a submitted article. Well worth taking the time to do this and build up a repertoire or articles that will help you blog become more popular. Kamila reminds you that once it is accepted (takes around 5-7 days) it will work for you forever.

Hibernation? - Not With Blogging

Kamila took a break this weekend, she didn’t go to the village but stayed in town of Yambol with friends who she hadn’t seen for ages. A late night Saturday saw Sunday curtailed with a lie in until midday and why not? Winter here in Bulgaria is all about recovering from the spring, summer and autumn preceding it. It is non-stop for nine months of the year and the period of semi- hibernation has to happen as he batteries need recharging.

It is a tired camel who has not only been blogging but working really hard to survive the coming winter with food and finance for the bills that naturally rise during this season of cold.

The blogging will continue throughout the winter with the hope of a competition or tow that she can win. Currently Kamila is in two minds whether to subscribe to Adgitize this month. She and here team earned just under the $24 dollar that was paid, it is a great return for the traffic that is generated, but the fee could more than cover filling a bottle of gas for heating for a month which is more important than near on a 100 visits each day from the traffic generated advertising. She will decide when the request comes in a week or so.

Entrecard is still going strong, Kamila drops on about 30 a day, time is a big problem with this and she is just on tick over right now. She always drops on those who drop on her, that’s only fair.

Finally, Kamila helped out on a new blogger template on one of her team member’s blog ‘Dosh For U’. We are all very pleased with the result although it is not quite finalised yet. It took a whole afternoon and evening. Kamila invites you to look at the result on the link given.

'Top 10' Entrecard Friends For November 2009

Well here it is, the end of another month and Entrecard credit are now on their way to the top ten droppers that found themselves on Kamila's blog. Kamila is smiling with joy as the top 5 friends she has in Entrecard dropped every day of November. This takes some doing as all Entgrecard members know.

Top of the pile this month was One World Realty, but only just! 300 EC credits are now on their way electronically for top spot and of course one month of free advertising of their widget on Kamila's blog (now at a PR3!)

Kamila Looking At a New Blog Face

Not a week goes by when Kamila looks at how things are going with her blog and reflects on how it can improve. She is not just talking about increased traffic but the overall way her blog looks. It may seem ‘okay’ for new visitors, but to those who visit regularly perhaps it has become to static and needs a new look or style.

Being a ‘blogger’ blogger and on a free web host service the things she can do to spic up her site are surprisingly quite diverse. Kamila found that she can completely change the look of her blog, have sub-menus and broaden her whole blog outlook by using other Blogger designed formats from web designers who are giving them away free. There are hundreds of them to choose from and most absolutely free, albeit the designers name has to be at the foot of the home page – fair do. (E.g. iblogerz.blogspot.com)

With most of these new designs you have to save all you ‘extra add on’ bits and load in again onto the new format. Kamila just doesn’t feel confident enough to do this just yet, but might just experiment with a test site from Blogger. It is free do so she has nothing to lose.

On another front Kamila is also looking at how things are at home in Egypt. The reason was she saw a documentary all about her homeland on television the other day. She still feels that she is indeed fortunate not to be a camel carrier this is a hard life for a camel. She’d much rather be in Bulgaria as a blogging camel writing about it.

Another $100 From AdSense Due Before Christmas

Day to day is how Kamila is taking thing right now. Who knows what will happen in the future is the though that is fixed in her mid this weekend as she takes a couple of days break from blogging. Who would have thought Kamila would have ended up in Bulgaria as a blogger two years ago?

AdSense came to mind as Kamila’s mind wandered into money making ideas. This week saw the AdSense account nudge over $100 and therefore a payment is due through Western Union before Christmas. What great timing! This is the second $100 plus payment by AdSense over the year and of course once set up is a passive form of earning. Kamila knows that on average only a few cents a day are made, it can be 10 days on occasions where nothing is earned then suddenly $2-3 dollars are made in a day!

Not being an expert by any means on AdSense, Kamila knows that is she took the AdSense tips that are given on many money making blogs she could make a bit more out of it. This does mean that she would be writing centring on AdSense keywords rather than having a free hand and free willed. But on the other hand what is she doing when she write paid reviews anyway? It is no different and of course Google don’t look as serious at directed key-worded AdSense posting.

Kamila did dabble with AdBrite but found that this really didn’t make any money at all and the ads were a bit naughty on occasions. So she stuck with AdSense and of course has built up a little money for Christmas not for present, but to cover fuel for heating.

Kamila Is Over The Moon With A PR3, But Only For A Moment

Kamila couldn’t believe her large brown slanted camel eyes this week. Google must have got fed up with her complaining about them and have awarded her a new PR3. After all the ups and down over recent months, this should now her ranking for at least until the New Year. Funny how Kamila doesn’t really care about Google PR when she is at PR0, but now wears a PR3 with pride. This didn't last long however.

This of course causes more problems on how to go about making money with her blog now. Does she now take up the offers from paid blog reviews, which are coming through, or does she tread carefully to protect her higher PR ranking? The problem lies in that fact that Kamila has to make money and paid blog reviews are the biggest earners by far. “A good PR from Google doesn’t pay the bills!” says Kamila in the background as I now type it out. She is so right though.

I know Kamila very well now and I know deep down she feels that Google are too big for their boots. So I feel Kamila will carry on in the same way taking decently paid offer for paid blogging reviews. If she fall down on PR again then so be it, her Alexa rank remains constant and it doesn’t affect traffic she gets. In reality Kamila’s mind is saying that Google will not be in control of her and that’s a good attitude from a Camel who really doesn’t seem to have come of age recently.

Kamila Discovers Other Ways To Drive Traffic To Your Blog

Kamila has been thinking and has come up with some ideas that will give little help on how to create more traffic to your blog and therefore increase the earning potential. It is so easy and Kamila doesn’t know why bloggers don’t use these little ways all the time and not just in a quick burst when the idea is in their head. The secret it to do make it part of you daily routine that way you will see the results coming through on a constant climb rather than rise and stutter.

Entrecard and Adgitize members make it a routine to drop daily, these bloggers don’t think twice about doing this, why don’t they do the same for other traffic generating schemes that are sitting there waiting to be used. What’s more Kamila figured out that these other ways would give you more traffic that don’t just drop and run.

Number one and one of the biggest blogging communities online is BlogCatalog Kamila is a popular member there and visits the community daily adding a few friends each time who invariably visit her site before returning the compliment. Then there is MyBlogLog, a Yahoo run blogging community that doesn’t basically the same thing and so does Kamila, a few new contacts each day bring in interest and more traffic. Both communities has many ‘extra features that can drive traffic to your blog and your new posts appear to all members when published. IT will also boost you PR and Alex factors as well as back links are being fired in.

Kamila is a fan of both sets of communities and run alongside Entrecard and Adgitize daily visits give an extra dimension of traffic coming in. Well worth a look in if you aren’t already members of these communities and if you are, log in daily, it will make a difference in the long run. Oh and by the way Kamila mentions that if you have multiple blogs these are ideal mediums to spread the word of all your blogs under one cover as long as you add them to your collection under you user name. Kamila has quite a few alongside as many of you may know.

Paid Blog Reviews That Don't Discriminate Against Low Google PR

Kamila has found herself being penalised for having a Google PR of '0' by both Blog Reviews and Pay Per Post, that is bar the $1 and sub $1 offers which Kamila refuse to entertain on principle of being manipulated. There are no earning now forthcoming form this kind of venture and her earning are no solely from Adgitize, CMF, Project Wonderful and Google Adsense. Apart from Adgitize who wins by a mile in payout and traffic, (see Kamila’s last post), the rest just pay nominal especially is you pay for additional ads in return which Kamila does.

There are for course the Kamila competition entries, but this is not for money, but for back links, prizes that she has no control over and of course a great deal of luck which she cant’ rely on. This now leads to a question from Kamila to other fellow bloggers. This question is:

Does anyone know of companies that pay for blog reviews from a blogspot sub domain blogger that doesn’t take Google PR into account?

I’m sure there are literally hundreds of others who would like to know. Kamila understands that if there are bloggers who use such a pay review system they might want to dissuade other members to sign up that would increase competition. But then there might be a referral reward in place, if so Kamila would of course quote the referrer in every case.

Adgitize Strikes Gold Again

Kamila celebrates again on a payout from Adgitize of $23.59 this month. Without Internet from Friday to Monday this is quite a sum and a net profit of $9.59 after $14 for the advertisements are taken off. This of course will rise to $24 this month, but the earning will increase in line.

It may seem like a hefty sum of $24 a month, but the rewards are lots of traffic and more than the return of your investment. It is been said before and Kamila will say it again. It is like bloggers being paid by Adgitize to advertise!

Pig Flu Is Here, But Not For Camels

Kamila has been left on her own in the Yambol house recently as she had to personally look after Baba as everyone else is out working for a living now. Blogging time has been reduced somewhat, but she still drops on Adgitize and Entrecard daily and in the evenings surfs for a bit of a read. Competition entries are still done albeit in a bit of a rush, but you never know, winning might come one day.

It is a strange time for Kamila who now finds herself still at the village farmhouse at weekends (without Internet) keeping up to date with the local village gossip. There has been a lot of talk here about pig flu and the imminent threat of an epidemic here in Yambol. It is a relieved camel who knows that she can't get the virus, but her friends and family are certainly at risk here. We all hope that is all hype.

Adgitize and Entrecard - The Best Combination For Bloggers

“It’s good and bad news from Adgitize,” says Kamila, who now looks forward to even more revenue from them each month. As from November points earned that covert to real money are raised, but then so has the fee for advertising with them form $14 per month to $24 per month.

Here’s the run down:

Kamila was very happy indeed with things as the earning were consistently over $20 per month. Kamila has calculated that the earning should be slighter more and of course with Winter coming up will help bear a little extra towards the cost of the wood that is needed for the wood-burner.

Adgitize is growing rapidly and certainly seems to be here to stay by the sound of it. The business management looking in is far more astute than Entrecard who have lost hundreds of members from bad management – Guess where they went?

Entrecard is still very useful and Kamila is still making more friends from her circulation there. The best advice form Kamila is to have a party at both organisations, they go hand in hand with dropping in any case.

No Winnings Yet, But Lots Of Love Waiting Around

As you may have noticed Kamila has been doing some paid reviews and is quite open about it. With a PR not stuck at 0 there are only a few opportunities that Kamila is offered. She obviously takes them without any fear as PR0 can't get lower. A few buck here and there all helps at the end of the day.

Kamila has also added a reputable dating site banner above her posts. She knows that true love is very hard to find and she hope that this may help people who really could do with some. It is free to sign up, write up and publish your profile and browse to your hearts content. Kamila of course would find it quite difficult to find other camels looking for love online. One day perhaps there might be a male camel in Bulgaria whom she can date. She did get a Valetine card form someone last February but has still not found out who it was from. Until then all she can do is wish and watch others fall in love around her.

No winnings in competitions yet, but early days and Kamila will be pushing for more over the next week. There seems to be quite a few new competitions coming out right now – It’s the in things at the moment it seems and of course quite a lot of fun.

Finally, Kamila is also saving money at home by helping bottle vegetables that are very cheap in the markets at the moment. This will last right through the winter when the prices will rise in the market. Being a vegetarian camel, this food is just up Kamila’s street.

Articles To Article Directories Is Good News For Blogs

Kamila is back on the subject of back links and has found a great avenue for getting extra traffic, back links and hence improved rating. This can be done simple by spending less than a minute or submitting your freshly written article to Article Alley.

Article marketing is a great way of promoting your site, and the only cost is a minute or so to copy and paste the article details. If the readers are then impressed with your article they will visit your website and learn more from where it came from. It is important to make sure that you author biography that is always there underneath your article.

Another great advantage of this is to have within your biography other information about telling the readers a bit more about yourself and/or the company that you are marketing as well as several links back to your website.

Kamila was quite amazed that her team received $22.62 from Adgitize this month. Why was this so amazing? Well quite simple for the last month or so absolutely no clicks were made on Adgitize, there just wasn’t the time in the day during September.

Kamila knew that that earning would be lower than the $25.99 last month as with no clicking on 51 advertisers daily that meant that the 100 points daily that were normally made weren’t to be tallies up as paid a premium. What this basically means it that $22.62 was earned by doing absolutely nothing, this is a passive earning for September bar taking 2 minutes to pay the premium of $14 for being an advertiser. The number of visitors from this daily hovers around the 80 mark and of course many visitors click on the Entrecard widget when visiting! Even with the advertiser payment (dirt cheap considering the traffic generated from it) there is a net gain of $8.62 was made in September.

An Optimum 200 Word Long Blog

Kamila after having entered a few online competitions is now waiting for the results. This is quite exciting, but she knows that here chances of winning are slim as all the competitions she entered were free and therefore many others entered them as well. She will have to wait for the results, but won’t hold her breath.

One of the good things about entering these competitions is that in many case Kamila’s blog gets back links for doing so. This to Kamila is a bit of a winner in itself if the competition blog is of good Google standing. Besides which entering a competition is certainly not as boring as completing a blog directory entry!

Entrecard drops haven’t been as prolific as it was a month ago, the reason is quite simply that the time spent on dropping could be spent on doing something more constructive such as writing a blog or entering a competition. The difference between getting 20 EC members dropping on her as opposed to 50 doesn’t make any difference to anything as 90% are drop and run folk.

You won’t have noticed that this blog is exactly an optimum 200 words long, this was Kamila’s plan.

Just to remind everyone, Kamila the Camel is but a simple camel that has travelled a bit and now settled in Bulgaria trying to established herself a living on the Internet. She has found that being an administrator of a websites can as easy or as hard as you want it to be. Many webmasters use very simple methods and are successful, you don’t have to be a genius to make money from the Internet, but just work hard and understand the basics.

It is a great benefit that an incredible amount of help is on the Internet to guide you through some of the mazes of the web. "Is it really October already? Kamila asks. Well yes it is and time for Kamila to reflect on the loyal Entrecard droppers for September. Kamila's Thoughts On Alexa Targets and Competitions

Kamila has now has entered five competitions and waits for the results. They are all free and easy to enter with prizes ranging from hard cash to air miles. She thinks it won’t be long before she gets some sort of reward for her efforts if nothing else the law of averages dictates that if you persist and never give up something will come her way.

It is some surprise to know that many people just don’t bother with competitions and this give a greater chance for those who do make the effort. Opportunities for competitions have increased tremendously over the last few years especially online and blog competitions, this is good news to bloggers fro another avenue of traffic and earnings.

On another front it seems that Kamila has now settled nicely into a Google PR0 but her Alexa rank stands at 137457. Her aim is to get it under 120,000 over the next few months and under 100,000 by April next year. This will take a lot of work, not least more links can communication with blogging friends and regular posts.

Needless to say spare time in Bulgaria is now increasing with most of the harvests in and food and fuel stocks stored for the coming winter. Come November there will be three months of mega time to kill and that will be spent blogging on these cold and freezing months with plenty of good food and drink on the kitchen table.

Cornyman Needs A Lift - EC Members Can Help

Kamila has come back from grape picking for four days and just heard that Cornyman has cancel the whopping 1,000,000 EC contest due to lack of support which is giving no real benefit to the generous sponsors who put up an incredible amount of cash EC credits and other goodies. This is was a big shock for Kamila who was the first blogger to be put up for the competition.

Kamila knows that Cornyman has put in a tremendous amount effort and dedication to this competition and in return it has gone pear shaped. Making a financial success out of blogging is a hard game as many have found out and given up. Kamila just hopes that Cornyman bounces back with new vigour and doesn’t let this put him off from trying other enterprises in the blogging world.

It is true to say from a Camel who has been blogging now for well over a year now that the blogging world needs more people like Cornyman or Martin those who don’t know. People like him make the blogging world tick and many bloggers including Kamila are more than grateful for his efforts that certainly haven’t gone unnoticed.
