Finally, we have some news!

According to spanish press (AS), Kakà should be back in January 2011. The doctors want  the player to resume training with team-mates as early as December. He could play again in January, more exactly 9 December against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu. Jose Mourinho has an idea in his mind. The coach wants Kakà plays Copa del Rey during the first month of the year 2011 to take the rhythm.

Kakà is treated for his knee and also to eradicate the discomfort at the pubis. AS revealed the physical work that Kakà do every day: double session for electrical work, muscles strengthening through exercise, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy.

The CL draws 2010/2011 are released! After the World Cup, Kakà is again in the “group of the death” (group G) with Real Madrid. The team will play against Milan AC (again?!), Ajax and Auxerre. If you want to know more about the other groups, click here!

Kakà should not play the group stage of CL (which begin 14th september until 8th december) because of his knee injury. He is still in therapy as he said on his twitter account. We hope he will be back as soon as possible!

Real Madrid will play their first league match against Mallorca this Sunday.

Tough times for two of the best brazilian stars. Kakà is injured and Ronaldo (the brazilian one!) is not in a good shape (he has gained weight…). Their misfortune has led this saturday to be on Twitter, a pretty funny exchange in which both promised to “shut the mouths” of those who doubt their return.

Ronaldo: “I see that we joked a lot about me lately. Anyway, I know that we love me.”

Ronaldo: “Have no doubt!!! I will return at the top one more time!”

Kakà: “And if we do this comeback together??”

Ronaldo: “Sure !!! We will shut the mouths of the minority who continued to doubt!”

Kakà: “And make happy those who support us!”

Let’s keep support them, they need it!!! =D

Kakà spoke to Marca after surgery on his knee to discuss last season and his injury. The Brazilian star looks set to be out of action for four months and denied he ever put his career in danger.

• Part I:

“Dr Martens is a great professional, but he raised the alarm while he did not have to do that,” declared Kakà to Marca on Friday. “He exaggerated a lot. I played in pain in a lot of games, not just with the national team, but also with Real Madrid,” he said. “And not just my knee, but other parts of my body, too.”

“I played infiltrated football to help my club and my team (Brazil team). I’m not irresponsible, I did not put my career in jeopardy.”

When he returns he wants to repay the fans for their support during this time and show them the real Kaka:

“I suffered because I could not prove who Kaka really is.” He added that he wants “back to the fans all the love they are giving me” with winning titles with Real Madrid.  He finished with: “I will be the best in the world again. Today it’s difficult to say this, but I think I’m going to be successful with Real Madrid. I had the operation to be No. 1 again.“

• On the part II of the interview, Kakà talked about Mourinho, RM-Barcelone rivalry and the RM recruits. Kakà believes that: “When I shall return, I am going to have to fight for a place“

About new recruit, Sergio Canales: ” He will become a player of world class, Real Madrid will allow him to cross a new landing. The competition is something positive and I like that, I shall fight for my post “, he declared, assuring  however not to be afraid of be replaced by the Spanish player. I hope that Canales will make a big season “, he added, ” I like very much him, he is a great player.”

Kakà also said that he saw Jose Mourinho as “an amazing coach,” which can be “very important to me.” “I am confident that Mourinho will learn me many things.”

Believing that “Real Madrid and Barca are the favorites,” of Liga this season, Kaka has ruled that “everything is possible” at Real Madrid, “not just a title or a double, a triple too, including the Champions League.”

Kakà’s team-mates still support him; Raul Albiol said: “We found out about Pepe yesterday. We hope he recovers soon. Kaka will need a bit longer. He is an important player and a great teammate. His situation is quite sad, but we hope he gets better as soon as possible. He has had it rough and has suffered a lot, which is why we try to cheer him up.”

EA announced that Kaka has been chosen for the cover of EA SPORTS FIFA Soccer 11. The 28-year-old Brazilian soccer hero will be the center-piece of global advertising, marketing and promotional campaigns for the most popular sports videogame in the world. He joins Wayne Rooney on the cover of the upcoming FIFA 11 game from EA SPORTS. Despite winning both the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year, this is the Real Madrid midfielder’s first time as a FIFA cover star.

Kakà said: “I’ve always been a fan of EA SPORTS and especially the FIFA series. Being on the FIFA Soccer 11 cover is a great honor for me since very few players have this opportunity, and there have been some great players featured on the cover of this truly amazing videogame.”

“Kaka brings passion, imagination and individual flair to the game every time on the pitch” said Matt Bilbey, Vice President of Soccer, EA SPORTS.

Speaking in Saturday’s edition of sports paper Diario AS, Kaka admitted that the knee had been troubling him for a while, but insisted that the club knew all about him problem ; he said the situation was a “nightmare”.

“The knee had been causing me problems for a while, but I didn’ t know it was so important,”.

“It began to hurt before the World Cup and I always made it clear that it gave me a few problems in Madrid, but I was always having treatment on my pelvic problem and it seemed as if it was just a muscle imbalance that would not be as serious as it is now.”

“I told the doctors about it various times, they knew all about it, but we all thought it was a problem that was related to the pelvic injury. That is why it was not wrong for me to play in the World Cup,” he insisted.

“This is a nightmare, but I am going to do all I can to get fit so that I can win titles in this Real Madrid. I am the first person who wants to see me fully fit,” he said.

Ricky is also supported by his team-mates and the club. Iker Casillas, defends him:

“Kakà is the first injured person. We are all disappointed because he is a fantastic team-mate. Everybody can speak, express his opinion, say what he wants, but people who are close to him  know how he is really”.

Pepe added, “Nobody can doubt the professionalism of Kaká “.

Jorge Valdano added ” Kaka has the total support of the club “.

Jorge Valdano keeps all his confidence to Kaka in spite of the events which he is going trough with an injury depriving him of playing during 4 months: ” His behavior was always correct and we have never doubted him. He has my support and the support of the club. ”

” We are very grateful for the efforts that he realized during the summer to visit several specialists of Sao Paulo for his knee problem. He is an exemplary player and we have never had complaints of him. Now, he has to think to a single thing: recover and get back. “

On my opinion, he should not even have to defend himself. Injuries could arise especially after competitions as the World Cup. He was criticized after WC because he was not at 100%; and now that we know he was injured, he is still criticized because he pushed himself too hard… I think it’s totally unfair. What do you think?

Thank you everyone for the support messages that i m receiving. The artroscopy was very good. I m in Belgium, and in the next days Doctor Marc Martens will allow me to go back to Madrid then i can start doing therapy.

According to his doctor, Marc Martens, Kakà risked his carreer:

“As soon as I saw him I could tell it was serious,”  the specialist told Marca. “His career has come under serious danger.”

Martens believes Kaka pushed himself too hard in South Africa. “He started playing with some niggling injuries and ended up with unbearable pains,” he said. “I understand that it’s a unique competition and that there was pressure, but he pushed himself much too hard against Holland and Chile. He admitted he was in a lot of pain.”

Martens claims the injury could have spelt the end for Kaka as a professional footballer.

“It could have finished his career because it’s a very serious injury – it could have destroyed him,” he said.

“But thank God he has had the operation at the crucial moment and everything has turned out wonderfully,” he said.

Fortunately, he had the surgery a the good moment! We have to support him in this hard moment. Kakà is flying to Madrid, where he will begin the therapy. We hope that he will be back stronger!

What a bad news for our great Kakà… =(  We just learned that Kakà is injured, and it’s not about the pubalgia, he has a (left) knee injury. Our wishes were not fulfillled unfortunately, he did not finish with injuries this season. He left L.A. and his team-mates for Belgium. We share with you the news that we have from RM.com:

After arriving at preseason camp in Los Angeles and while undergoing the pertinent medical prior to training with the team, Real Madrid’s Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite, “Kaka”, mentioned discomfort in his left knee.

Upon further review and several complementary tests, it is suspected that there may be an injury to the meniscus, which could require athroscopic surgery.

Also noticed during the medical was clear improvement of the sports hernia following that preventitive work the Sanitas – Real Madrid Medical Services asked the player to do during his vacation after the World Cup.

The player is on his way to Belgium accompanied by Dr. Carlos Diez. There he will be examined by Dr. Marc Martens, a specialist whose services were requested by both Sanitas – Real Madrid Medical Services and the player himself.

UPDATE:

The operation performed on the left knee of Real Madrid C. F.’s Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite ‘Kaka’ by Dr. Marc Martens at Antwerp’s AZ Monica Hospital was a success.

The arthroscopic surgery confirmed an injury to the left meniscus with minimal inflammation of the cartilage. The player is expected to miss three to four months.

All the fans support Kakà =) we hope that he will be back soon!!! You can send support messages on his twitter account.  The season begin bad, but it will end well… Better days are coming!
