I stumble upon the website of Manila Bulletin – one of the respected national broadsheets n the Philippines and found out that they actually have an online version of the newspaper. Of course most of them have but unlike the usual version of most of these media, Manila Bulletin’s rendering has two different internet variations, the usual posts of articles in their website and the pdf type online true replication of the actual paper sheets as exactly what appear on the newsstands’ versions called the Manila Bulletin e-paper.

All you have to do to enjoy this convenient is to register an account as you are prompted and there you go, you can get manila Bulletin right at your PC, at your Own Time, at your convenience. There are many functionalities available, like you can download a pdf copy of the entire edition, you can click on each segment of every single page in such a way you can have s closer look onto the articles and posters/images and many more. Text articles once enlarged can be copied as if it is just on a webpage (obviously, it’s not a picture).

Visit www.mb.com.ph and click on the Manila Bulletin e-paper banner on the right sidebar just underneath the classifieds banner and you will be brought to the pressmart page and enjoy.

After talking with my Aunties (the passengers whom I booked for their Cebu-Kalibo flight) they decided to just drop by the Organic Office of CEB in Cebu as they will be there by tomorrow via CEB also. With this, we decided to go back again to the CEB Office in Marymart for the Third time to get further details on how to go about it to the office in Cebu. The agent also suggested to bring with them a copy of the Bank Statement to prove that the amount has been deducted. What a hassle I went to the bank to ask for it. Hopefully this would solve the problem, or else it could a lifetime for me to get the refund.

Now I conclude that Cebu Pacific Air is really not a good alternative for your travels and they will just suck the money out of you with their so called “Lowest Fares” (which is not actually low). They have a sucking Customer Service and inutile policies in their company. A grabby and hostile air company, that thinks only for their own at the expense of their customers. This airline really sucks there are  so many different stories and complaints against them recently, explicit and many are not heard. I DECIDED NOT TO TRANSACT WITH CEBU PACIFIC ANYMORE.

This incident had deprived me of many important things I could have done, I actually did not get to Roxas City today for the ONE Visayas Expo because I was here processing this bloody futile thing with this damn airline.

Masbate is a tourism destination in the Philippines, with several white sand beaches, inland resorts and cool diving sites. You can go from trekking to diving which makes Masbate an adventure tourism haven in the country. Not to mention it is the Rodeo Capital of the Philippines. Masbate Airport is one of the gateways to reach this side of the country. However, the airport’s  runway  was renovated since 2008 that made the airport idle for almost 2 years and now it has been opened for operations. One of the first airline to service the airport even before renovations was the defunct Asian Spirit airline. Asian Spirit is now known as the  Zest Air – the most refreshing airline, as relaunched with more fleets to serve its destinations in the Philippines. Starting January 18, 2010 Zest Air resumes daily flights from Masbate to Manila and vice versa.

Regular fare Manila-Masbate v.v. is P5,200 however you can have it for less when you book your flight earlier or through online depending on the ongoing promos on specific dates. This year’s Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010 (PIHABF) will be held at Clark in Pampanga. The 15th edition of this much awaited event in the Philippines is expected to be grander with light plane and sky diving exhibitions and more spectacles.

Dubbed as the biggest one-day performing arts festival, Pasinaya 2010: CCP Open House Festival is the opening salvo of the National Arts Month in February. The event will be held in all venues of the CCP including the Front Lawn, the Promenade areas and the alley in front of the Production Design Center.

Highlights include the biggest gathering of “Tinikling” (bamboo dance) dancers at the CCP Front Lawn entitled “Bonggang Bonggang Bamboo: The Tinikling Showdown”.

The public is invited to “see all they can, pay what they can” from 9am till 5pm. Various activities will be held in different “Zones” all over the CCP.

CCP Resident Companies regale audiences with snippets of their performance seasons in the Resident Company zone. Featured are Ballet Philippines, Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company, National Music Competitions for Young Artists, Philippine Ballet Theater, Philippine Madrigal Singers, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, Tanghalang Pilipino and the University of Sto. Tomas Symphony Orchestra. Other such zones are the Music Zone, Dance Zone, Theater Zone, Film Zone, Literary Zone, Visual Arts Zone, and the Children’s Zone.

Pasinaya 2010 offers workshops, information booths, exhibits, film screenings, puppet shows, storytelling, performance poetry, a culinary fair and cooking demos, and an arts and collectibles market. The CCP Pasinaya is held annually, and seeks to increase awareness of the CCP performance season and programs. This year’s Pasinaya is expected to draw crowds to the CCP anew as it offers audiences a day of fun and excellent entertainment through the popular “see-all-you-can, pay-what-you-can” scheme.
