JCRD had a successful night on Saturday with the Trainwrecks taking the Win against Greeley, Colorado's Slaughterhouse Prime Cuts, 156-141. Congrats to the Trainwrecks on their 3rd win this season!

In the second bout of the night, the undefeated Railway Banditas took on the (0-2) Hilltop Aces (Acer-shocks). The Banditas took the lead and kept running in the first half; 74-58. During the second half, the Aces dug in their toe stops and did some damage and were able to take their first win of the 2011 season, final score; 178-94.

Congratulations to our newest batch of fresh meat! We have 5 new bright, eyed, and bushy tailed skaters joining our ranks!! Welcome to JCRD!

Stay tuned for our next bout coming up August 20th.

First Junction City Roller Doll's Trainwrecks are taking on Slaughterhouse Derby Girls. Last time these two teams met, Slaughterhouse took the W, but this time the Trainwrecks are determined to take this one.

Following that, the Railway Banditas (1-0) are going up against the Hilltop Aces (0-2). Banditas were victorious the last time they were matched up and the Aces are looking for W this season, so who will reign supreme?

The number of people living with multiple sclerosis increases every hour of every day. This astonishing rate is not going to slow down, let alone stop, until we've found a cure. Research has made some incredible advances recently, but the world can still only offer disease management drugs and therapies to the 400,000 people living with MS in America.

We've formed a team for the MS Walk because the National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research than any other private organization. In addition to supporting studies which hope to reveal the cause and course of the disease, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society also provides much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS - including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and the healthcare professionals who work with them.

Our league is skater owned and managed women’s flat track roller derby league developing independent strong female skaters by promoting a sisterhood to work as a team and a family. Each member is encouraged to express their own personality, athleticism, showmanship and dynamic personalities in a fun and exciting atmosphere. In addition, the league encourages to actively give back by teaming up with affiliations that better the community as a whole. Extreme sport for extreme women, kicking butts and having fun doing it.
