Jen gave birth to our baby boy on Monday, September 14th at 10:44pm. He weighed in at 9 pounds and 10 ounces and measured 22 inches. We are very happy to be home now and to begin our new lives together as a family.

A lot of people showed up an we got lots of really great stuff for our soon to be born boy.

I didn’t go to the shower but I was close by at my local watering hole hanging out with a few friends.

My mom and sister put the whole thing together and as usual they did a knock out job. One of the coolest things was the cake!

This is the first father’s day that has meant anything to me since my dad’s passing. When you aren’t a dad and don’t have a dad then the day kinda falls off the calendar as it has for me for many years now. Well, it’s good to have it back.

We’ve been having a hard time getting away for a trip but managed to go for a little stay-cation at a bed and breakfast in Newport Beach. It was a great time and as you can see, the baby makes the belly go round. Jen is 27 weeks in this photo.

My mom is great (and very helpful with Jen being pregnant), we’re comfortable, we’re saving money. All good things.

Our search for a new home is continuing and going well. We’ve found some good neighborhoods that we’d love to raise a family in and have seen some good homes. We’re still looking but haven’t found THE place yet.
