Ever wanted to make money in the comfort of your own home? Well you can do that very easily - one of the more popular ways is by filling out online surveys for money. You can make a lot of money by filling out surveys for major public corporations.

Most of these surveys are product or service based where you are reviewing a new offering from a major company. You may get questions about how often do you eat out a month? How many movies have you gone to in the last year? Have you ever used Amazon to buy electronics? These are just a few of the different questions you may get when filling out online surveys for money.

Living in Dallas and filling out paid surveys is a piece of cake. If you are a stay at home looking to make a few extra dollars or you recently lost your job - what better way to put a little cash in your pocket?

Many of the paid surveys will get you anywhere from $5 to $75 depending on how many questions there are and which companies are offering it. Make sure you are careful which email address you sign up with. If you already have a job, don’t put your work email in the paid survey sign up as you could end up getting offers for other products and you don’t need that to your work address.

What I like to do is create a separate email address that I use specificall for these paid surveys - that way I can consolidate all my information in one account.

There is plenty of money to make in this - if you can do just 5 surveys in a day you could make anywhere from $35 to $100 a day - add in a few Dalls focus groups and you can make close to $200 a day just by filling out information from the comfort of your own home.

I first learned about this over 6 months ago and have made over $1,000 just in my spare time. It really is painless and is a great way to earn some money at home - for me it was great on weekends and nights when I would normally be watching tv. I busted out my laptop and started filling out these surveys. If you would also like to start earning money today with paid surveys - CLICK HERE

Today admin assistants are responsible for a number of different activities. Many admin assistants can be expected to perform graphic design work, scheduling, reporting and billing functions that really make their roles and responsibilities quite diverse. Also plan to set up conference calls, schedule meetings use Microsoft Outlook, book conference rooms and even order food for executive meetings. You have to wear many hats as an admin assistant so be prepared to do something almost every other day as the needs of different managers change and your role in the company evolves.

Dallas is a city with over 1 million people, so there are plenty of administrative assistant jobs for some large banking, communications, information technology, health care and energy clients all throughout the area. Some of the businesses located in Dallas include: AT&T, Lucent, Nortel, Verizon, Sprint, Cisco and many other technology businesses. Dallas is quickly becoming the Silicon Valley of the South. You can also find Kimberly-Clark, 7-Eleven, Neiman Marcus, Electronic Data Systems, Frito Lay, JCPenney and the Dr. Pepper Group. These large public corporations are almost always looking for administrative assistant help, so you should apply with many of them and you are bound to get a job pretty quickly.

There are some outstanding communities in the Dallas area where you can find assistant jobs: downtown, Main Street District, Famers Market, West Village and the Reunion District.
It helps if you have some strong computer skills as an admin assistant. Knowing how to work Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are pretty much expected, so if you don’t know how to work those applications, practice ahead of time so you can hit the ground running when you get your next job. You also have to be very good with people. Admin Assistants are pulled in a million directions and you will need to prioritize tasks that are given to you by people in different levels of management. Be firm, but courteous if you get a task that is overwhelming, let the person know that it might take a while to get to it so you can properly manage their expectations.

Physical Therapy is a great career. If you like helping people, staying fit and being involved with athletics, a job in physical therapy (PT) would be a perfect choice for you. So many people get hurt playing sports or just in every day life and you get the opportunity to help them and get their body back to 100%

Many professional sports teams carry a physical therapist on staff to deal with the myriad of injuries that happen. The Dallas Cowboys carry many trainers and therapists to work on the players to ensure they are operating at full strength and can help the team out on game day.

To practice physical therapy you typically need to attend an additional 4 years of schooling on top of normal college. It can be quite expensive to pursue a career in PT so make sure you have enough money saved up, or access to loans so you can get through your schooling.

After you have graduated, most people look for a clinic in the area to get a job. There are some great physical therapy centers in the Dallas area that are always looking for quality therapists to help work with their clientele. Ideal candidates for PT jobs have a bachelor’s degree, some experience (even if it was just a non-paid internship), the ability to take iniative, great listening skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sometimes difficult patients.

Physical therapy is rewarding - it’s a career that will help keep you fit and at the same time you can help other people out as they recover from their knee, hip and other joint related injuries.

Are you looking for a career in Health Care? During a recession, there are very few occupations that actually maintain or even grow jobs and health care typically holds up strong when the ecomony slows down.

There are many different jobs in the Health Care profession. A common one that is very much sought after is that of a pharmacist. As a pharmacist you would be required to dispense medication and other pharmaceuticals in accordance with all of the Texas and Federal Laws. Of course, you need to go to pharmacy school, but once you come out and find a job - typically at a Walgreens or other drug store, then you’ve got a great and lucrative job. As a pharmacist you would have to be able to interact with other doctors, technicians, nurses and plenty of customers.

There are also great Health Care sales jobs. Many drug companies need sales people to call on doctors to let the doctos know about the latest drugs being offered. If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure or another serious ailment, it’s important that your doctor knows all about the different options that can help save your life. As a sales rep, you will visit many local hospitals and waiting rooms and it requires patience to get that precious few minutes with very busy general practitioners.

Many hospitals are hiring facilities workers and managers. There is so much infrastructure involved with a hospital that just keeping it painted, heated and wired is a full time job for a sizable staff. If you used to work in a construction field, it’s a good idea to consider applying to a hospital for a maintenance job as they pay well and have very steady hours. There are many management positions available as well to help oversee hospital workers and make sure everything stays running smoothly.

If you’ve ever watched Cocktail starring Tom Cruise and thought to yourself, “I’d sure love to live my life as a bartender”, then this article is for you. Also, if you’re the friend who helps make all the drinks at the party and people come to you because you make that extra special gin and tonic, or that outstanding kahlua mudslide, then you were born to be a bartender.

Being a bartender requires many different skills. First and foremost you need to be able to deal with people. At most bars or clubs you will get inundated with people asking you for drinks and you need to make sure to take the bad with the good customers in stride. People will also get pushy - many people want their drink served now and hate waiting. You will also have to deal with rude people who don’t tip, don’t say thanks or complain that there isn’t enough alcohol in their drink. If you can handle these types of people, including the obnoxious drunk, then you are already ahead of the curve and are well prepared for a bartending career.

There are some great bars in Dallas that are hiring today. If you are looking for work in the Arts District, Government District or near the Farmers Market, you will find plenty of clubs, restaurants and bars that are hiring today. Don’t be scared away because of the bad economy, even when times are tough people still drink (and proabably more than they should).

If you are living near SMU, there are some great college bars in the Knox Henderson district that are hiring right away. There are also many other great college bars that are good places to start your career and learn the ropes before moving on to large restaurants and establishments.

If you’ve ever watched modeling shows with models strolling down the runway, and wished you could be like them, then a career in fashion and modeling is what you’re looking for. To find a modeling job in Dallas, your best bet is to start your search on the internet. There are many sites that accept your profile and picture information and help connect you to a photographer so you can find a job.

Two popular sites are Model Locate and New Faces - these have been around for a while and are a good starting place to post your information and find a job. Becoming a model is not as difficult as it seems and there are lots of different types of modeling jobs that you can be involved in. I’m sure you’ve heard of ramp modeling and picture or shoot modeling, but have you ever thought about becoming a hand model (George of Seinfeld was a famous hand model), foot model or any other kind of body model? In many commercials, advertising campaigns, and films, there is a need for a body model to be the hand that holds the credit card, or the legs that are shown off in direct sunlight.

Be wary if you are just starting off in your career. There are many independent agencies or single photographers that might try to take advantage of young women. Many young girls start modeling jobs at a early age and can be very impressionable when faced with an adult that is in a power position.

If you are in Dallas and want to travel your best bet is to make your way to Los Angeles. Many models have started their career their and parlayed their early work into a lucrative acting job. If modeling is your dream, keep at it and you will make it far.

People often take a fancy to various professions without understanding the nuances of the said profession and whether they are indeed suited for that vocation. If for instance, you have taken a fancy to the construction and real estate industry and are apprehensive about your capabilities, it is useful to do a thorough self analysis of yourself. Also, doing some research on the industry and the companies engaged in this industry will set you on the right track. In this situation, working out your skills and abilities - and researching the construction careers out there - will help you to match the two up and discover new career opportunities.

You need to be sure in your mind, whether you can do justice to this industry and for that it is essential to work out your strong points, areas of improvement, the opportunities that this construction industry provides and the negative fall outs if any of this industry. While compiling this analysis, it is absolutely imperative to be honest and candid. There is no use in being kind or giving yourself the benefit of the doubt. You know yourself the best and as long as you can put it down on paper, you are in a better position to take a call on your suitability for a particular industry to make a career. If you are not sure about certain elements about yourself, you may take the assistance of somebody close, either your family, or your work colleagues who know you the best for this exercise.

One way to start is to go into the past and reflect about any prior experience you have had with the industry, or any academic inputs that you have had which will help you. That experience will assist you in putting down things that you liked or did not enjoy.

Thanks to technology, the internet is one resource which can give you a lot of valuable information about anything you want to find out. Check for information on the construction industry, Construction Jobs Dallas TX opportunities or any chance for doing an apprenticeship. The information you pick up will help you vastly in identifying your interest and how you can contribute effectively. It will also serve to isolate any training requirements that you need to undergo.

Surfing the sites of specific companies engaged in this industry will also provide you with very useful facts about the industry. These sites detail the working of the company, the career options, the best practices they follow and also testimonials from their customers. This information will help you to sift companies and select those which meet your interest and where you feel you can be utilized the best. It also prepares you for any interview you need to attend in the future with the prospective company.

The other ideal way is to actually speak to persons involved with the industry and get a first hand perspective from them. They know what it entails on a daily basis and will give you the correct feedback. Lastly, a career counselor will also be of assistance in determining your capability and to advise you on the right career option.

This article is mainly aimed not only at students studying law, but also solicitors under training who are looking out for specific and focused jobs in the legal field. This article would focus on the nuances in the field of law. It also helps in giving an overview on the new opportunities in the field of law and the employment prospects. It also gives a brief idea of the Legal jobs in Dallas TX

Intellectual property law encompasses a lot of subjects, right from technology to the fine arts, from various records to computer related software. This law also includes patent, exclusive rights, brand name infringements as well as other aspects of the law like licensing and violation of the monopolies and trade restriction act thereby not creating a level playing field.

With technological advancements, there is an acute need to protect copyright and patent rights. This is the reason there is always a demand for such jobs that can legally protect the inventor’s property rights and take care of his interests from plagiarism and piracy.

This requirement is felt typically in the pharmaceutical and technological industries where there is always the possibility of patent violation and copyright infringement.

The solicitor often has to work with wide spectra of business, from the small one shop owner to large conglomerates.

Many companies regard the protection of their intellectual rights as an imperative part of their overall business plan. Any delays can set back the company a lot not only in their implementation plans, but also the image of the company. The opportunity loss in not launching on time as well as the actual loss cannot always be calculated. This process brings the solicitor in touch with top experts in their fields from different industries.

This law gives individuals the exclusive chance to combine their professional academics with knowledge of law to create a potent combination which is much sought after by most companies.

Most organizations take on such experts as advisors and these people play an important role. They are consulted by top management, since they know the company working from within and can provide valuable insights. Through this, the solicitor also experiences profound job satisfaction at having contributed meaningfully to the company.

You can find many firms who have specialized in various aspects of intellectual property law. Large legal firms practicing general law have tended to add this service to their portfolio of late, giving them better visibility and boosting their business prospects. The solicitor also gains valuable experience as he is exposed to a wider canvas. It is taxing though, since the targets have to be met.

Intellectual property solicitors have a lot to choose from and can tread their own path, with full knowledge of the fact that they will always be in demand.
