In 2009, techno-dance group m.o.v.e released their first cover album anim.o.v.e, featuring duets with anime voice actors. A year later, the group returns with anim.o.v.e 02, the second album of the series. Similar to the series’ first album, anim.o.v.e 2 features the group’s collaboration with anime voice actors, covering various popular vocaloid songs. The album also features the “Vocaloid Arena” section, which includes two songs remixed in vocaloid style. Popular vocaloid music video illustrator KEI is responsible for the illustrations in the album packaging and the booklet.
