As a parents of twins girls (non-identical) it was emotional to observe some of the pleasures and pains we have been through, but multiplied by 2 again! What really fascinated me was that the Mother brought up her four daughters, now aged five, exactly the same. It's strange in that for 21 months we were counting consecutive sleep through. In that time their record was 5 nights (once) and 3 nights (3 times). It's astonishing how you can adapt to sleep deprivation. There we were in the first 6 month living off a few hours sleep a night. On Sundays they do something called the Comedy Showcase where 15, yes 15 comedians all do a 10 minute routine each. It is a testbed for new material some got huge laughs, some got uncomfortable silences! With Hattie now days away from crawling we are about to enter a new phase. It's both exciting but daunting at the prospect of the girls dashing off in opposite directions! They are totally gorgeous, and really learning to interact. Feeding each other, putting hands in each others mouths. Laughing and playing together. type="text">Back in London</title><summary type="html">After 2 weeks working from home following my minor opp (having metal plate and screws removed from my left ankle) I am back in the London office. It's been fantastic spending so much time with Nanette and the girls. During this time Maisy started sitting up and talking loads more, Hattie sleeps on her tummy now and both are saying da da da da da! On Friday we went to Dads where the kids were really on form. We popped out for a drive as it was raining and visited Battlers Green Farm Village. Was OK, nice farm shop. Popped into the tea rooms where I embarrassed myself by calling a little girl a little boy - doh!
