I’ve been thinking. There are a lot of people dealing with lost income right now… whether you have lost a job, your sales are down… or maybe your living expenses have gone up recently. It is tough for so many. A few weeks ago, we learned that my husband is to be laid off next month. Thirteen years ago we were in the same boat… and that is when I started selling on Amazon and eBay - and it saved us. I don’t know if you are faced with similar circumstances… but, I do know that if you are - there is lots of opportunity selling online! Selling used toys on eBay and/or Amazon is just one option out there… and NOW is the time to take advantage of it. I’ve just finished putting the final touches on the 2013 Summer Toy Guide… and I am thrilled with the vast resource it is for sellers! If you are selling used toys on eBay, take a look at what the silver package includes: - Summer Toy Guide ebook ($27) - Secrets to Garage Sale Profits ($17) - Online Toy Reference Guide Access ($30) - 3 Monthly Reports listing items selling on eBay As a bundle, it’s only $27 with this special link: https://wahmcart.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?adminid=22&pid=9613&quickbuy=1 OR… Are you looking to sell on Amazon? I’ve partnered up with Jordan Malik to offer you everything included above plus 2 great resources for selling used toys online: 1. 118 Toys and Games you can Buy Locally and resell on Amazon +eBay by Jordan Malik ($27) 2. How to Buy Low on eBay and sell High on Amazon (B.L.E.S.H.A.) by Jordan Malik ($19.99) Separately you’d pay over $120 for the gold package… but, with this special link, it’s only $47: https://wahmcart.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?adminid=22&pid=9612&quickbuy=1 Even better… I am super excited to offer GOLD members a special upgrade to ItsDewable.com. You’ll find details on the inside… but this is a special you won’t want to miss! Enjoy! Jenni PS. I’ve been thrilled to hear how many of you have enjoyed my free report I sent out a short while back about using Garage Sales for Inventory. If you haven’t gotten your copy - you can download it here: http://mytoyguide.com/summer/2013GSaleInventoryPlan.pdf

[Online Creativity Newsletter] In This Issue: 1. Spring Clean Up - Start Here Program 2. Online Business Tune-Up Hello ~ It’s Jenni from Online Creativity… if you haven’t noticed, I’ve been busy around here - and I am super excited to continue to share with you what I’ve been working on. In this issues, we talk a bit about spring cleaning… and as much as I could go on and on about spring cleaning my home, here it’s all about spring cleaning my business. Enjoy! And Happy (soon to be) spring… Jenni www.jennihunt.com ——– 1. Spring Cleaning - Start Here Program ——– Spring is almost here and I am cleaning house! One of the things I am most passionate about in my business is training and helping others - I just LOVE it when I get emails like this one: “All in all I think your course is very worthwhile. The price is a bargain. I consider your course to be the best value I have spent money on to learn how to do things on the internet. I am a fan of yours and will seriously consider purchasing anything you offer to help me establish and improve my marketing efforts on the internet.” So… my focus in ’cleaning house’ has been to go through my Start Here Program. I want to make sure I am offering you the step-by-step help… in the areas that you need it most as you grow your online business. Last week I shared with you my latest course that I have developed teaching you how to use Facebook to build your mailing list… (http://www.starthereprogram.com/facebook) This week I have been working on a revamp for my Blogging course. I am very excited about where this course is going because it is very comprehensive - yet presented in simple, step-by-step lessons. But, what is really cool is that I’m adding a whole set of VIDEOS to the existing 6 month course. As the course is ’under construction’, I’ve decided to offer the videos as a stand alone course! If you have been wanting to build a WordPress website or blog, now just might be the time to jump on the bandwagon. You can learn more about the video’s here: https://wahmcart.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?adminid=22&pid=9530&quickbuy=1 Remember, there are 30 videos - all dedicated to teaching the ins and outs of installing and setting up WordPress. Here are a few topics that are covered: Installing and updating WordPress How to clean up a new WordPress blog How to Change Your Permalinks Structure How to Use and Format Images in WordPress How to Install Plugins Automatically How to Use WordPress Widgets in the Sidebar Adding and Managing Users in WordPress [...]

I’ve been thinking… about the economy… about running a small business… and the question came to my mind - What if you had to start over? I have to say, the best thing I ever did for my business was find mentors early on. When I first started selling on eBay, I got involved with a group of other women who were doing very similar things I was doing… and I met Jim Cockrum. I am convinced that seeking out mentors had a huge impact on my business early on. If I had to start over again in my business, I would seek out a handful (2-3) mentors and stay focused. Here are a few of my favorite mentors: Jim Cockrum’s My Silent Team: Seriously - a wealth of information and encouragement here! I can’t recommend it enough! Jimmy D. Brown: Jimmy is an amazing teacher… and if you are looking to get more involved in internet marketing, he is one of the best to follow. FBAFinds: Are you an Amazon seller looking for a place to connect? Check out FBAFinds. They have a forum with experts offering support and a great thriving community to help you with FBA. How about you? What would you do if you had to start over in your business? Jenni Hunt www.jennihunt.com PS. Don’t forget… if you have a Facebook Fan page and aren’t directing your traffic to your mailing list - you are leaving money on the table! Learn how to harness your Facebook traffic to your mailing list right inside of your Facebook timeline page with my new Start Here Training course: http://www.starthereprogram.com/facebook - just $12 for a limited time!

Hi, Here is what we are talking about today… 1. The Real Value of Customer Feedback 2. Last Chance for Used Halloween Costume List Enjoy! Jenni www.jennihunt.com - - - - - - - - Real Value of Customer Feedback - – - – - – - - I have been working on a website for a local Labradoodle Breeder this summer. We moved her website over to WordPress and have been meeting regularly to hammer out an internet marketing strategy. Today we talked about building an email marketing campaign… and as we were brainstorming content options for her emails, I brought up asking her current Facebook friends and customers what they would like to see in a regular email. Do you ever get caught in the trap of thinking you need to portray a certain image of having all the answers with your customers and/or readers? Sometimes we think we have to know it all with our customers or with those we interact with in our business world… when the truth is, there is incredible value in asking your customer questions or just plain listening to them. Back in 2003, I had just started my HuntedTreasure subscription site offering research on used children’s items. At the time I had an idea of where I wanted my business to go… but, no planning could have prepared me for where it went - and really, it’s all because I listened to my customers and readers! I wish I could remember her name… but, in October of 2003 I received an email loaded with questions about how to sell toys during the holidays on eBay. I spent a lot of time answering all of her questions… and then realized that she probably wasn’t the only one with those excellent questions. I threw her questions and my answers (along with other great info about listing on eBay and researching holiday toys) into a pdf and created a short report that has since grown into the Holiday Toy Guide. Although I never expected the Holiday Toy Guide to grow like it has, it has become one of largest revenue generators in my product offering line-up… All because I listened to my customer’s needs and took it one step further to offer the information I was giving to all my readers. I want to encourage you to embrace the value of customer feedback (even the negative is something we can learn from). Take the time to ask your customers what they are interested in. Take note of the questions they are asking you. And grow your business to offer a [...]

After hearing how easy it was to publish on the Kindle, I couldn’t wait to try it myself and report back to you guys… I finally published my Pinterest course - and boy did I make some mistakes! I’m already working on a new series with my husband and am applying what I learned. Fortunately, if you are interested in self-publishing on the Kindle - you don’t have to make the same kind of mistakes I did… because I have documented what I learned and have included what you SHOULD do in the latest Start Here Training Course for you! (If you aren’t familiar with my Start Here Training Program - you can learn about it here: http://www.StartHereProgram.com) I have to say - the actual publishing part is super easy! In fact, I would say that it isn’t anymore complicated than listing an item on eBay… it is really in the preparation that can make or break your profits - and I walk through all of them in the Self Publishing on the Kindle Start Here Training Course. In the course, I will teach you how to research on Amazon for ideas that will sell on Amazon. Don’t make the mistake I did and conduct market and key-word research that isn’t specific to Amazon… Sure, I wrote about a hot topic (Pinterest) - but, it didn’t occur to me at the time, that I was publishing in a very competitive and saturated market space. In this course, you’ll learn how to not make that same mistake and get deep in your niche to have the biggest impact with your market. You will also learn how the do’s and don’ts for Kindle publishing. I learned that self-publishing on the Kindle isn’t the same ball game as just writing an eBook for your niche to put up on Clickbank! There is a super cool (and simple) strategy that will tap into Amazon’s promotional tools and increase your visibility big time! Instead of going on and on… I decided to give you a bit of a preview of the Self-Publishing for Kindle Start Here Training Course by sharing an excerpt. You can download the excerpt HERE. For one week, you can get the course for $17… then the price goes up. You’ll need to act quickly - because as with all of my courses, once I reach 100 students, I close the doors for a while. This allows me to answer questions more effectively so you have bigger success. Here is the link to get immediate access to the course for $17. Enjoy!

I was reading one of my favorite blogs about home décor. The blogger was talking about how sometimes we think that the only way to make our homes look nicer is to go buy something new for it. Her suggestion was to take all the ’extras’ out of a room and sort of start over with what you already have. Often times we will find that just adding less back into the room is all that is needed for a fresh look. Isn’t that true of our business sometimes? If you are like me - sometimes it is easy to go off getting the next new thing thinking it will make everything fresh and new… but, over and over I seem to learn the lesson that the best thing I can do for my business is look at what I already have and rework it. I have received more emails than I can count of people who are always looking at what’s hot that week and spending loads of money for it. The problem is that if you are always pouring your energy and money into the latest trend… the chances of it having an impact on your business are actually pretty slim. The reason is - that you aren’t able to build up momentum with what you are currently doing. Instead you are often just adding to all the other stuff and spreading yourself super thin. Maybe you are discouraged by slow sales… maybe your mailing list isn’t growing like you thought it would… perhaps you are struggling through writing your first ebook… Whatever it is that you are struggling with in your business today - maybe it’s time to remove the clutter and focus in so you can gain momentum on what you currently have doing. Trouble shooting your business… If it’s slow sales and you want to continue selling… maybe you have been in a listing rut and it’s time to take a step back and re-evaluate how you are listing your items. Or, maybe your market has changed and you need to take the time to learn how to best meet the needs of your audience. If your mailing list isn’t growing like you thought it would, maybe you need to see how much traffic is coming to your site. Is the traffic slow? Then, look at improving your traffic. If you have good traffic but not many joining your mailing list, then maybe you need a better reason for people to sign up. Do you have an incentive for people to leave their name and email address with you? If you are struggling with writing your first ebook… maybe you need a course walking you through each step involved… or, perhaps you need to hire someone else to do the writing for you. Sometimes simply looking at what you already have and improving it is all you need to see momentum building. You can then use that momentum to move into new areas to market what you are currently doing. I recommend starting with a plan that works for YOU. Building a plan for you and your business… There are so many ways you can build your business plan. But, I believe the most important thing is to have a plan and stick to it. This goes with what we have been discussing… sticking to your plan helps you build momentum… and that momentum will help your business grow. Your plan doesn’t have to be fancy and complicated. In fact, it could be just a list of things you want to implement. Start with one and master it… then move on down your list. Sometimes there might be some overlap - but, remember, the idea is to focus and [...]

Online Creativity (Previously Auction Strategists) – – – – – – Hi , Here is what we are talking about today… 1. Costumes, costumes, costumes! 2. What to pay for costumes 3. What to do between now and the end of the year Enjoy! Jenni www.jennihunt.com – – – – – – I have found something I like to pick up while I’m hitting yard sales… costumes!! Usually we don’t really talk about costumes until August - but, it occurred to me that even though you probably won’t be selling used costumes until then, NOW is the time to pick them up at yard sales. So - I got in touch with my friend Sherah Taylor again (she wrote the Secrets To Garage Sale Bargains that is with the Summer Toy Guide this year) and asked her about a great resource she put together about buying used costumes to resell. I was able to work out another great deal for you guys… :-) First of all - a word about costumes… Used costumes are a great item to resell. You can pick them up at yard sales $1-$10 regularly! In fact, one year I picked up an entire bin full of costumes for just 5 bucks… one of the costumes was a Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) costume and I resold it for $40. You can also pick up used costumes at thrift shops and consignment stores, but they won’t usually show up there until September… and you’ll pay more than at yard sales. So - here is what I suggest. I recommend picking up costumes at yard sales this summer… then as you get closer into the season for selling Halloween costumes (August - early October) you have a couple of choices. First of all - you can resell your costumes on eBay or Amazon… even Craigslist. Secondly - if you find that you have costumes that aren’t selling well for you in August and early September, you can bring them to a consignment shop and upgrade for other costumes or items (toys) that will do better for you. Usually you walk out ahead on this because of the super low price you paid for the costumes at yard sales. If you don’t know what to look for - you need to read on. Secrets of Hot Selling Halloween Costumes is a fantastic resource with loads of information for selling USED costumes. Like used toys, used costumes are an amazing seller and can lead you right into the Holiday selling season… in fact, Sherah lists over 250 costumes that tend to sell for $20-$80 on eBay during the Halloween season. Sherah KNOWS costumes! She has made loads selling them herself. Every year I hear how she picked up a USED Disney BOO costume for about 10 bucks… and easily turns it around for a huge profit (of over $100!). It’s a short selling season - which means you don’t have to hold onto your inventory long… and it is well [...]
