The PlayStation 3, more commonly referred to as the PS3, is the most advanced of the current generation video game consoles in the market. It costs more than either the Microsoft 360 or the Nintendo Wii, but it’s worth every cent.

With the cell processor, Internet access, online gameplay, and blu-ray player, you’ll feel that the only thing it can’t do is iron your clothes. Also, with games like Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy XIII, and God of War III, you’ll feel like you’re playing a movie rather than a video game.

Of course, the PS3 is not a console for the average gamer, parents looking for a video console for their children will go for the Wii or even the Xbox 360. But for the hard core gamer that has to have it all, there’s nothing that compares with the pride of owning a PS3.

There is one catch. While being designed with blu-ray technology, PS3 games are still discs, and because of this, they can get scratches. There’s nothing more frustrating that having your game freeze on you right before the final boss fight because your little brother or roommate dropped the game while inserting it into the console. And at $60 a game, it’s not something to dismiss lightly.

That’s why more and more gamers have started to copy PS3 games. If you think that it’s illegal to copy PS3 games because it’s considered piracy, it is not. As long as you copy Original PS3 games for backup purposes, you’re OK. You’ll only incur in piracy if you distribute or sell those copies to other people.

You see, PS3 games are very similar to computer programs. When you buy a game, you’re not only buying a disc with software on it. You’re also buying a license that allows you to use the software included in the game for your own, personal, and not transferable use. Thus, you’re allowed to copy PS3 games it as long as you keep the copies for your personal use, but you’re not allowed to sell or even give those copies without compensation because you’re not allowed to transfer the software.

Therefore, smart players copy PS3 games. This is specially useful if you don’t live by yourself and your games are kept in the living room where everyone can have access to them. Just make a backup copy, leave it in the living room, and put the original away in your room. A scratch will not ruin your day this way.

Now Pay Close Attention Here-

Surviving in Left for Dead 2 on impossible can be quite a task. Here are some tips to help you survive the horde of zombies.

Always stay with the team you are trying to survive here not get the most kills. Make pairs of 2 and keep a close eye on each other. It is easy to keep track of one friend who’s back you have to watch at all times.

The most important thing in this game is communication. If you don’t use a mic you are a burden to the team. Warn your team every time you hear a special unit and if you get captured by them let your team know immediately even a 1 second delay can mean your death.

If you are in front duck down this way your allies can still shoot without killing you. 2 People should be in front ducking down while the other 2 fire from behind. The front 2 can take a close range gun like the shotgun and when the hordes starts to overpower the team switch to melee weapons.

Make sure that at least one member in the team carries a Molotov, a Molotov is perfect for killing a tank and can save you the round if your team is dead and you have to face the tank alone.

In cases where you have to press a button and then fight your way to the next one is the perfect time to use your pipe bombs, throw 1 switch to melee weapons and make as much ground as you can then throw another one and if needed later even a third one.

Heal your allies when they are about to die and don’t have med packs, yes you will need it later but you won’t make it to later if you team mate is dead.

In a floundering and sluggish economy games to play now could be the perfect recreation with your folks. It’s the way to bond and bring us back to true family values. In the earlier years of my life we spent many a night sitting around the kitchen table playing board games. Games to play now is the perfect recreation and a good way to socialize and keep in touch with the lives of every individual in your own family.

Today we tend to go go go, and never take some time to bring back the family cost of playing games at home to save money and challenge our brains. Our families are our main priority and going back to the days of game night with your kids is a wonderful idea. There are so many sorts of games to play now as a perfect recreation a family would never lose interest or feel mundane.

Starting simply with card games using chores as payment to the winner makes the nights even more fun. Challenging ideas in creating who picks the game of the night, and the prize for the winner is quite as much fun as playing the games themselves. For instance, we drew straws to see who picked the game to play now, and mom made an appetiser menu for game time which we all helped prepare. This took the family experience to a different level and made us look forward to game night.

We’d search store shelves searching for the new and leading edge games on the market. Mom would allow us to save and buy the new games in expectation of playing games now. We laughed and shared over a night of board games. The excitement of reading the instructions and mastering the games was half the fun . Little did we all know mom had her way with challenging us and mentally stimulating us with our game playing.
Many games target mathematics, reading, matching, etc . Mom knew that the time we spent together as a family with games to play now would build good personality talents as well as organizational abilities and the simplicity of guffawing over our conquests.

Games to play now is the perfect recreation and is something that each family should cherish. Now that we are grown adults, we continue to look forward to mom calling and exclaiming “Hey let’s schedule a game night”. We snort about our adolescence, show our competitiveness, and bond over our past game nights.

Playing games now is a tradition that every family should share and cherish. As we grow older and create our own game nights with our now growing families. We also play games over the Net so that when we cannot be together we are “technically” together as most web games to play now permit you to discuss as well as play the game at hand .

Xbox 360 red lights flashing when you try to turn the console on indicates that it is malfunctioning due to some problem and that it requires service. When your console works normally it has green lights. The lights come from LEDs arranged in a circular pattern.

There are different patterns to Xbox 360 red lights flashing since they flash in varying arrangements. The pattern of flashing lights will give you a pretty clear indication of what the problem is.

If all sections, i.e., sections 1, 2, 3 and 4, are flashing red it indicates that the AV cable cannot be detected. This is the easiest to fix. You have to make sure that it is properly connected, disconnecting and reconnecting it again to the console if necessary. Try cleaning the tip of the AV pack with a dry cloth before reconnecting it to ensure that it doesn’t have any dirt or grime preventing it from making a connection.

If it is sections 1, 3 and 4 that are flashing red, it indicates a general hardware failure. This is something that all Xbox owners dread, giving how much they have spent to purchase their gaming consoles. You could try removing the hard drive after turning the console off and then turn it on again. If this time the three red lights are not flashing, you can turn it off and reattach the hard drive. If it still doesn’t work and your console is still within warranty, it would be best to send it to the manufacturer for repairs.

If sections 1 and 3 are flashing, it means that your gaming console is overheating. This could be due to a simple physical problem blocking ventilation in your Xbox. You can do nothing more than wait for a couple of hours while the temperature comes down. Keep the Xbox in a cool, well ventilated place and keep it along with its surroundings clean and dust free. Don’t put it in the freezer or a cold place in order to hasten the cooling because you will cause it to short due to internal condensation.

If section 4 on your game console is blinking, it means that there is a hardware failure as indicated by the error code. There are different error codes for various types of hardware failure.

You can decide upon your course of action once you are able to identify the reason for the Xbox 360 red lights flashing.

Drakengard was released in English (it was released under the name Drag-On Dragoon in Japan) in the summer of 2004 and while the game never became very big or sold very much it became a cult hit due to a certain number of factors. Drakengard is an action rpg with gameplay elements very reminiscent of the Panzer Dragoon series but also mixes in Dynasty Warriors into itself and with the help of everything else surrounding the game, it becomes a unique game capable of standing on its own feet.

The story in Drakengard seems like nothing out of the ordinary at first but it quickly takes a turn and becomes intriguing and very bizarre and I’m not going to mention what they changed and censored from the original Japanese release! It starts out by having the main character Caim rushing towards a castle under attack by the empire to protect his sister trapped within. Caim sustains a grave injury on the battlefield but still rushes towards the castles courtyard only to find an injured and chained dragon there. Remembering that his parents were killed by a dragon Caim raises his sword to finish the dragon off when he suddenly yells out to the dragon that they both are going to die very soon and so Caim suggests a pact between them and reluctantly the dragon agrees.

The pact invigorates them both, healing them from their injuries but the pacts mark is found on Caims tongue and thus he loses his ability talk, leaving the dragon to talk for him. From here on he rushes into the castle, finding his sister Furiae and saving her and in doing so manages to save the seal. It is during this cut scene we find out that Furiae is a part of a seal. Should Furiae pass away the seal would be broken and the world will fall. It’s decided that the empire, seeking to destroy these seals, must be destroyed to protect the seals and Caim with help from his newfound ally sets out to do just this.

During their travels toward the empire they encounter several allies who agree to help them in their goal. Leonard who is a kind-hearted man, constantly tormented by his faults and past mistakes and is tricked into a pact with a faerie which robs him of his sight. Arioch who was a loving mother and driven mad by the murder of her family which the empire is responsible for and becomes a murder with an obsession for babies. She enters a pact with the elementals Undine and Salamander and loses her fertility. Lastly there is Seere, a 6 year old boy possessed with the gift of prophecy and watched his village get destroyed. Shortly after Seere found a golem and entered a pact with it, losing his “time” and cannot age due to this.

Eventually Furiae get’s taken by the empire and Caim rushes after her once again only to eventually find her and learn that his sister is in love with him. Caim looks away in disgust and she cannot bear this. Furiae grabs a close knife and stick it into her heart and so the seal breaks. The sky darkens and crack open and into the world a race called the “Grotesqueries” appear. These grotesque beings resemble giant human infants with teeth. The seal is broken and the world is filled with Grotesqueries. There is no happy ending to this game even though there is five different ones each one is more sad and bizarre than the other.

Drakengard enjoys its status as a cult hit and even received a sequel, Drakengard 2. While the second game shifted somewhat away from the dark story the fans fell in love with in the first one it is a worthy sequel. Drakengard is a game I truly recommend people to play if only for its unique story that is extremely enjoyable on very memorable.

Nintendo Wii gaming systems are incredibly popular, and not just with individual gamers. Many Wii purchases have become family affairs with mom and dad joining with the kids to compete and show off their skills. The sound and the graphics are top notch. Unfortunately, the games themselves are quite expensive. The thought of losing one through loss or damage is scary when you consider the cost of replacement. DVD disks are quite fragile. One simple mistake or careless movement can destroy a favorite game. Wise gamers, often after having learned the hard way, have learned how to burn Wii games. They have acquired software that is specially designed for making backup Wii games, and they make these backups as soon as they bring a new game home.

For those who have felt that they might be immune to such accidents have had to find ways to try to repair damage to their original disks. There are kits available for fixing minor scratches, but they can only work for so long. Eventually, no matter how careful you are, your disks will become damaged. Just routine use over a long period can cause enough damage to a game disk that it will eventually fail to play. No matter how you slice it, making backup Wii games is the best insurance around for protecting your expensive entertainment investment.

If you’re thinking you can burn Wii games using the software that you already have for copying music, pictures, and videos – forget it. That software does not have the capability of bypassing the copy protection scheme that is embedded in the game software. The copies won’t work. You’ll need to acquire a good game copying software application that can handle the copy protection code and make playable backup copies of the games. Fortunately, that software is available for download from several sites on the Internet. With a good copy, you can backup Wii games effortlessly.

Think of the cost of buying new games to replace damaged or lost games. Compare that cost with the small cost of investing in game copying software. You’ll save both stress and money in the long run. Simply saving one Wii game will pay for the game copying software. Once you’ve learned to how to backup Wii games, making backup copies will be as easy as copying your favorite music CDs. Learning how is not a problem.

All of the good game copying software applications come with explicit onscreen instructions, and are usually supported by a website that features step-by-step tutorials, and email customer support.

The new AVP videogame is out after several poor attempts at Alien, Predator and AVP games, begging the question have producers Rebellion finally created a videogame to satisfy the hardcore AVP fans?

The answer in brief is yes. Released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Games for Windows the new AVP video game contains three campaigns, allowing the player to control the hunter, survivor or prey. Starting on the Coloniel Marines campaign, you begin as the rookie of the team on a small spacecraft that witnesses a gigantic Predator ship obliterate your mothership. Of course the only option available is for your vessel to land on an undisclosed planet.

The next cutscene features your character waking up after blacking out from the drop, and being told by Tequila (closely resembling Vasquez from Aliens) that this mission will become a “bug hunt”. The next few stages are just for the player to get to grips with the controls, which will be familiar to most FPS players. Players will be fending off hordes of xenomorphs whilst waiting for an elevator to bring you to safety.

It’s during this instance players will notice how impressive the lighting of the new AVP videogame is; was that a vent falling off? or was it a xenomorph on the ceiling? The answer is that you will not know until it may be too late! Lighting has been used to genius effect in creating tense and unsure gameplay. The weapons look and sound authentic to the Alien films.

If the Marines campaign is the closest to an FPS as possible in this AVP videogame, then the Aliens campaign is the furthest away from that. The scene opens with a xenomorph breeding laboratory with test subjects being harvested for their bioweapons research. However your Alien is different, as you decide to make your escape through your surrogate parent’s throat, this indicates you’re a more intelligent species of Alien. A power failure gives you the perfect chance to make your escape. Mission objectives are given to you telepathically from the Alien Queen, and your Alien itself is a living weapon, armed with razor tipped tail. Alien play style favours stealth and surprise attacks from the shadows, and it is the most versatile of the combatants.

The Predator campaign is a mix of the Marine and Alien campaigns. Being a Predator you rely heavily on your advanced technology and use of stealth to eliminate your prey. The predator campaign in this AVP videogame is to locate and retrieve the bodies of several “youngbloods”; Predators that have gone missing. The Predator will be the favourite of the three campaigns, due to all its weaponry and utterly gruesome steath kills.

Overall, the new AVP videogame will satisfy the hardcore fans as it remains faithful to both the Alien and Predator films. The graphics could have been improved slightly but the lighting and sound effects far make up for any visual gripes. Combining these elements with an excellent multiplayer mode has created the best AVP video game to date.

Rolling up a new mage but not sure which racials make for the best mage race for your endgame role? Don’t worry, this guide is here to help you figure out what you should roll. We’ll discuss the best racials for your goals, whether PvP or PvE is your cup of tea.

First, let’s talk about PvP. Humans are currently the reignign champion for PvP, thanks to Every Man for Himself; it allows you to skip your PvP trinket and instead equip a powerful PvE trinket, allowing for much better overall stats. Second place goes to Trolls; their simply amazing burst potential can’t be matched by any other race. Undead take third place thanks to Will of the Forsaken, and the other races more or less tie for last place, PvP wise. Well, all of them but Gnome tie, as Gnome is quite simply the worst race in the game right now, ability-wise. And any race works, if you are willing to put the time in to learn how to use it to full advantage.

For PvE, determining the best mage race is even easier; it’s simply the one with the greatest DPS advantage. Berserking, the troll racial ability, is the strongest DPS buffing ability in the game. Second place goes to Draenei, thanks to their hit buff; in fact, it’s arguable that the Draenei hit buff is better because it buffs your entire party’s damage. The other races in the game don’t really have anything that directly benefits mage DPS to any noteworthy amount; Gnomes get a small Int buff, but not enough to significantly effect DPS.

Hopefully you can now determine the best mage race for what you want to do. Currently, the best overall mage race is Troll, thanks to their excellent Berserking ability which benefits them greatly in both PvP and PvE. But if none of the top races appeals to you, you can always just roll what you like and not worry too much about it; good racials are only a minor advantage, in the scheme of things.
