The restyled 370Z Base is equipped with a Nissan 3.7-liter 6-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 24 valves. The engine is paired with a Nissan 6-speed transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Nissan.

Steering control is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The 370Z has power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. The car uses coil front springs and coil in the rear.

Vehicle Statistics

The 370Z is inches long, inches wide, and inches high. It has a wheelbase of inches. It is able to seat several adults comfortably.

There is a 50,000* mile, 60* month warranty with this vehicle, including a powertrain warranty of 50,000*/36* miles/months. This is normal for this price range.

The listed retail price in 2009 (MSRP) was an industry-low price, with an invoice cost of an industry-low price. This price is above average of the industry average price for a two-door Coupe.

Fuel Efficiency

Fuel is handled for the 370Z is a SFI design, running on gasoline fuel. The gasoline is managed by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The 12-gallon tank provides the fuel storage for longer trips.

The 370Z Base received a miles-per-gallon rating of seventeen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to long-distance. Being a gas-powered non-green car, this was exceptional.

Conclusion

The 2008 model began the promise of the Nissan 370Z. The 2009 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Nissan hopes that the 370Z Base will continue to be a profitable vehicle.

The 2-door 370Z is especially appealing to wide market segment, making it a perfect car to help Nissan as a brand in general.

Performance

The 370Z Touring is equipped with a Nissan 3.7 liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a Nissan 6-speed Transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Nissan.

The 2009 370Z's normal fuel system runs on gas. The fuel is regulated electronically, with a fuel-injected multi-port fuel injection (MFI) style of design. The fuel tank holds 12 gallons.

Steering control is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The 370Z has power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. The car uses coil front springs and coil in the rear.

370Z Touring Statistics

The 370Z is inches long, inches wide, and inches high. It has a wheelbase of inches. It is able to seat several adults comfortably.

The listed retail price in 2009 (MSRP) was an industry-low price, with an invoice cost of an industry-low price. This price is slightly higher than the industry average price for a two-door Coupe.

The standard warranty period for the 370Z is 60* months, or 50,000* miles, whichever comes first. The warranty also includes a warranty on the drivetrain for 36* months or 50,000* miles respectively. This is standard in the coupe market. Extended warranties are also available through the dealer.

Fuel Efficiency

The 370Z Touring received a miles-per-gallon rating of seventeen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to long-distance. Being a gas-powered non-green car, this was subpar.

In Summary

The 2009 model year was unsuccessful for the Nissan 370Z. The introduction of several trim levels (along with the Touring version) meant that buyers had several options to choose from..

The six-cylinder engine is at the heart of the strong emotions, it is powerful for its class and delivers a large amount of torque.

Under the Hood

The restyled 350Z Enthusiast is equipped with a 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a Nissan six-speed transmission. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2003 version.

Steering control is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The 350Z comes equipped with power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. The car uses coil front springs and coil in the rear.

Vehicle Statistics

The dimensions of the 350Z Enthusiast are 71.50 inches wide by 169.40 inches long. It sits 51.90 inches off the ground. It seats a standard two passengers, with 2 doors. The wheelbase of 104.30 allows for extra leg room for the rear passengers.

The original manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) was $26,470 when new, with a dealer invoice cost of $24,763. This price was in line with the industry average price for a 2-door Coupe.

Fuel Efficiency

The fuel system for the 2004 350Z is a SFI design, using gasoline fuel. The fuel flow is controlled by a electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The fuel capacity of the fuel tank is 20.00 gallons.

The 2004 350Z gets 26 miles/gallon on the highway and only 20 in the city. This is subpar for a coupe car.

We Think...

The 2003 model began the promise of the Nissan 350Z. The 2004 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Nissan hopes that the 350Z Enthusiast will continue to be a profitable vehicle.
