Space Invaders is an arcade video game designed by Tomohiro Nishikado, and released in 1978. It was originally manufactured and sold by Taito in Japan, and was later licensed for production in the United States by the Midway division of Bally. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a side-scrolling platform video game being published and developed by Nintendo for the Wii video game console. The game was announced at Nintendo's press conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009, and is slated for release in 2009. It will be the first game in the Super Mario Bros. series to feature multiplayer gameplay.

Features

The game uses elements of New Super Mario Bros. and also includes, for the first time in a Mario Bros. series game, simultaneous multiplayer capability of up to four players. It is played in classic style, with the Wii Remote held horizontally. Some movements such as jumping and attacks are performed with the buttons, whereas others like spinning in midair and picking up other players are performed by shaking the Wii Remote.
According to the E3 2009 demo, players can play as four characters from the Mario series: Mario (player one), Luigi (player two), and two Toad characters: one blue (player three) and one yellow (player four).
Players are able to pick each other up and throw them. If a player dies, he can resume play if one of the other players hits a bubble with him in it.
Items come in multiple quantities, either from item blocks, or bubbles that float by on screen. New items have been added, including a Propeller Suit which allows players to fly and a Penguin Suit which allows players to freeze enemies.
Players will also be able to ride on Yoshis, who display characteristics similar to the Yoshis found in Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
While co-operatively played, the game also features competitive elements, such as trying to get the most points or coins. Rankings for each player are given at the end of each level, including stats such as enemies defeated, coins collected, and total points.
Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed during his roundtable interview in E3 2009 that the game will not feature online multiplayer.
The game will also be the first game on the Wii to feature "demo play", where players will be able to pause the game, let the game complete the level for them, and resume play at any time by unpausing.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii was announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009. The game was created in response to Shigeru Miyamoto's desire to create the Mario series's single player gameplay for multiple players, as he was unable to bring these ideas to fruition in the previous installments. The Wii's hardware allowed him to have all the enemies and items on one screen, and allowed a camera that could focus on all players at once. The Koopalings (who orginally appeared as Bowser's children in early Mario Bros. games) appear as major villains of this game.

Left 4 Dead 2 is an upcoming sequel to Valve Corporation's Left 4 Dead. It will build upon the cooperative first-person shooter gameplay of the original and will be using Valve's proprietary Source engine, the same game engine as Left 4 Dead. The game made its world premiere at E3 2009 with a trailer during the Microsoft press event, and is scheduled for release for Microsoft Windows PC and Xbox 360 on November 17, 2009. The game focuses on four survivors fighting against hordes of zombie-like humans. The survivors must reach safehouses to progress through the level, with the goal of reaching a rescue vehicle at the level's finale.

Features

Like its predecessor, Left 4 Dead 2 is primarily a first-person shooter, with some cutscenes presented in the third-person or using pre-rendered movies. The game presents five new campaigns, larger in size than those in the first game. Each will be playable in Co-op, Versus, and Survival mode. There will also be a fourth game mode that has not yet been revealed.
In the main Campaign mode, up to four players can play cooperatively during a campaign, each with a number of chapters; the computer controls any survivors that are not being played. In each chapter, the goal is to reach a safehouse location after fighting through hordes of infected mutants, with the ultimate goal of surviving the encounter to be safely rescued. In this mode, the game is guided by the "AI Director", an artificial intelligence engine that monitors the players' performance and alters the scenario to provide more or less challenge for the players as they progress.
In Left 4 Dead 2, the AI Director has been improved to encourage more participation by players, forcing players through difficult gauntlets to reach the extraction point, and the ability to alter elements of the level such as placement of walls, lighting, or weather conditions. The AI Director will also be improved to reward players for taking longer or more difficult paths through each episode by providing more useful equipment, such as incendiary ammo, along these riskier paths, and even alter elements of the levels to create varied paths based on the choice of these paths.
Players will have access to more and improved weapons, including new melee weapons such as a frying pan, an axe, baseball bat, cricket bat, chainsaw, and katana and new projectile weapons such as scoped assault rifles and silenced submachine guns, in addition to new ammo types such as explosive rounds and incendiary rounds.
While the players will mostly encounter common infected, there are "special infected" that possess unique abilities that require unique tactics to defeat or avoid. In addition to those introduced in the first game, Left 4 Dead 2 includes the Charger, a larger infected with a malformed torso and arm that can move fast but with low health and can bash survivors out of the way, leaving the last player helpless. There is also the Spitter, which spews a ball of mutated phlegm which covers an area of ground and eats away at survivor's health for every second they are in it. The Spitter was introduced to hinder players who "camp" in the same spot for too long.
Existing specials will also be adjusted; for example, the Witch, fixed to a single spot in Left 4 Dead, will be able to roam during daytime levels, a feature referred to by Valve as the "Wandering Witch".
One more Special Infected has been confirmed. It is called " The Jockey" and jumps onto the back of survivors and damages them while controlling them. The Jockey is meant to lead the survivors into traps laid by the other infected. He has not been seen, but has been confirmed to be much shorter than the average infected.
Left 4 Dead 2 will also feature "uncommon common" infected, which will be common infected having special characteristics related to certain levels and areas of the game, as the "mudmen", or "mudders", in the Swamp fever campaign, or the "Hazmat" infected in the Parish campaign, the riot infected who have bullet proof kevlar in the parish, or Clowns in the Dark Carnival Campaign who call over other infected .
On September 1st, 2009, Destructoid announced a new Special Infected, known as the Jockey, a smaller zombie who jumps on the backs of Survivors and attacks them from behind. In versus mode, the Jockey will be able to control the movements of the survivor, being able to guide them into possible ambushes by other infected.

We've seen PS3 and PS2 games shrunk down to the PSP before. But here's a new one. Famitsu has revealed that Koei will be bringing Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce to the PS3 and Xbox 360 for Japanese release later this Fall.

Features

Known as Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid in its native Japan, Strikeforce offered a new take on the Dynasty Warriors franchise, teaming players up in groups for cooperative quests. In Japan, the game continues to see free weekly quest downloads.
The PS3 and 360 version will be known in Japan as Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid Special. The game features a number of improvements over the PSP version. Obviously, the visuals are being brought up to console standards. Other changes include a new system where the CPU controls your three ally generals.
The biggest change, however, could be in the game's online play support. The PSP version offered support for local play. On PS3 and Xbox 360, the game is fully online, allowing for four players to play cooperatively and competitively. Koei is even including support for text and voice chat.

Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star, is an upcoming Mega Man action role-playing video game to be published and developed by Capcom for the Nintendo DS handheld video game console. It was revealed at the 2009 World Hobby Fair in Japan and is tentatively slated to release in Japan in 2009.

The game is a revival of the Mega Man Battle Network series (which concluded with the release of the sixth title in 2005), and is also a crossover with the Mega Man Star Force series, set in the future.

Features

In January 2009, monthly Japanese magazine CoroCoro Comic held their annual Mega Man boss design content. However, unlike previous contests, it was unknown what upcoming Mega Man title the winning boss would appear in, nor was it revealed even after the winner was announced as Clock Genius in the April 2009 issue.
At the 2009 World Hobby Fair convention in Japan, the new Mega Man title was finally unveiled as a cross-over between the Battle Network and Star Force series. There was early speculation that the title may not just be a crossover, but also a remake of a previous Battle Network title. This speculation is mostly fueled by a comment made in an interview with series producer Takeshi Horinouchi
Horinouchi later confirmed the speculation with the launch of the official teaser website announcing that the game is an enhanced remake of the first Battle Network title. However, it has not yet been confirmed how elements from the Star Force series are going to come into play
Additional details were shown in the September issue of CoroCoro Comic along with the first screens.
The game is set in the Battle Network setting (specifically the first Battle Network title), but both MegaMan EXE and Geo Stelar (as MegaMan) appear together. It is unknown if both are playable, as the player is shown controlling Geo in all of the screens. Harp Note also makes an appearance, so other Star Force characters may also appear.
A new NetNavi named Clockman was revealed, presumed to be the result of the aforementioned Clock Genius submission, and has also traveled back in time from the Star Force period. No details about the battle system were revealed, but many of the field maps seem to be taken directly from the first Battle Network title (graphics and layout), and a map system (similar to the one in Mega Man Battle Network 5: Double Team DS) has also been added.

A thousand years have passed since the events of the original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Features

Like its Gamecube predecessor, Crystal Bearers will feature fully real time combat, as opposed to the classic turn-based action used in most of the traditional Final Fantasy titles. Enemies and regular civilians apparently will be able to show emotion or status effects via symbols hanging over their heads, such as hearts for attraction or musical notes for satisfaction. The producers have suggested that enemies do not necessarily grow stronger as the game progresses, but that they gain a wider variety of tactics and abilities instead. It has also been shown that some enemies have the ability to hurt fellow creatures also opposing the player. This is part of a reaction AI system, in which different creatures react in unique ways to other creatures nearby and to the player's attacks.
Telekinetic abilities will feature heavily in the game. The player will be able to perform different combat actions via telekinesis, including moving certain enemies against their will and utilizing various objects as telekinetic projectiles. The player will also be able to perform some type of reaction element with creatures that will affect them in different manners, though details of this are currently limited to video glances.
To further the telekinetic gameplay, the player will be able to utilize his abilities to interact with the environment, such as to activate switches or even grab onto ledges from a distance via an energy-based grappling hook; furthermore, he will even be able to perform such actions as moving civilians against their will. Some civilians also share a trait with enemies in that they will be able to knock the player away with force.
Based on the most recent video trailers and the general setting of the game, fighting in the sky might also be a feature of the gameplay, though this is unconfirmed. It's been commented that while most of these events are for mere enjoyment, some must be completed in order to advance the story. Other gameplay aspects as hinted at by the trailers include participating in minigames, traversing the land on chocobos (which can ram through enemies and some background objects), riding on trains, and swimming.

As reported by GamePro, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony is a remake of the Sega CD version, which is currently set for release on the PSP in Japan. The game is featured in a recent copy of the Japanese game magazine Famitsu, with a two-page spread highlighting some of the upgrades the game will feature. Along with a new isometric view, the game will also feature a hand-drawn style for the characters and backgrounds, as well as new music and an expanded story. On May 29, Xseed Games announced that they are bringing Lunar: Silver Star Harmony to North America, set to be released December 10, 2009.

In response to questions about the length of the single-player campaign, Infinity Ward CCO Jason West stated that Modern Warfare 2 would not be longer than the 6-10 hour-long campaign of Call of Duty 4. Mission settings in the game will include Russia, a military base in Kazakhstan, a desert area in Afghanistan, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. New features include the ability to dual wield handguns.
Modern Warfare 2 will feature a cooperative mode entitled Special Ops, which consists of independent missions similar in design to the "Mile High Club" epilogue mission from Call of Duty 4.These missions will take place in a variety of locations from the campaign mode, but are related to story of the campaign itself. Special Ops supports cooperative play for up to two players, and can be played alone, in split-screen locally with another player, or online with another player. It includes such scenarios as a snowmobile race, a battle alongside U.S. Navy SEALs, and fending off a wave of 50 enemies at once.
Special Ops is divided into separate groups of missions with changeable difficulty levels. The third group, "Charlie", includes the mission "Breach and Clear", where the objective is to just make it to the end of the level. At the beginning of a mission, players select what weapon to use from several scattered around a room before the actual mission commences.
Once a choice has been made, a nearby wall is breached and the mission begins. At the end of each mission, a statistics screen displays how long the player took to complete the level and how many kills were scored. Successfully completing a mission earns the player stars, with missions completed on Veteran difficulty rewarding up to three stars. These stars can be used to unlock further missions in the mode.
