Wordy has a straight forward interface. Just enter the word you want to search for and the app does the rest. It aggregates information from Merriam-Webster, Century Dictionary, and American Heritage Dictionary. The word of the day feature can teach you a word or two if you play with this app long enough.

Wordy is aesthetically pleasing and has a lot of potential. It is one of the better dictionary apps we have tested. We would love the app to be more social media friendly. Having the ability to create custom word databases would be nice too. Wordy has potential.

FitnessFast has an elegant interface. It has an exercise library with instructions and animations to get you started. Users can search for exercises and create custom ones fast. They can add sets, reps, and notes. The app keeps track of total workout time and rest times too. Those of you who want to get bigger can use this app to keep an eye on your body stats.

FitnessFast automatically calculates your BMI, body fat, and lean body mass. The calendar view allows you to go back in time to see your workouts in the past. Your data can be exported in CSV format too. The app graphs your data too. A pretty nice app to have around in the gym.

Car Manager is what you need to keep track of your rides. Just enter your vehicle information and fill ups to start tracking your vehicle. The app gives you a breakdown of your statistics, including cost per spending category. I love the fact that I can keep service providers’ information in this app.

Car Manager does have a set of tools you can use to find your car and businesses around you. Once you are done with your work, you can always export your data. Not a bad app to have around if you have multiple vehicles at your place.

Healthy Habits Premium has an easy-to-use interface. It lets you create habits and keep track of your progress. The app has a large habit library and can handle an unlimited number of habits. The reminder/alarm feature keeps you honest. Healthy Habits supports custom motivations and rewards. The chart and report features show you whether you are meeting your goal.

Healthy Habits Premium is well designed and highly customizable. Just add your habits and rewards to get started. Support for Dropbox was a big plus for us. Overall, a nice app to use to change your life.

The iEMF+ app is quite an intuitive app. Its settings are highly customizable. It uses the magnetometer in your iPhone to track fluctuations in the magnetic field around you (iPhone 3GS or above are fully supported). The app supports filtering out earth’s ambient field and noises from the readings. Multiple units are supported. iEMF+ does have a simulation mode for older phones such as iPhone 3G but it needs a magnetometer to work up to its full capabilities.

Can you catch ghosts with iEMF+? There is no guarantee. Most of us don’t believe in ghosts anyway. But iEMF+ is more than decent to give you magnetic field readings on your iOS device. It works pretty well on iPads too. The app is offered for free. The paid version offers even more customization options.

MeAgainstMe is developed to help you use your previous fitness records to push your body to the next level (fitness wise). Entering new results into this tool is easy. It takes care of the date and time of workouts automatically. Automatic 1RM calculations are provided too. Once you enter enough data points into this, you can use the graphs in it to find out whether you are on the right track.

MeAgainstMe’s interface is not the most impressive one we have tested. But it does make adding new entries and keeping track of your repetitions easy. I like the fact that the app is Facebook and Twitter friendly. The photo log feature is a plus. Overall, this is a pretty decent app to have around in your gym.

The SpellTower app has a beautiful look. Your goal is to find words and get them out of your way. Letters keep rising from the bottom of your screen, so you should use some strategy to keep them down. The game is over when letters reach the top of the screen.

SpellTower has 4 awesome modes. The puzzle mode brings you new row of letters as you make new words. The extreme mode adds a minimum word length to the equation. SpellTower has a rush mode which will test your speed. The game provides support for Game Center.

SpellTower is one of the most fun word games we have tested. It goes beyond what simple word games offer and adds a strategic element to the game. This is quite addictive too. It’s definitely a keeper.

The search option saves you time discovering deals on the titles that interest you. Each app entry includes buying advice, screenshots, and ratings.

App Price Drops does not cover every possible deal. But it has more than enough to get you going. I like the fact that the interface is simple and easy to navigate through. A pretty useful app for app junkies who are looking for a way to reduce their monthly app bills.

The pictures included in this app are quite breathtaking. Users are also provided with the latest news on everything sharks. What’s nice about this app is the fact that you get a lot of free content but you also have a chance to buy premium content.

Users can take advantage of this app to report the sharks they have seen. They can also report shark products. The user interface in this app is quite elegant. Searching through all these types of sharks couldn’t be any easier. The app contains more than enough content for those studying sharks. The premium content will set you back $10 though.

WebMD Baby includes over 400 articles, 598 tips, and 70 videos for parents. You also get useful tools such as Growth, Diaper, Sleep, and Feeding tracker. What’s nice about this app is the fact that you can use to keep a journal for your baby. That’s perfect for parents that want to remember their most precious memories with their baby.

WebMD Baby’s content is fully searchable. They are categorized under various categories (e..g for Moms/ Dads, …). You also get useful information for emergency situations. The video Q/A sessions with WebMD experts are quite useful too.

WebMD Baby is free and provides a ton of awesome tips and tools for parents to take advantage of. It is worth checking out for new parents (especially for first timers).
