The Technical Writer will work closely with our design team, manufacturing and customers to support the company's growing need for accurate, consistent and effective documentation. DESCRIPTION The IPG Systems Technician will assemble, test, and install laser-based systems in an R&D environment according to engineering instructions and technical manuals. The Systems Technician will be responsible for the assembly, troubleshooting and testing of the electrical, optical and mechanical systems autonomously. PCB Designer - Oxford, MA

DESCRIPTION The Printed Circuit Board Designer will design and implement printed circuit boards used in electronic assemblies for lasers and optical amplifier products from the development phase through production. DUTIES Primary responsibilities include designing PCB's for new products and make improvements to existing products, and generating documents using computer aided drafting (CAD) for schematic, assembly, and fabrication drawings. QUALIFICATIONS * 4-6 years of experience with analog and digital design, including high density, high speed and multi-layer boards. * Proven ability to delivery accurate and complete documentation package for fabrication and assembly of PCB designs. * Familiar with IPC design and assembly standards, practices, and procedures. * Identify and resolve mechanical design issues. * Experience with Cadence Orcad schematic capture, Orcad PCB Layout and PCB Editor preferred. * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) required for interaction within group, with customers, R&D, and international colleagues. * Familiarity with ISO processes.
