		<description>&lt;p&gt;State Sen. &lt;a href="http://www3.legis.state.ia.us/ga/member.do;jsessionid=3FB8AC6819EBC38B83672B884E1A4A42?id=267&amp;amp;ga=82"&gt;Roger Stewart&lt;/a&gt;, D-Preston announced Thursday he will not seek re-election in &lt;a href="http://www.legis.state.ia.us/GA/82GA/Senate/DistrictInfo/13.pdf"&gt;Senate District 13&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Stewart has represented the northeastern district since 2003. In 2006, he easily &lt;a href="http://www.sos.state.ia.us/pdfs/GenOffResults.pdf"&gt;won re-election with 65 percent&lt;/a&gt; of the vote.&lt;/p&gt;
