All throughout high school the theatre was my home. Godspell was my first time on a real stage. Mr. Stewart was our Director and he changed my life, along with Rachel our musical director. Joining the cast of Godspell helped me meet so many wonderful people on that stage and even back stage!

When I wasn’t onstage, I was backstage running hair and makeup or costumes. I just needed to be involved.

The summer before my Senior year, Rachel, who use to be our musical director decided she was going to start a musical comany called Dreamweavers. For her first show she chose ME to play the leading lady, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance!! It was unreal.

I like to say that musical changed my life. Not only did I get the leading roll but I met the man of my dreams, Adam.
We were SO young…but we fell in love. Spring break Senior year he asked me to marry him.

Life Changer.

 Senior year was amazing in so many ways….and so much to do with the theatre.

Our Girls – I played a loud mean neighbor….I wore a fake butt and boobs! It was SO funny!

Leader of the Pack was my final high school production and it was an amazing time. ha. check out my awesome scan from my scrapbook…..

After high school I decided to not pursue acting, but to follow my heart and my passion for photography and started Inner Circle Photography. Although I am happy with my choice…I long for the stage all the time.

I love the look on Kristina’s face right after they walked back down is aisle.

After family photos we headed to Glen Oaks for some fun photos! Even with less than 30 minutes we were able to get some really great memorable photos!

Adam was able to come with me to the station…which was wonderful! He had my iPhone and was able to get a few photos of the process!

We had to arrive at 6:20 am. It was still dark.

It was over so fast. I feel like I only had one real slip up.  Hey, I will take it!

I had an engagement session later that day…quick and simple!

Niki and Dan are getting married next year!!

Adam and I went to celebrate the day with dinner at Katana in Royal Oak. Oh how I love dinner there!

The next day just went by so fast!

We had a great turn out! Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out!

Someday’s I just get so overwhelmed I want to laugh and cry at the same time. Take this for example.

Earlier this week I got a call from WDIV Channel 4, they wanted me to come in and talk about Session for a Cause! Say wha???? Once I got off the phone I went into a slight panic mode.

First I called Adam and just saying the words out loud to him was scary. Did I want to tell people? Yes for many so many good reasons but then NO! What if I was a complete fool? What if I said the wrong thing? What if I passed out mid interview?

But finally today it hit me. I am doing this all for one reason. Breast Cancer Awareness and for that I am beyond OK with everyone knowing.

So laugh with me and maybe even cry with me as I take this journey…

Channel 4 at 6:40 am (goodmorning!) I will be talking about Sessions for a Cause!

We have had a great turn out already, I can not say thank you enough!

Brandon and Marissa are originally from Michigan but because of work they had to relocate to Arizona! Even though we chatted on the phone a few times my first time meeting Marissa and Brandon was on their wedding day and since then I just love them to pieces!

Marissa and Brandon opted to do a first look!

Brandon and Marissa were married at the The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in downtown Detroit.

One of their wedding photos was published last year in B.L.A.C. magazine!
