Check this video posted from last night’s Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees game. It shows a patron wearing on of the brand spanking new Miami Heat #6 Lebron James jerseys. Only problem – he wore it in Cleveland.

Per the caption on YouTube…At a Cleveland Indians Game on 7-28-10, a guy walks into the bleacher seats wearing a LeBron James Miami Heat Jersey. He’s booed violently, and by the 5th Inning, people are throwing peanuts and beer cups at him. By then the police escort him out of the section. While walking down the stairs, a guy knocks the beer cup out of his hand, and starts swearing at him. By the end of the row, a fat guy in a green shirt (who was previously flicking him off), gets up in his face. The police have to restrain him from attacking the Yankees & Indians fans who were booing him.
His girlfriend, who had been flicking people off and swearing was shoved to the ground by a guy in a grey shirt. She started crying, and also had to be restrained.

The police officers who escorted him out, got a standing ovation from the entire bleacher section.

My Boys is back for Season 4!!! This TBS hit comedy about a group of close friends who always make time to get together, drink beer, play their weekly poker and support each other through the ups and downs of dating, break-ups and career highs and lows.

Season 3 ended with the gang in Arizona for the Cubs spring training game. Brendan is threatened by a professional baseball player meanwhile sparks fly between Kenny and Stephanie, Mike tries his best to get a base hit off a professional pitcher and Bobby helps P.J. write her best article yet. As the group returns to Chicago, Bobby and P.J. stumble upon Kenny and Stephanie kissing…

As a new season blossoms, the friends continue to joke around, bond over beer and poker and have fun, but this time around, they also have to face the realities of life – financial issues, career decisions, and getting into serious relationships. Season 4 premiered last Sunday, and this season looks to be some TV Worth Watching for sure. Check out videos at the show’s YouTube page and also on the main site to catch up on season clips.

First Lady Michelle Obama recently sent out a message to the Organizing for America supports to sign a virtual birthday card for President Obama.

Every year, our family tries to come up with a fun way to wish Barack a happy birthday.

And this August 4th, when he turns 49, I have something new in mind.

This has been a big — and hectic — year for him. After signing the Affordable Care Act and Wall Street reform into law — and completing his first year as president — I think it’s safe to say we will remember it for a long time.

And I know full well how much he credits this movement, and the work of supporters like you, for the change that we’ve accomplished.

So I’m putting together a birthday card that I would like you to sign. Together with other Organizing for America supporters — and me, Malia, Sasha, and Bo — we’ll wish him a happy birthday and let him know that we’re ready to take on the year ahead alongside him.

This year also brought a lot of surprises — some good and some bad.

The Bengals and receiver Terrell Owens agreed to a two-year, $2 million deal, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

A league source told Schefter the deal also includes another $2 million in incentives. Owens could earn $333,000 each for passing the following milestones: 60 catches, 100 catches, 900 receiving yards, 1,300 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns and 14 touchdowns.

The Bengals were Owens’ first choice, giving him a chance to team with close friend Chad Ochocinco, who has already dubbed the pair Batman and Robin. The Bengals made an offer on Monday, and Owens accepted a day later.

Players are required to report for the start of training camp on Wednesday in Georgetown, Ky. Owens is expected to show up when workouts begin on Thursday, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team had made no announcement.

On his Twitter account, Owens replied to Ochocinco late Tuesday: “Ocho Uno is coming 2 town!! Hey Robin, Batman will b there soon!” He’s expected to sign his deal when he arrives in Georgetown.

Is this, as OchoCinco puts it, “…the dream team” ?

Aretha Franklin and Condoleezza Rice teamed up on Tuesday night at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia for a concert to benefit inner-city youth programs and education initiatives.

Check out the following video of Ms. Franklin and Ms. Rice’s duet on “I Say a Little Prayer.” We all knew about Aretha’s skills, but I was not aware that Condoleezza could get down like that.

I love how the New York Times calls this, “…a moment of cultural bipartisanship.”

A report on radio-info.com states that the Premiere-syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show will include comedian Sheryl Underwood as a regular contributor to the show.

Harvey’s show airs in over 64 markets, so she’ll definitely get heard. According to the announcement Underwood will appear weekly, and will be the show’s guest host when Harvey is on vacation.

I’m happy for Sheryl, but most happy that she’ll continue to host her Sirius XM program, The Sheryl Underwood Show, heard on Jamie Foxx’s channel The Foxxhole (Sirius 106/XM 149).

MILWAUKEE — NASCAR team owner Jack Roush was in serious but stable condition after walking away from a plane crash in Wisconsin on Tuesday night.

“There are injuries. Possible surgery,” Roush Fenway Racing president Geoff Smith said in a text message to The Associated Press. “But he walked out of the plane.”

Smith confirmed that the plane belonged to Roush, and he was flying it. Smith said Roush’s injuries include facial lacerations.

Roush, an aviation buff, was attending the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wis., this week.

In a statement on the EAA Web site, officials said a Beechcraft Premier business jet registered to Roush Fenway Racing, LLC was involved in a landing accident at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. CDT, the statement said.

According to the EAA, the National Transportation Safety Board and Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that two occupants on board were Roush and Brenda Strickland of Plymouth, Mich. Strickland is a friend of Roush’s.

“Each exited the aircraft following the accident,” the statement said. “Both were transported to local hospitals, with Roush in serious but stable condition and Strickland with non-life threatening injuries. The NTSB is leading the investigation into the accident.”

According to a statement from the team, Roush was landing his plane when the accident occurred.

“Dr. Kevin Wasco, the attending physician, says that Roush is in serious but stable condition,” the team’s statement said. “His injuries are not life threatening.”

It is the second close call for Roush, who crashed a plane into a pond in Alabama in 2002 and nearly drowned before being rescued by an ex-Marine who lived nearby. Despite sustaining serious injuries, Roush continued flying.

Roush owns several aircraft, including a World War II-vintage P-51 Mustang.

After having success in dragsters and sports car racing, Roush – a former Ford engineer and college physics teacher – founded his NASCAR team in 1988. Known for his trademark Panama-style hat, academic speaking style and love for tinkering with anything mechanical, he won championships in NASCAR’s top series with Matt Kenseth in 2003 and Kurt Busch in 2004.

Since 2007, Roush has partnered with the Fenway Sports Group, the sports marketing arm of the Boston Red Sox’s parent company.

The team currently fields cars in the Cup series for Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle and David Ragan.

The man behind WikiLeaks, the website that published more than 91,000 secret U.S. military documents on the Afghanistan war as well as previously secret video of a deadly American helicopter attack in Baghdad in 2007, doesn’t much care whether government agencies are enraged by his actions.

Julian Assange has described himself as an “information activist” — get the information out there and let what happens happen, the Australian-born founder of WikiLeaks has said publicly. But it’s also been said that Assange rarely sleeps in the same place two nights in a row because of concerns about his own safety.

Assange, 39, started WikiLeaks.org in 2007, describing the site’s mission as an “uncensorable system for untraceable mass document leaking.” The site now reportedly hosts more than 1 million documents, and there are thousands more to come related to Afghanistan, Assange said Monday in a press conference.

And it’s not just Afghanistan ; it’s foreign and domestic secrets from all over the world. “We have built up an enormous backlog of whistleblower disclosures,” he said.

Past WikiLeaks posts include the U.S. Army’s protocol at the Guantánamo Bay detention camp (2007), Church of Scientology documents (2008) and content from Sarah Palin’s e-mail account (2008).

The release of the Afghanistan war documents has been condemned by U.S. and Pakistani officials as both potentially harmful and irrelevant. White House national security adviser Gen. Jim Jones said the information “put the lives of Americans and our partners at risk.”

Enter a new age of concerts. The Arcade Fire show kicks off “Unstaged,” a new online concert series being launched by American Express and streamed on YouTube.

The Montreal-based band will live stream their Aug. 5 concert at 10 p.m. EDT, the second of two shows at Madison Square Garden.

Terry Gilliam, whose films include “Brazil,” “12 Monkeys,” and “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus“ will direct the live webcast.

The concert will stream on YouTube via Vevo, the music video site owned by Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Abu Dhabi Media Co.

It’s the first in a planned series of five live streamed concerts, with John Legend and the Roots to follow. Others will be announced later.

NEW YORK — ABC’s “The View” has welcomed many notable guests, but none more prominent than President Barack Obama, who is scheduled to visit for Thursday’s edition.

In making the announcement on Monday, executive producers Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie said this marks the first time a sitting U.S. president has visited a daytime talk show.

They said the majority of the hour will be devoted to Obama’s appearance, which will touch on topics including jobs, the economy, the Gulf oil spill and family life inside the White House. It is scheduled to tape on Wednesday.

“We are so pleased and honored,” Walters said.

Walters will make a special return to the studio for the occasion, joining co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. Other than a brief segment broadcast from her home this month, Walters has been off the air since undergoing open-heart surgery in May and had not planned to be back until September.

Obama’s appearance is part of the show’s continuing “Red, White & View” campaign, which is committed to political guests and discussions. The show welcomed Vice President Joe Biden in April.

Obama was last a guest on “The View” in March 2008 when he was a U.S. senator.

The program airs weekdays on ABC at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

U.S. jazz singer Al Jarreau was in a critical condition in hospital in France on Friday after collapsing on stage the previous evening, hospital sources said.

The 70-year-old singer collapsed during a concert in Barcelonnette in the southeast of France, and was suffering from respiratory problems.

“He was rushed to hospital … his condition is critical. He’s in intensive care,” said Maurice Marchetti, deputy head of the hospital at Gap.
“He is still conscious but slightly drowsy because of the medication and the breathing apparatus.”

The Marseille Hospital Authority said Sunday that Jarreau is getting better and in good spirits but will stay in La Timone hospital for monitoring.

Jarreau’s managers says he will undergo tests in Marseille and “hopes to resume his tour at the end of the coming week.”

We’re praying for your recovery Mr. Al Jarreau.

December 17, 2010 will be the day Tron: Legacy hits theaters in all it’s 3D glory.

Up until this time, I hadn’t jumped much on the bandwagon for this forthcoming film, but now that I’ve seen the newly released trailer – I’m joining the fan club.

See I was around for the original Tron back in 1982 (the movie and of course the Atari video game – all good stuff back in the day). However, my hesitation for accepting this next segment of Tron was that I didn’t want it to turn out like the G.I. Joe movie a few years ago – all CGI generated graphics, with no real story. That doesn’t seem to be the case with the Tron film.

For starters, Jeff Bridges is back as Kevin Flynn the originator of the Tron game.

Tron: Legacy is a 3D action-packed adventure set in a digital world unlike anything captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn, a rebellious 27 year-old is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father, Kevin Flynn, a man once known as the world’s leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the abandoned Flynn’s Arcade that could have only come from his father he finds himself pulled into a world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra, father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually-stunning digital universe…that was created by Kevin himself.

It takes gumption to change your last name from Stephens to Legend, but child prodigy John Legend has never lacked ambition. The soul superstar grew up in Ohio playing piano and singing in his church choir, and eventually found his way to New York where he caught the ear of rap super-producer Kanye West. At 26, Legend released his debut album, Get Lifted, and immediately established himself as a major new voice in R&B, turning out hit singles and winning a pair of Grammy Awards, which wouldn’t be his last. Legend & The Roots re-craft a lost classic by the great, yet somehow underappreciated, soul singer Ernie Hines. Mississippi-born, Hines grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he got his start singing in the church. Soul music eventually caught his interest and the singer/guitarist ended up playing with the likes of Lowell Fulsom and Clyde McPhatter. In 1970 he signed to the legendary Stax label, where he recorded “Our Generation.” Like much of that era’s music, Hines’ song doesn’t give in to the tumult and conflict of the times, refusing to be consumed by it and offering a call to young people to make the world a better place. It’s raw and soulful and honest.

Let’s talk TV entertainment for a moment.

I make a conscious effort to stay away from many of the brain-dead reality shows that, in my opinion, plague the airwaves today (I won’t mention any show by name, but I’m certain you can build a mental list of shows matching that description).

What I do tend to watch are shows that actually provide INFOtainment (information and entertainment). Lately, I’ve been stuck on one channel – TNT.

There are some awesome shows on TNT, that I’m just getting introduced to this season, that I now simply have made a point to not miss – the DVR is recording all day. My latest show on a continual rotation is Leverage.

This show follows the adventures of a highly skilled team out to settle scores against those who use power and wealth to victimize others. The gang is led by former insurance investigator who got involved in the con business after his former employer refused to pay for treatment that could have saved his son’s life. His highly skilled team includes a grifter who uses her acting skills to corner her marks; a “retrieval specialist” with bone-crunching fighting skills; a gadget and technology wizard who keeps the team informed; and a slightly off-center thief adept at rappelling off buildings or squeezing into tight places.

They’ve recently started their third season and I’m seeing nothing but forward momentum with this show.
