Jon Morales, NY producer /sound engineer, has created M & M Mixes; which is a fantastic compilation of 1980s post disco.  You will find that many of these songs work very well if you  integrated one into a set if you were doing something a little downtempo, house, or  a small nugget you wanted to mix into a current nu-disco & Italo set.  John Morales, has over 30 Gold and Platinum records, which shows you how much credibility he has, along with mad respect in the industry.  If you enjoy the music of the Get Back, you should pick this album up on vinyl or all other media January 19, 2010.

Armani is connecting with our scene by licensing remixes and giving Producer / DJs in our scene more support in this new promotional campaign – though I would rather see more scantly clad females models running around in Armani. It’s always great to see clothing labels and companies reaching across the table to give support to our indie electronica remix blog style.  However, I would rather see them subsidize events so we can attend for free, sponsor tours so we can see Ladyhawke on the cheap, or provide us with free CD mixes like Scion & Toyota Antics does.

I am so pissed off that I don’t live in NY and can not go to Nike’s 21 Mercer to get this “Warriors” movie inspired hoodie today.  It is a new customized Bridge Runner hoodie featuring the Bridge Runners ‘Warriors’ inspired patch using the iconic NSW AW77 hoodie.  It is ridicolous  and unfair that Nike lets us know about all these super cool limited edition products, but give us no way to get them via lottery system online – instead we are forced to pay $500 via ebay for something that retailed for $150.  I think I am going to get a group of Warriors together and show Nike we mean business.

Ruckazoid & The Humans  live video is just a lapdance tease before the finish -when they finally release their album Diamond Studded Mothaship, whose snippets I called Michael Jackons’ milk a while back.  The video is a little claustrophopic, being that it looks like a party in someone’s Hollywood basement.  Hurry up and finish the album or I may forget about it and take the “Happy Ending” early.
