Early Enrollment Deadline for 2012-2013

We just wanted to remind you about the early enrollment discount when you enroll by Tuesday, May 15. The cost will go up to $3,600 after that date, so we wanted to make you aware of this in order to save you money for the upcoming school year. Stop by the school office to finalize the paper work and enroll your student(s) for the next school year.

In cooperation with Two Men and A Truck moving company, Indiana Christian Academy is helping out local battered and abused women. We are bringing in supplies to give to these women on Mother’s day! If you would like to help, please bring in the items listed below.

ICA Recommended for Accreditation

After completing a rigorous self-study process, Indiana Christian Academy hosted a team of educators for a peer review on April 23-24, 2012. The visiting team has recommended ICA for full accreditation to the American Association of Christian Schools Accreditation Commission which will meet on June 22.

Athletic Awards Program - April 20 at 6:30pm

Each year during the spring, Indiana Christian Academy presents the Athletic Awards Program. The coaches of the various sports will present awards to their respective teams. Each participant receives a certificate and each level of sports has their awards. Here are some of the other awards that will be presented at the Athletic Awards Program.

Junior High Sports—Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball

Coach’s Award - teachable, helpful, leader, encouraging, servant, faithful to practice and the team, and a valuable team contributor

Most Improved Award – player who demonstrated most improvement during the season

Junior Varsity Sports—Soccer, basketball, and volleyball

Coach’s Award - teachable, helpful, leader, encouraging, servant, faithful to practice and the team, and a valuable team contributor

Most Improved Award - player who demonstrated most improvement during the season

Most Valuable Player – player whose skills and leadership contributed most to the team, while displaying a team spirit

For students in 5th - 12th grade who achieved the incentive trip objectives. Students eligible to go on the trip have been announced. Permission slips are available in the office.

Final Scrip Card Order for the Year…Deadline - April 16th

We are placing our final Scrip Order for the Year on Tuesday, April 17th. We will need all orders in the office by Monday, April 16th to ensure that they will get ordered. Scrip is a great program that allows both the students and school to make a little money. The percentage discount on the card is split between the student’s bill and the school.

Scrip cards are used for many different things such as: birthday gifts, mother’s/father’s day gifts, daily purchases, vacation spending, etc. Scrip cards are versatile and easy to use. Please contact the office for any questions or to place an order.

Indiana Christian Academy is hosting an open house Tuesday, April 10 for prospective students and their parents from 8:00am to 11:00am. Students and parents are welcomed to come sit in classes and to take a tour of the school.

We wanted to let you know of a few calendar changes that are upcoming. They are listed for you below:

Friday, March 30 - Early Dismissal at 1:00 pm
ICA Open House - Tuesday, April 10 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Prospective students and their parents are welcomed to visit classes and take a tour of the school.
AACS Accreditation Team Visit - April 23 and 24 - They will be visiting the school and observing classes.
Spring Concert - Due to the Accreditation Team Visit, the Spring Concert will be moved to Tuesday, May 1 at 7:00pm.
