A Cover was on Sadhbhavna Mission of Mr Narendra Modi  was released in Godhra on 20 Jan 2012 and the  chief postmaster of Vadodara region, Lt Col K S Chauhan  presented him with a cover with an emblem of the Sadbhavana Mission.The cover on Sadbhavana Mission was  sponsored by the collector of Panchmahal. It is reliably learnt that that CPMG Humera Ahmed has been since transferred to Mumbai and Chief postmaster of Vadodara region, Lt Col K S Chauhan has also been transferred to Indore from Vadodara. Shri Faiz Ur Rehman, CPMG, Maharastra Circle has been  transferred and posted as CPMG, Gujarat Circle on 02/2/2012

Perforation Shifted right 3 perforation  affecting both stamps of Miniature sheet. In Rupees 20 stamp ‘IN’ of India and ‘Bha’ of Hindi is cut and outside stamp so also the year 2011. The fossil also is cut and outside the stamp.

In second stamp of rupees five denomination ‘IN’ of India and ‘Bha’ of Hindi is cut and outside stamp and entered into rupees twenty stamp.

Naik Jadunath Singh  – A Legacy

The Nation today pays homage to one of its Brave Heroes Naik Jadunath Singh who was awarded the Nations Highest Gallantry Award Param Vir Chakra on 06 Feb 1948 posthumously while defending his motherland from the evil designs of the Enemy at Taindhar in Naushera (J & K)

2nd Queen Victoria’s Own Rajput Light Infantry was redesignated as 1st Battalion The Rajput Regiment and NAIK JADUNATH SINGH fought the Battle of Taindhar  as a BRAVE  NON COMMISSIONED OFFICER OF 1^st Rajput and was awarded the PARAM VIR CHAKRA on 06 Feb 1948.

1st Battalion The Rajput Regiment is now Known as  4th Battalion Brigade of Guards (1 Rajput) and  India Post released a Commemorative stamp on 15 Sep 1998 to mark its Bicentenary.

The FDC released on 15 Sep 1998 shows a Param Vir Chakra which was awarded to Nk Jadunath Singh. A Victoria Cross awarded to the Battalion is also on the Cover.

Bangladesh issued a special cancellation on Rose to mark the Portugal 2010 World stamp Exhibition.The cancellation was provided at Dhaka GPO on 06 Oct 2010.
