	and intelligent inverters. The project is likely to go operational by March 2014.

            <title>Karnataka Government revises solar power tariff</title>

	 In October 2013, the state government of Karnataka has announced a new the solar power tariff of Rs. 8.40 per unit for 
	solar photo-voltaic generation and Rs. 10.92 per unit for solar -thermal power generation, Rs 9.56/unit for rooftop and small 
	solar PV plants and Rs 7.20/unit for rooftop and small solar PV plants with 30 per cent government subsidy on capital costs. 
	These tariff will become applicable from April 2013 and will be effective till 2018.
