I’ve just taken a look at the last few dozen blog posts and realized it’s been ~~months~~ too long since we last had a good ol’ Christian Louboutin Real vs. Steal here on this blog. So here you go: I’m quite in love with this beauty of a cutout high heel ankle bootie! So chic and classic yet the cutouts add a bit of an edge! I much prefer Monsieur Louboutin doing “classic with a twist” than those flashy uber-modern designs that he’s been doing the last couple seasons. Too bad I can’t afford to splurge on these high heeled beauties. Le sigh!

So this ring doesn’t need an introduction I think. The infamous Arty ring by Yves Saint Laurent. If you follow the fashion blogosphere I’m pretty sure you’ve come across it already. It’s either on almost every fashion blogger’s fingers or at least lingers on their wish list. And while $290 is an almost OK price for such a stunning piece of jewelry, not everyone can or wants to spend that much money on costume jewelry.

I love these posh cat-eye frames by Dior. They are classic yet so on-trend this season. Would you have thought that a dress existed that has been both worn by Olivia Palermo and Kim Kardashian? I didn’t since it’s hard to believe that these socialites who have such different personal styles would find the very same dress red-carpet wearable. But Preen somehow managed to meet both the tastes of Kim and Olivia. Crazy, right? I really like how the romantic lace details balance out the super sexy silhouette of the semi-sheer mini dress. But, ugh, what a price tag! Also, this dress is from the S/S 2010 collection, so it’s not available anymore.
