CROAT PRESIDENT REACTS TO “CROAT ORTHODOX CHURCH”

Croatia's President Ivo Josipović has condemned "statements of the founder of the Croatian Orthodox Church (HCP) Ivo Matanović". Reports from Zagreb said that the condemnation came in the shape of a letter send to the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Bishop of Dalmatia Fotije.

BORDER POLICE SEIZE 46 KILOS OF CANNABIS

MUP's border police officers on Thursday found and confiscated more than 46 kilograms of cannabis, it was announced. A statement from MUP said that the drugs were found in a van at the Horgoš border crossing with Hungary.

EPS TO REMAIN MAJORITY STATE-OWNED

Minister of Mining and Energy Petar Škundrić 18 assessed that Electric Power Industry of Serbia, EPS, will remain in majority state ownership. "EPS will never be privatized according to the general model for selling enterprises," Škundrić said in Novi Sad, at the opening of an electrical relay station into which EUR 1.7mn was invested.
