Then, much like a natural leaf, it uses sunlight to split the water into its two core components, oxygen and hydrogen, which are stored in a fuel cell to be used when producing electricity. Nocera's leaf is stable operating continuously for at least 45 hours without a drop in activity in preliminary tests and made of widely available, inexpensive materials like&amp;#160; silicon, electronics and chemical catalysts. It's also powerful, as much as ten times more efficient at carrying out photosynthesis than a natural leaf.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;While the technology has innumerable economic, political and environmental implications, it uses in developing nations is worthy of much dissemination. Nocera says that soon enough, a leaf placed in a gallon of water and left in the sun could provide a home with basic electricity for a day. Almost any type of water can be used, including waste water.&lt;a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/TZODbfYNRZI/AAAAAAAAAfI/TMF8OtqArjo/s1600-h/image%5B22%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/TZODcVqsgkI/AAAAAAAAAfM/QCBX6pV6Oo0/image_thumb%5B16%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="240" height="181" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;A practical artificial leaf has been one of the Holy Grails of science for decades,&amp;quot; Nocera says in a press release. &amp;quot; We believe we have done it.&amp;quot; Nocera claims, solar tech is 10 times more efficient than regular photosynthesis, &amp;amp; that's just the beginning. &amp;quot;Nature is powered by photosynthesis, and I think that the future world will be powered by photosynthesis as well in the form of this artificial leaf.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The artificial leaf shows particular promise as an inexpensive source of electricity for homes of the poor in developing countries. Our goal is to make each home its own power station. One can envision villages in India and Africa not long from now purchasing an affordable basic power system based on this technology.&amp;quot; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Indian giant, The Tata Group, has invested significantly in the technology, and is currently working with Daniel Nocera and his company – Sun Catalytix – to commercialize his artificial leaf. According to a company spokesman, the efforts are the company’s latest endeavour to serve the &amp;quot;bottom of the pyramid.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p align="right"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;Via &lt;/font&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.thinkdigit.com/General/Tata-and-MIT-develop-inexpensive-artificial-leaf_6515.html" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;Source&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2011/03/artificial-leaf-turns-water-into-energy.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/TZODaY5gJWI/AAAAAAAAAfE/SFDXLsfJSks/s72-c/image_thumb%5B7%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-4316780442072748918</guid><pubDate>Sat, 11 Sep 2010 02:52:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2010-09-10T19:52:58.761-07:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Web</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">blogging</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">How to</category><title>Burn/Create Category (label) specific feeds for Blogger/Blogspot Blogs</title><description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;Similar Queries : &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;How to burn or create category/label specific feeds ? &lt;br /&gt;How my site visitors can subscribe to read category specific post ? &lt;br /&gt;How to create different feeds for Categories in Blogger / Blogspot ?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt; If you said yes, Here is the solution.&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/TIrvBrlbmZI/AAAAAAAAAd0/n1j8FXtv1pY/s1600-h/image%5B33%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="Blogger Category Label specific feeds" border="0" alt="Blogger Category Label specific feeds" align="left" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/TIrvCc8rWAI/AAAAAAAAAd4/Xf-fNOUkuiQ/image_thumb%5B29%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="150" height="150" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;You have a lot of &lt;strong&gt;categories (labels) &lt;/strong&gt;for hundreds of your post? &lt;br /&gt;Do you feel some of your readers/visitors would wish to &lt;strong&gt;subscribe&lt;/strong&gt; only to a &lt;strong&gt;category posts&lt;/strong&gt; in your &lt;strong&gt;blog &lt;/strong&gt;rather than subscribing to all the posts ? &lt;br /&gt;For Wordpress users there are many methods to make it possible but blogger has limited options and so here is the trick.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h3&gt;How to Create Category (Labels) specific Feeds in Blogger&lt;/h3&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Step 1:&lt;/strong&gt; Once you decided which Category (label) feeds you want, Copy that Category (label) name as it is. Say your Category name is &lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#ff8040"&gt;Games&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Step 2 :&lt;/strong&gt; The Feel URL for specific category must be like below&lt;/p&gt; &lt;table border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" width="464"&gt;&lt;tbody&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="462"&gt;http://www.&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;YourBlog&lt;/font&gt;.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default/-/&lt;font color="#ff8040"&gt;Games&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt; &lt;p&gt;Replace &lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;YourBlog&lt;/font&gt; with your Blog name and &lt;font color="#ff8040"&gt;Games&lt;/font&gt; with your category name. &lt;strong&gt;Pls Note that blogger category specific feeds are case sensitive in nature and so Pls copy your category (label) name as it is, In our example its Games and not games. Yes, That capital &lt;font color="#ff8040"&gt;G&lt;/font&gt; matters.&lt;/strong&gt; No matter if your Category or label name has spaces between words (i.e Fooball Games) just take care of Upper or Lower case.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Thats it, Type this URL in any browser and you will see feeds with all the posts from single &amp;amp; specific category. You can burn these blogger category (label) specific feeds in Feedburner too.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Have a look at my websites category specific feed for Label “How to”&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a title="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/feeds/posts/default/-/How%20to" href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/feeds/posts/default/-/How to"&gt;http://www.ialwayscapital.com/feeds/posts/default/-/How to&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Also read : &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/07/how-to-hideremove-labelscategories.html"&gt;How to Hide/Remove Labels/Categories Count in Blogger&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2010/09/burncreate-category-label-specific.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/TIrvCc8rWAI/AAAAAAAAAd4/Xf-fNOUkuiQ/s72-c/image_thumb%5B29%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-377279658094535530</guid><pubDate>Thu, 09 Sep 2010 18:10:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2010-09-09T12:43:28.283-07:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Hot</category><title>What is YouTube Tippexperience, Word list http://www.youtube.com/tippexperience Type a word and watch funny video</title><description>&lt;h3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Well what is this YouTube Tipp Experience ??&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h3&gt; &lt;p&gt;A Superb New&amp;#160; YouTube campaign by Tipp-Ex correction fluid, a bear attacks the hunter ?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;What you want hunter to do with bear ?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Simply type the text and watch a video in action.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The campaign starts by a video for the bear approaching the hunter, then the hunter uses the product to erase the word “shoots” from the title so &lt;strong&gt;YOU&lt;/strong&gt; can replace it by something else like dancing, sleeping or kissing, Now its your call what you wish to do !! Where speed of&amp;#160; 4Mbps is available at Rs.899 Per month (or USD $20). I posted about &lt;a title="Google’s 1 Gbps Highspeed fastest Internet connection" href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2010/02/googles-1gbs-1gbps-highspeed-broadband.html"&gt;Google’s 1 Gbps Highspeed fastest Internet connection&lt;/a&gt; on Feb 10. Now, Bharti Airtel &lt;a href="http://www.airtel.in/wps/wcm/connect/About%20Bharti%20Airtel/bharti+airtel/media+centre/bharti+airtel+news/telemedia/pg-airtel-introduces-fastest-ever-speed-for-broadband-users-in-india"&gt;introduced&lt;/a&gt; two more internet plan, which uses the VDSL2 Technology (Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line 2) to provide very high speed data transfer to end users. Promised speeds are 50 Mbps. Yes, 50 Mbps Internet connection is now available in India for end user. Have look at both plans in chart below. The only sad thing is Total download limit, Its just 200 GB for whole month. This can be very less comparing to the speed offered. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;table border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" width="560"&gt;&lt;tbody&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;VDSL2 PLANS&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Speed @ 30 Mbps&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Speed @ 50 Mbps&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Monthly Rental&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;Rs. 7999 (or USD$ 177)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;Rs. 8999 (or USD$ 200)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Download Limit&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;200 GB&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;200 GB&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Value Added Services (VAS)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;Parallel Ringing, Website Builder (basic) Unlimited Games on Demand, Online Storage, Anti virus.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="186"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;Parallel Ringing, Website Builder (basic) Unlimited Games on Demand, Online Storage, Anti virus.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt; &lt;p&gt;For people having Greed of Speed can go for it for sure. Currently this service is available in Delhi &amp;amp; Gurgaon only, however soon services will be available in other cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Banglore etc.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;What is VDSL 2 Technology !&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;VDSL2 (Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line) is the newest and most advanced standard of DSL broadband wire line communications. It is designed to support the wide deployment of Triple Play services such as voice, video, data, IPTV, high definition television (HDTV) and interactive gaming. VDSL2 also enables customers to stream HD Content anywhere from the internet world as well.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Airtel is the only telecom operator in India to introduce VDSL2 Technology for a very high speed wired Internet connection.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;To get an idea about speed, let me explain few usual examples.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;You can Download 1 GB data in just around 3 minutes with 50 Mbps connection. &lt;br /&gt;You can watch movies, streaming videos online without any break. &lt;br /&gt;You can Download a Full DVD5 Movie (around 4GB) in 12 to 15 minutes.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Internet Data transfer speeds are at approximately same as speed of Wireless LAN connection. I wonder a day when such speeds will be available with affordable price and Unlimited Data Transfer. I hope this revolution sustains in India.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Also see : &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2010/02/googles-1gbs-1gbps-highspeed-broadband.html"&gt;Google’s 1Gb/s (1Gbps) Highspeed Broadband Internet&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2010/04/fastest-internet-connection-broadband.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S7cke2qd1SI/AAAAAAAAAdU/uvyvw4FhjMU/s72-c/image_thumb%5B1%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-57671144486953682</guid><pubDate>Sat, 06 Mar 2010 14:57:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2010-03-06T06:57:45.201-08:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Hot</category><title>IPL 3 (Indian Premiere League) 2010 T20 Cricket Schedule : Twenty Twenty Cricket IPL is back.</title><description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S5JtZJBoc8I/AAAAAAAAAdI/-AYz2473b0o/s1600-h/ipl-200911%5B7%5D.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="IPL T20 2010" border="0" alt="IPL T20 2010" align="left" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S5JtZ_2y-LI/AAAAAAAAAdM/7Za6Y3X9IcQ/ipl-200911_thumb%5B5%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="240" height="193" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; DLF Indian Premier League 2010 Schedule and Fixtures: The 2010 Indian Premier League season (IPL 3) the third season of the Indian Premier League will start on March 12 and end on April 25, 2010.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Nagpur Cuttack, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Dharamsala have been included as the new venues for the third edition of the IPL.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Semi-finals will be held at M. He confirmed that there is no need to&amp;#160; &lt;a href="http://www.renjusblog.com/2010/02/paypal-export-code-india-iec.html"&gt;get an Import Export code [IEC]&lt;/a&gt; for withdrawing funds from their PayPal account to Indian Bank account. The only thing required now is a &lt;strong&gt;Purpose code&lt;/strong&gt; which is way different from an IEC code.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a name="more"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;What is PayPal Purpose code?&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;Purpose code is a five digit alphanumeric code which is to be entered while withdrawing funds from PayPal to your local bank account. This code helps your bank provide information required by the Reserve Bank of India [RBI] to identify the nature of transaction. Well yes, this is the new Law by Indian Regulators.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h5&gt;How to get Purpose Code for PayPal Account?&lt;/h5&gt; &lt;p&gt;Well, Purpose Code is not same as IEC (Import Export Code). PayPal requires a small five digit alphanumeric code which gives information about the transactions you have made in bank account to Paypal, Banks &amp;amp; Indian Regulatory. There is no need to make any real efforts to get the Purpose Code.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Just wait upto 3rd March 2010 for requesting withdrawal to your bank account along with a paypal purpose code relevant to your business. One thing which can really make you survive in the tech world is innovation. Google had realized this at an early stage and has always tried to innovate. This is the company which gave us a revolutionary search engine; a 1 GB storage E-mail inbox, when 100 MB was considered enough, for free and also interesting products such as Google Maps &amp;amp; Google Earth with Street View. But they are still not satisfied and plan to bring these services at a lightning fast speed to our homes. &lt;a href="http://www.google.com/appserve/fiberrfi"&gt;Google is experimenting&lt;/a&gt; with ultra-fast fiber network internet.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S3UW4Vqd2aI/AAAAAAAAAcY/uyRxctM2M48/s1600-h/image%5B10%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: 0px" title="Google broadband 1gbs" border="0" alt="Google broadband 1gbs" align="left" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S3UW5N3Y4FI/AAAAAAAAAcc/Tz1bgr-wa-E/image_thumb%5B6%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="240" height="141" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Fiber optic communication has never been exploited to its full potential and has failed in reaching out to the masses . Google plans to change this by testing high-speed broadband networks in a small number of trial locations across the United States. Fiber optic communication is the method of transferring data from one place to another by sending pulses of light through an optical fiber. Google plans to revolutionize internet speeds forever by introducing connection speed of a mind boggling 1Gb/sec for as many as 500,000 people. That makes it about 20 times faster than the highest internet speed provided by AT&amp;amp;T or Verizon in USA. That is also about a 1000 times faster than the average speed we see in Indian broadband connections. Google says that this will have three main uses: To encourage the development of bandwidth-intensive applications whose development had been somewhat restricted before, to explore new ways of deploying fiber networks and provide an “open access” network which gives the user a choice to have multiple service providers. If this experiment becomes a success, Google can redefine what internet speed is all about.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:2803c105-da65-41f1-afba-1a3428bb4439" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent"&gt;&lt;div id="0579c618-2684-430b-af8a-7d89d18c2e5b" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wusklcNKDZc&amp;amp;rel=0&amp;amp;color1=0xb1b1b1&amp;amp;color2=0xcfcfcf&amp;amp;hl=en_US&amp;amp;feature=player_embedded&amp;amp;fs=1" target="_new"&gt;&lt;img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S3UW5xSnnCI/AAAAAAAAAcg/aWF3l0JiKfU/video6b9d90e12db1%5B10%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('0579c618-2684-430b-af8a-7d89d18c2e5b'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &amp;quot;&amp;lt;div&amp;gt;&amp;lt;object width=\&amp;quot;425\&amp;quot; height=\&amp;quot;355\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;param name=\&amp;quot;movie\&amp;quot; value=\&amp;quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/wusklcNKDZc&amp;amp;rel=0&amp;amp;color1=0xb1b1b1&amp;amp;color2=0xcfcfcf&amp;amp;hl=en_US&amp;amp;feature=player_embedded&amp;amp;fs=1&amp;amp;hl=en\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/param&amp;gt;&amp;lt;embed src=\&amp;quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/wusklcNKDZc&amp;amp;rel=0&amp;amp;color1=0xb1b1b1&amp;amp;color2=0xcfcfcf&amp;amp;hl=en_US&amp;amp;feature=player_embedded&amp;amp;fs=1&amp;amp;hl=en\&amp;quot; type=\&amp;quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&amp;quot; width=\&amp;quot;425\&amp;quot; height=\&amp;quot;355\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/embed&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/object&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/div&amp;gt;&amp;quot;;" alt=""&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;p&gt;Although, this looks quite promising, this can take up some time to come into practice. Laying an infrastructure for fiber optics is a cumbersome and time consuming process. Also, the estimated cost of the project has been put between $500 million and $1 billion. Google’s lack of experience in this field may also prove to be a hindrance. This will not be a smooth ride for Google and as one industry expert says “If it was easy, everyone would have done it.”&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;This may take even longer to impact India and the pathetic broadband speed we get here. But when it does, it will surely be very big. Imagine downloading 200 of your favourite songs from iTunes in just about 8 seconds. The prospects are obviously exciting but we will have to wait and see how this shapes up. &lt;font size="1"&gt;Via &lt;/font&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.thinkdigit.com/Internet/1Gbsecond-broadband-speeds-Googles-plan-to-revolutionize_4030.html"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;Thinkdigit&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt; &amp;amp; &lt;/font&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.google.com/appserve/fiberrfi"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;Google&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Currently in India Broadband services providers like Reliance &amp;amp; Airtel are good enough to handle current scenario. But things are changing everyday, Soon Indian internet user will be in need of more speeds for their requirements. Currently, 1Gbps speed is like a dream in India, It seems the time arrived when we can expect such things to happen. Previously TATA &lt;a href="http://www.tata.com/article.aspx?artid=Wd8nm81T8jM="&gt;announced Power Launcher&lt;/a&gt; promising broadband speed upto 100mbps for just Rs.10,500 (USD$233) per month. Currently, ISPs like Reliance giving &lt;a href="http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/internet/wired_postpaidplans.html"&gt;2Mbps Unlimited plan&lt;/a&gt; @ Rs. 2599+tax (USD$55) per month.&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2010/02/googles-1gbs-1gbps-highspeed-broadband.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S3UW5N3Y4FI/AAAAAAAAAcc/Tz1bgr-wa-E/s72-c/image_thumb%5B6%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>2</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-6550343341811430687</guid><pubDate>Sun, 24 Jan 2010 00:07:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2010-01-23T16:07:05.772-08:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Mobile</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Software</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">How to</category><title>Nokia Maps with Free Navigation for Smartphones - How to install and navigate Guide</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Recently, Nokia made its navigation service free to all GPS-enabled Nokia devices so it can better compete in the smartphones market against Apple and Google. Now Nokia users will be able to download a client that enables GPS phones to get Ovi Maps and Navigation for free, as well as, various city guides on their phones. Previously, customers could only access the basic maps for free. Turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance and city guides was costing extra bucks.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Here are the official words directly from Nokia&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;blockquote&gt; &lt;p&gt;Until today, Navigation has been kept in the hands of the few. Today that changes. We realised that billions of people around the world already have mobile phones that are perfectly suited to delivering Navigation. So we’re going to let them do that. From this day on, Navigation on your Nokia, with Ovi Maps, will be free for everyone, everywhere, to get people to the places they love. Now, and forever.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/blockquote&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S1uPFhHu8eI/AAAAAAAAAbc/3xUs_9cTKYI/s1600-h/image4.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: 0px" title="Nokia Ovi Maps" border="0" alt="Nokia Ovi Maps" align="left" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S1uPG3jCFvI/AAAAAAAAAbg/pRsIGUI8eps/image_thumb2.png?imgmax=800" width="240" height="124" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; Initially, the free service will be available for 10 of Nokia's phones, including the Nokia X6, N97 mini (&lt;strike&gt;Note: Not the standard N97 just yet&lt;/strike&gt;), E72, E55, E52, 6730 classic, 6710 Navigator, 5800 Xpressmusic, 5800 Navigation Edition, or 5230.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Update&lt;/strong&gt;: A &lt;a href="http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions/board/message?board.id=navigation&amp;amp;thread.id=16086"&gt;support note from Nokia&lt;/a&gt; was just released saying that the new &lt;strong&gt;Ovi Maps will be released for the N97 on January 28th 2010&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Eventually, the software client will be available for all Nokia GPS-enabled phones. And starting in March, the company will begin shipping new GPS Nokia phones with the software and maps for the service pre-installed.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Some of the Basic features of the New &amp;amp; Free Nokia Ovi Maps with Navigation:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Maps are stored locally on your phone or memory card, and no continuous data connection like GPRS is needed &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Faster zoom and unzoom with clear map, as it wont download anything, unlike google maps navigation which uses data connection to download maps in real time. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Traffic Information in 10 countries &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Lane assistance, speed trap warnings for safe driving. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Pedestrian mode, including shortcuts only possible on foot &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Free Lonely Planet/Michelin travel guides &lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;For the people which are new in Technology world let me explain&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;What is GPS Navigation&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;A &lt;b&gt;GPS navigation device&lt;/b&gt; is any device that receives &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Positioning_System"&gt;Global Positioning System&lt;/a&gt; &lt;a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S1uPH8lzqtI/AAAAAAAAAbk/KLfny_iZKNM/s1600-h/image13.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: 0px" title="GPS Navigation" border="0" alt="GPS Navigation" align="left" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/S1uPJDy0dgI/AAAAAAAAAbo/VOtWK_XI6Yc/image_thumb9.png?imgmax=800" width="150" height="267" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; (GPS) signals for the purpose of determining the present location. These devices are used in military, aviation, marine and consumer product applications. But now almost every new smart phones are GPS enabled, So can say that in near future you will find GPS device in every hand. Navigation software is available for most 21st century smartphones as well as some Java-enabled phones that allows them to use an internal or external GPS receiver (external means, connecting via cable or Bluetooth). Some phones with GPS capability work by &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assisted_GPS"&gt;assisted GPS&lt;/a&gt; (A-GPS) only, and do not function when out of range of their carrier's cell towers. Others can navigate worldwide with satellite GPS signals as a dedicated portable GPS receiver does&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;How to check if your phone has GPS in it&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;Free navigation by Nokia Ovi Maps works only with Nokia Smart phones. If you are not sure that your phone has GPS in it or not, check &lt;a title="Nokia GPS enabled phone list" href="http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/matrix_gps_1.html"&gt;this link&lt;/a&gt;. See if your phone is listed there or not, if not then you have to buy some external GPS device for the job.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;How to Install Free Nokia Ovi Maps Navigation in Mobile Phone&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;Here is the step by step guide to install Nokia Ovi Maps navigation system in your smart phone for free.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1.&lt;/strong&gt; Go to this link &lt;a title="http://maps.nokia.com/explore-services/ovi-maps/downloads" href="http://maps.nokia.com/explore-services/ovi-maps/downloads"&gt;http://maps.nokia.com/explore-services/ovi-maps/downloads&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2.&lt;/strong&gt; Select your device (Model number of your phone), If your phone is not listed there, see step 3.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;Unfortunately during my test Nokia’s downloading link was very slow, i suppose it was due to too much load. Browser Size tool is based on a sample of data to Google site from visitors. This special too uses a special code which collects data of height and width of the browser for a sample of users. For the particular portion of your site, the tool guide you what percentage of users can see it without scrolling. For example, if an important button like DONATE US is in the 20% region, it means that 80% of users/site visitors must have to scroll in order to see it.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Sy0UKmvfcSI/AAAAAAAAAbE/_kgTvj5-Z8s/s1600-h/image%5B15%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Sy0UL_AFosI/AAAAAAAAAbI/vhJvdv1T2qI/image_thumb%5B9%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="240" height="200" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;There is no need to check this tool, if your site have some extraordinary content like the one you see in left side image. Nobody wants to miss such things, They do scrolling, coz 70% of visitors are not able to see what there were expecting. But Not everyone is lucky enough to have such content at their site !&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;So lets see the importance of your own content. Upper portion or the front portion of a site is really very important and is very first impression of your site, if important buttons or gadgets are clearly visible without scrolling, there are better chances to have bright attention of your site/blog visitors.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Sy0UMgyBWQI/AAAAAAAAAbM/_daZ-_qCKAw/s1600-h/image%5B4%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="google browser size" border="0" alt="google browser size" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Sy0UNqBkGfI/AAAAAAAAAbQ/hoE7mgQuyOk/image_thumb%5B2%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="554" height="427" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; As far as i can guess, 70% of my home page visitors are not able to see 4th post in their browser without scrolling. You can simply put your site URL and check if important sections of your site is visible to 80% of visitors by visiting &lt;a href="http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/" target="_blank"&gt;Google Labs Browser Size tool.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Related : &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/11/google-related-links-related-posts.html"&gt;Google Related Posts widget for Blogger or Wordpress Blogs&lt;/a&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&amp;amp; &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/07/web-speed-will-be-optimized-up-to-10.html"&gt;Web Speed will be Optimized up to 10 Times Faster in 2010&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/12/check-if-important-portion-of-your.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Sy0UL_AFosI/AAAAAAAAAbI/vhJvdv1T2qI/s72-c/image_thumb%5B9%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>1</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-2014718608225963026</guid><pubDate>Wed, 16 Dec 2009 01:49:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-12-15T17:49:15.241-08:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Web</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Internet</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">How to</category><title>How to Backup or Restore Mozilla Firefox Profiles/Saved Passwords/Bookmarks/Addons</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Mozilla has a noticeable market share in browser world, One of my favourite browser. Almost every user wish to add several useful addons/plugins, but it can be a pain if you &lt;a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8cRzMAiI/AAAAAAAAAak/0Q6x5Oh6i5A/s1600-h/image%5B33%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8d8JQgPI/AAAAAAAAAao/DIFE-_Ep1Ks/image_thumb%5B23%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="140" height="105" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; are ready to format your PC, or shifting your PC from one to another. There is no&amp;#160; default option in Mozilla Firefox (at least yet, while am writing this post) to backup your passwords or profiles, that you can restore after a fresh install of your new Operating System. If the concern is only Bookmarks than You can always backup your bookmarks with Mozilla Firefox Default bookmarks backup utility. Its simple&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Go to Bookmarks Menu in Mozilla Firefox – Click Organize Bookmarks&amp;#160; &lt;br /&gt;– Click Dropdown menu Import and Backup (for mozilla firefox version 3.5 or above, for eariler version Go to File Menu for Backup and restore option)&amp;#160; &lt;br /&gt;– You can backup your bookmarks in 2 formats (json &amp;amp; HTML). Save it somewhere safely and you will be able to restore it after a fresh install of your OS.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;What about Mozilla Firefox Saved Passwords ?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Well if you only want to backup Saved Passwords in Mozilla Firefox, here is the guide. For full Full Mozilla Firefox&amp;#160; backup including Profiles, Saved Passwords, Bookmarks etc. scroll down for full backup guide.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;How to Backup Saved Passwords in Mozilla Firefox&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;Well its really simple, you just have to download a new Add On Called Password Exporter. &lt;a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2848" target="_blank"&gt;Download Password Exporter Mozilla Add-on&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Once add-on installed, restart firefox and go to Tools Menu and Click Add-ons. Add Ons screen will pop up, Find Password Exporter in the list. Click on Options button &lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8fL48fGI/AAAAAAAAAas/_4zqsbA3C_k/s1600-h/image%5B11%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="Mozilla Firefox Password Exporter" border="0" alt="Mozilla Firefox Password Exporter" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8g-NM50I/AAAAAAAAAaw/y9MHByYB4po/image_thumb%5B7%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="493" height="100" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; Clicking on Option button will pop up Import/Export Passwords Dialog Box. Here you can either Import or Export and even you can encrypt passwords for safer side. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8iHZHHeI/AAAAAAAAAa0/d36BNyaFAOk/s1600-h/image%5B7%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="Mozilla Firefox Import Export Passwords" border="0" alt="Mozilla Firefox Import Export Passwords" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8j3_hhbI/AAAAAAAAAa4/QDd742uNDzY/image_thumb%5B3%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="445" height="374" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; You can export paswords in CSV or XML formats. A spreadsheet with all your IDs and Passwords would be in CSV format. Save it somewhere in safe place that you can restore with same way by selecting Import Passwords option, as you see in above screenshot.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;What if you wants full Backup of Mozilla Firefox Profiles?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Well here is the guide to make a full Mozilla Firefox backup including Profiles, Saved Passwords, Bookmarks etc. everything.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h5&gt;How to Make Full Backup of Mozilla Firefox Profiles &lt;/h5&gt; &lt;p&gt;You can do it automatically via a FREE software or can do it manually.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Manual&lt;/strong&gt; way is real simple but involves risk of identifying the real location.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;For Windows 2000/XP machines&lt;/strong&gt; the locations for your Firefox profiles are at&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#800000" size="1"&gt;C:\Documents and Settings\&amp;lt;user name&amp;gt;\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\&amp;lt;Profile name&amp;gt;\&lt;/font&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;For Windows 9x/Me PCs&lt;/strong&gt; the location for your Firefox profiles are at:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#800000" size="1"&gt;C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\&amp;lt;Profile name&amp;gt;\&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;As far as i can see from my PC, its at&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#800000" size="1"&gt;C:\Documents and Settings\I\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\5h3a12iy.default&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Just copy the profiles folder to somewhere safe place, but it may gives problem to automatically show up in the list after a fresh installation of OS. So i would prefer the 2nd way, thats mentioned below.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Automatic&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/download.php" target="_blank"&gt;Download a Free Application MozBackup&lt;/a&gt; and install it. It supports Firefox version from 1 to 3.6 and several other applications like Thunderbird, Netscape etc.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;After you install the application, launch it. Its really simple as you have to either select Backup or Restore the profile option. If you have several profiles you can choose which profile to backup. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8lBSFURI/AAAAAAAAAa8/384PUfwAwM8/s1600-h/image%5B23%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="Mozilla Profile backup" border="0" alt="Mozilla Profile backup" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8mXkNBPI/AAAAAAAAAbA/z6KDL7DUGVo/image_thumb%5B17%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="501" height="375" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Restoring is same and simple as above, Just launch the application and select restore option and select the file you saved before.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;You can use several other utilities/Add ons to backup Mozilla firefox profiles and passwords like&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile" target="_blank"&gt;Mozilla’s Official Profile Backup Support&lt;/a&gt; shows you a way to backup profiles manually. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://customsoftwareconsult.com/extensions/febe/febe.html" target="_blank"&gt;Another firefox extension&lt;/a&gt; FEBE for the same purpose.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Related Post : &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/05/select-mutiple-lines-of-text-in-firefox.html"&gt;Select Multiple Lines of Text non-consecutive way in Firefox&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/12/how-to-backup-or-restore-mozilla.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Syg8d8JQgPI/AAAAAAAAAao/DIFE-_Ep1Ks/s72-c/image_thumb%5B23%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-1327473209902329275</guid><pubDate>Thu, 19 Nov 2009 13:44:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-11-19T05:44:34.759-08:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Web</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">SEO</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">blogging</category><title>Google Related Links / Related Posts widget for Blogger or Wordpress Blogs</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Wordpress has inbuilt pluggins for Related posts widget, What about Blogger ? We previously tried several coding and hacks for blogger related posts widget. But that was restricted for only category wise related posts. Once there was a time when linkwithin got popular because of blogger restrictions. Now we have new Google Related Links widget.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://relatedlinks.googlelabs.com/"&gt;Google Related&lt;/a&gt; links is a new (currently in invite only mode) service from Google which can display related links and searches into your blog posts. Here are official words&lt;/p&gt; &lt;blockquote&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;“Related Links is a tool to help webmasters increase page views on their sites.Given a page on your site, Related Links can choose the most related pages from your site and show them in a gadget. You can embed this gadget in your page to help your users reach other pages easily. Related Links also suggests searches that users can run within your site to find even more related pages.”&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/blockquote&gt; &lt;p&gt;Can you apply for this widget ?&amp;#160; Yes&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;To request an invite you just have to send an email to &lt;a href="mailto:relatedlinks@google.com"&gt;relatedlinks@google.com&lt;/a&gt; mentioning your Gmail address, Website Domains (&lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com"&gt;www.ialwayscapital.com&lt;/a&gt;) and approximate pageviews you have per day.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;They are fast enough to reply the emails, i sent them an email requesting for invite and got the reply in 1 or 2 hours.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/SwVLvTfPjEI/AAAAAAAAAac/S_FImqVFcvM/s1600-h/image%5B10%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="google related links" border="0" alt="google related links" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/SwVLwUTycsI/AAAAAAAAAag/ZNLN5Vhl2qU/image_thumb%5B8%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="487" height="584" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;You can customize the widget as per your needs, You can edit width, fonts, colors, you can select a option if you want to display searches or just related links or posts. You can also select the number of related links/posts. You can exclude some text from titles like I exluded “I always Capital” for better results.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The best part of this widget is you can see Statistics like number of time the widget has been displayed and clicks done.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Still confused ? Try out &lt;a href="http://relatedlinks.googlelabs.com/config/demo"&gt;DEMO&lt;/a&gt; or Google Related Links.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;How to add Google Related links Widget in Blogger Blog !&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;Well its too simple, Simply copy the code and paste it in new HTML/Javascript widget of your blogger blog. You can place it anywhere you like.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Few Doubts : As the widget is new and under testing, it has some bugs like sometimes unknown or bad characters in post titles, links only opens in new window. etc.. Hope to see fixes in near future.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Also Read, &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/05/change-blogger-post-title-to-increase.html"&gt;Change Blogger Post Title to increase your search engine rankings&lt;/a&gt; &amp;amp; &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/07/bloggerblogspot-post-views-hit-counter.html"&gt;Blogger hit/post counter for individual post&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/11/google-related-links-related-posts.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/SwVLwUTycsI/AAAAAAAAAag/ZNLN5Vhl2qU/s72-c/image_thumb%5B8%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-3846784697084129704</guid><pubDate>Mon, 02 Nov 2009 02:52:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-11-01T18:52:12.292-08:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Web</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Internet</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">How to</category><title>Register or Buy Domain in any Language (Non-Latin Characters)</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Now get your Domain names in your own or any language characters. And probably after that we will see something like screenshots. &lt;br /&gt;The proposal was past last year, the final plans were approved this Friday, on the 30th of October and the first applications will be accepted from the 16th of November.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Domain written in Below screenshot is in Hindi (Indian Language), Try yours&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su5JVtHHRpI/AAAAAAAAAaU/wcBOziTxycU/s1600-h/image%5B15%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su5JWxVV2CI/AAAAAAAAAaY/JSKEX-YqiHs/image_thumb%5B9%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="540" height="99" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a name="more"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p align="left"&gt;Here is the official note&lt;/p&gt; &lt;blockquote&gt; &lt;p align="left"&gt;&amp;quot; The coming introduction of non-Latin characters represents the biggest technical change to the Internet since it was created four decades ago,&amp;quot; said ICANN chairman Peter Dengate Thrush. &amp;quot;Right now Internet address endings are limited to Latin characters – A to Z. But the Fast Track Process is the first step in bringing the 100,000 characters of the languages of the world online for domain names.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/blockquote&gt; &lt;p align="left"&gt;The chairman of ICANN explained that out of the 1.6 billion Internet users around the world, more than half uses language with characters not related to the Roman alphabet. &lt;br /&gt;Few countries such as China and Thailand, had already introduced &amp;quot;schemes&amp;quot; that allow users to enter the web addresses into their own languages, but these manoeuvres have not been approved internationally and do not necessarily work on all computers. I wonder now what will be the future of Domain names !! I mean it will be more difficult to remember such domain names that are not in our language and not even in known text characters. Lets see. &lt;br /&gt;Read more details at &lt;a title="Register Domain in any language." href="http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-30oct09-en.htm"&gt;ICANN&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Also Read &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/05/redirectforward-yahoo-naked-domainurl.html"&gt;How to Redirect/Forward Yahoo Domain without WWW to blogger&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/11/register-or-buy-domain-in-any-language.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su5JVA2GwkI/AAAAAAAAAaQ/1eG0SBUvvic/s72-c/image_thumb%5B12%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>1</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-3216147127826129177</guid><pubDate>Mon, 02 Nov 2009 01:45:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-11-01T17:45:45.374-08:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Hot</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Hardware</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Win7</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Windows</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Software</category><title>Buy Microsoft Windows 7 in cheapest price &amp; get wrist watch free</title><description>&lt;p&gt;After a long waiting Windows 7 is now finally available in India Online Stores. If you weren’t sure about switching to an Android phone in the near future, this might put you over the edge. Google Maps Navigation is an absolutely killer app. And it is only available for Android 2.0 phones.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Google Maps already has 50 million active users across various mobile phones, says Google. But what users have today isn’t even close to the new Navigation product. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;First off, it’s connected, which puts it ahead of all but a tiny percentage of in-car navigation systems which have no Internet connectivity (Dash is a notable exception).&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su4D4hfuFsI/AAAAAAAAAZw/HguRZyFlNmM/s1600-h/image%5B4%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su4D58I7OSI/AAAAAAAAAZ0/ppmw8zpPL50/image_thumb%5B2%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="200" height="356" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;strong&gt;The application is also completely free.&lt;/strong&gt; So all those paid navigation apps (Navigon, TomTom, CoPilot, MapQuest, GoKivo and Sygic Mobile) are at an immediate disadvantage.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;But even if Google charged for this app, it would still win hands down. The features include easy search (no need for address), voice search, traffic information (from data sources and crowd sourced from app), and street view close up pictures when you get near your destination. And the car dock mode gives bigger, simpler icons and auto-voice mode (see video):&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Search in plain English.&lt;/strong&gt; No need to know the address. You can type a business name (e.g. “starbucks”) or even a kind of a business (e.g. “thai restaurant”), just like you would on Google.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Search by voice.&lt;/strong&gt; Speak your destination instead of typing (English only): “Navigate to the de Young Museum in San Francisco”.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Traffic view.&lt;/strong&gt; An on-screen indicator glows green, yellow, or red based on the current traffic conditions along your route. A single touch on the indicator toggles a traffic view that shows the traffic ahead.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Search along route.&lt;/strong&gt; Search for any kind of business along your route, or turn on popular layers such as gas stations, restaurants, or parking.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Satellite view.&lt;/strong&gt; View your route overlaid on 3D satellite views with Google’s high-resolution aerial imagery.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Street View.&lt;/strong&gt; Visualize turns overlaid on Google’s Street View imagery. Navigation automatically switches to Street View as you approach your destination.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Car dock mode.&lt;/strong&gt; For certain devices, placing your phone in a car dock activates a special mode that makes it easy to use your device at arm’s length.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Here’s Navigation in the Droid dock, followed by an image gallery for the app:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h5&gt;Video Demo Of Google Maps Navigation&lt;/h5&gt; &lt;div style="padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Now no need to open browser every time you wish to upload some files to Windows Live Skydrive, Here is the simple way to upload all the files direct from your Windows Explorer (My Computer)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://skydrive.live.com/"&gt;Windows Live SkyDrive&lt;/a&gt; is a file storage and sharing service that allows users to upload files to the computing cloud, then access them from a web browser. It uses Windows Live ID to control access to the user's files, allowing them to keep the files private, share with contacts, or make the files public. Publicly-shared files do not require a Windows Live ID to access. &lt;br /&gt;The service currently offers 25 GB of free personal storage, with individual files limited to 50 MB, but this can only be accessed through a browser. However, there is an application which integrates with Windows Explorer and displays the Windows Live SkyDrive as a drive on your computer.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su37kQF1WGI/AAAAAAAAAZg/tkDeBvXwV2k/s1600-h/image%5B10%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su37lPSsElI/AAAAAAAAAZk/nQnbVh5DR04/image_thumb%5B6%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="139" height="77" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; The application is called SkyDrive Explorer and it's a free, easy-to-use extension for Windows Explorer. With SkyDrive Explorer you can make any every-day operations with your documents from Microsoft Live SkyDriv service using Windows Explorer, as if they were on your computer. Moreover you don't need to install and configure any additional programs or ActiveX components. SkyDrive Explorer will organize the interaction with the online storage itself.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a name="more"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;SkyDrive Explorer currently offers the following functionality:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;View the structure and contents of folders in SkyDrive. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;View files information (type, size, creation date in GMT format). &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Create new root folders and subfolders. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Copy files into the storage. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Delete files and folders. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Copy files from the storage to the computer. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Copy folders and subfolders from the storage to the computer keeping their structure. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Use Drag &amp;amp; Drop for files operations. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Rename files and folders. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Create links to SkyDrive folders on your computer.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su37mbnG4MI/AAAAAAAAAZo/pXHQ_9oy7jk/s1600-h/image%5B7%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/Su37nauOmTI/AAAAAAAAAZs/5fLzjAW8dos/image_thumb%5B5%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="540" height="432" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;SkyDrive Explorer makes it easier to work with files that are hosted at the Windows Live SkyDrive service. It provides access to some features that are not offered by the web service itself including multi-file-operations like renaming, deleting or copying multiple files or folders. The standard Microsoft library for Windows Live ID services is used which means that the personal information are not passed to the SkyDrive Explorer engine. While it is&amp;#160; definitely odd that Nokia did not include this application by default, How can they miss such great application with these high resolution camera phones. They not only removed the application in default package infact they go ahead and &lt;a href="http://nds1.nokia.com//NOKIA_COM_1/Microsites/BetaLabs/applications/apps/Nokia_Barcode_Reader_S60_32.sis"&gt;hide a download link&lt;/a&gt; on the internet, so you could not get the official app easily.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTZl-dEFeI/AAAAAAAAAZY/fGKrV5iW120/s1600-h/image%5B3%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTZnBT4wkI/AAAAAAAAAZc/SofCJi40N0A/image_thumb%5B1%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="240" height="320" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;If you don’t know, the Nokia Barcode application is able to scan &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/10/what-is-qr-codes-qr-codes-vs-2d.html"&gt;QR barcodes&lt;/a&gt;, which can contain any sort of information, including web URLs and vCards, SMS etc. If you’re a Firefox user, there is an addon that can create a 2D barcode on the fly, from any highlighted text, or even the webpage you’re currently viewing. You can &lt;a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2780"&gt;download this plugin here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;You can also use Nokia’s mobile code generator service here to create your own custom 2D barcodes, for whatever information you might need. If you own a Nokia S60v3 FP2 device, such as the N96 or N85, you can &lt;a href="http://nds1.nokia.com//NOKIA_COM_1/Microsites/BetaLabs/applications/apps/Nokia_Barcode_Reader_S60_32.sis"&gt;download the official Nokia 2D barcode reader here&lt;/a&gt;. You can also check here for a list of other applications, that will work on basically any phone on the market that can use Java applications.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Also read, &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/10/what-is-qr-codes-qr-codes-vs-2d.html"&gt;What is QR Codes ? QR Codes is a beautiful way of storing &amp;amp; exchanging text/url/numbers/sms/vcards information inside images.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTQFpHY7wI/AAAAAAAAAY4/e1QxWuXqDg4/s1600-h/image%5B2%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="barcode encoded" border="0" alt="barcode encoded" align="left" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTQGpBatsI/AAAAAAAAAY8/bdHhAiFG2Uc/image_thumb.png?imgmax=800" width="186" height="186" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;For an example, See image in left of this text, What do you find in those black &amp;amp; white dots or lines or squares ? it makes no sense to the human eye but the information contained inside the image can be extracted instantly on the desktop or a mobile phone like Nokia FP1 &amp;amp; FP2 phones using free decoders or Barcode readers. The image in left shows url of our blog &lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com"&gt;http://www.ialwayscapital.com&lt;/a&gt;, can you read it ? Read this article to download Free Barcode reader for your mobile phone. Here is how i made the above QR Code.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTQHbTWUiI/AAAAAAAAAZA/HxQMmcAMGJY/s1600-h/image%5B10%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="qr codes encoded" border="0" alt="qr codes encoded" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTQIQWb94I/AAAAAAAAAZE/gGQU8eeJGcQ/image_thumb%5B6%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="578" height="192" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Unlike the more popular bar codes, a QR Code stores data in both the vertical and horizontal directions and hence have more storage capacity per unit area. &lt;a href="http://www.denso-wave.com/qrcode/qrfeature-e.html"&gt;Denso Wave&lt;/a&gt;, the company that introduced QR Codes to the world, says that&amp;#160; QR codes are readable from any direction and that data stored inside QR codes can be restored even if the corresponding image is partially damaged. There is difference between traditional 2D barcode and QR codes, can see that in below image. &lt;a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTRg2Y2JYI/AAAAAAAAAZQ/0LIiWlT5brs/s1600-h/image%5B26%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="QR codes" border="0" alt="QR codes" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTRh-438wI/AAAAAAAAAZU/nY_Tf_MKYA4/image_thumb%5B18%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="450" height="134" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;If you like to make your own QR Codes, go to &lt;a href="http://qrcode.kaywa.com/"&gt;Kaywa&lt;/a&gt; – a web based QR code image generator. Now to decode these QR images, either use your Nokia Mobile phone or download a small &lt;a href="http://www.intelcom.ru/2d/english/demo.php"&gt;Java app&lt;/a&gt; for desktop or get &lt;a href="http://mobilecodes.nokia.com/scan.htm"&gt;this reader&lt;/a&gt; if you have a Java enabled mobile phone like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, Motorola etc. If you wish to download symbian application for your Nokia N96 or N85, here is the direct &lt;a href="http://nds1.nokia.com//NOKIA_COM_1/Microsites/BetaLabs/applications/apps/Nokia_Barcode_Reader_S60_32.sis" target="_blank"&gt;download link for Nokia Barcode reader&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;There is &lt;a href="http://code.google.com/apis/chart/#qrcodes"&gt;Chart API&lt;/a&gt; in Google also supports QR Codes so you may convert any piece of text or hyperlink into an QR image just by writing simple URLs.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;For iphone users there is also an &lt;a href="http://www.imatrix.lt/"&gt;iPhone app&lt;/a&gt; for decoding QR coded images while this &lt;a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2780"&gt;Firefox add-in&lt;/a&gt; helps you convert web pages into QR images.&lt;a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTQJZKbKrI/AAAAAAAAAZI/gxXs0y4V-xY/s1600-h/image%5B20%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="iphone barcode" border="0" alt="iphone barcode" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTQKgtp-JI/AAAAAAAAAZM/jOKQLHzK0mg/image_thumb%5B14%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="450" height="144" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; You can choose several other tools to scan and read barcodes using mobile phone like &lt;/p&gt; &lt;li&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.activeprint.org/download.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;Glass Reader&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.upc.fi/en/upcode/instructions/download/" rel="nofollow"&gt;UpCode Reader&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;&lt;a href="http://semacode.org/software/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Semacode Reader&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/li&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/10/what-is-qr-codes-qr-codes-vs-2d.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StTQGpBatsI/AAAAAAAAAY8/bdHhAiFG2Uc/s72-c/image_thumb.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-1727615703857078690</guid><pubDate>Tue, 13 Oct 2009 16:04:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-10-13T09:04:34.405-07:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Windows</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Software</category><title>How to run Linux Applications in Windows [andLinux]</title><description>&lt;p&gt;andLinux is a complete Ubuntu Linux system running seamlessly in Windows 2000 based &lt;a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSlBHocbHI/AAAAAAAAAYo/Eeh_uSq2jx0/s1600-h/image%5B2%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="windows and linux" border="0" alt="windows and linux" align="left" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSlB-SKr0I/AAAAAAAAAYs/FmdcUvuAjko/image_thumb.png?imgmax=800" width="68" height="68" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; systems (2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 7; 32-bit versions only). &lt;br /&gt;andLinux uses coLinux, a port of the Linux kernel to Windows which allows andLinux to run almost all Linux applications in Windows, without modifications and comes in two flavors: KDE and XFCE. &lt;br /&gt;Since andLinux installs a full operating system, you'll need to make sure you've got quite a bit of free space on your hard drive. The KDE version eats up more than 4GB of space while the XFCE version takes about 2GB. If all you want to do is run a single Linux application like Amarok, Ardour, or Cinelerra, you might be better off checking out KDE for Windows and waiting for the developers ro port your favorite applications. But if you want to be able to run any Linux application you like without rebooting, andLinux is worth checking out.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;What you'll get with andLinux:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;A fully functional Linux system, however without the usual desktop (you've already got one from Windows) &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;a second panel (e.g. at the top of your Windows desktop) or a second start menu (in the system tray next to the clock), from which you can start Linux applications &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Linux applications and Windows applications can be used simultaneously and you can cut and paste text between them &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;apt / Synaptic to install further applications &lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSlC7_X4GI/AAAAAAAAAYw/XlRfU6sP6xw/s1600-h/image%5B7%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="andlinux" border="0" alt="andlinux" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSlEBIwCfI/AAAAAAAAAY0/tQ_ADEo1tT0/image_thumb%5B3%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="392" height="320" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;h4&gt;Using andLinux&lt;/h4&gt; &lt;p&gt;After installing it, if you didn't set andLinux to start automatically you'll need to start andLinux with the helper app before you do anything with it. After it's started, you can now launch any of the pre-installed applications you want. You can do this in a number of ways, but I'll highlight a couple. &lt;br /&gt;First, you'll notice that you've got a new system tray app running; it's a little KDE Start Menu, giving you access to several default KDE apps, from Konqueror (a file manager, web browser, et al) to Synaptic (a package manager from which you'll install new apps). I'm highlighting these two in particular because you can browse and launch more apps from Konqueror and you can install new apps from Synaptic. &lt;br /&gt;First, if you launch Konqueror and go to the Applications tab, you can browse some of your installed Linux applications by category, from Entertainment and Games to Internet and Multimedia. If this is your first time playing with Linux, I'd recommend trying out a few different apps to get a feel for what's available. &lt;br /&gt;How to install applications? It's very simple, use Synaptic from the main KDE or XFCE menu and browse for applications. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.andlinux.org/downloads.php"&gt;Download andLinux&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p align="right"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;via &lt;/font&gt;&lt;a href="http://webupd8.blogspot.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;Webupd8&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/10/how-to-run-linux-applications-in.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSlB-SKr0I/AAAAAAAAAYs/FmdcUvuAjko/s72-c/image_thumb.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-5471812988427091409</guid><pubDate>Tue, 13 Oct 2009 15:50:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-10-13T08:50:29.691-07:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Software</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Internet</category><title>Download FREE ZoneAlarm Pro Firewall (Today Only)</title><description>&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;ZoneAlarm Pro is a commercial edition that include more features that the freeware &lt;a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StShuno7CvI/AAAAAAAAAYY/yT1IufIdi9Q/s1600-h/image%5B12%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="zonealarm" border="0" alt="zonealarm" align="left" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StShvgbO4kI/AAAAAAAAAYc/5Z4DjM1llYc/image_thumb%5B8%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="135" height="169" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; ZoneAlarm firewall. Since April, the app has seen 3 million downloads and is steadily growing in popularity. Today, Dictionary.com (which as part of the &lt;a href="http://www.ask.com/"&gt;Ask.com&lt;/a&gt; network that also includes Thesaurus.com) is launching a similar &lt;a href="http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/email/3626"&gt;application&lt;/a&gt; for BlackBerry smartphones, which has a few key differentiating factors from its sister iPhone app. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSZ9d4e_eI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/jrQSlf8VBzM/s1600-h/image%5B4%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSZ-R_ioeI/AAAAAAAAAYU/8PJONINcZ64/image_thumb%5B2%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="150" height="240" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; In addition to providing users with more than 500,000 words, definitions and synonyms, the app also features audio pronunciations, spelling suggestions, a “Word of the Day” for both English and Spanish and the ability to view a recently searched terms list. One of the features that is exclusively available on the Blackberry app is the ability to access a definition or synonym while reading or drafting an email. The app lets you highlight the word and you’ll be given an option to find a synonym or definition. The app also has a native feature that lets you email or SMS text any word and its definition to yourself or a contact. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Doug Leeds, president of Dictionary.com, says that the features included in the Dictionary.com app were designed to meet the specific professional needs of BlackBerry users. For example, definitions have been condensed to be more functional on a Blackberry screen. Leeds also tells us that they are releasing their API to partners to incorporate into various applications. While Dictionary.com is still finalizing partners, Leeds says that the API will be incorporated on e-books, letting users (but wouldn’t say which one). &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;While Dictionary.com’s BlackBerry app is free, the Oxford American Dictionary is $19.99 on Blackberry’s App world. Dictionary.com was bought by IAC-run Ask.com in July of 2008 when the conglomerate bought Lexico, the operator of Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com and Reference.com.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p align="right"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;[via &lt;/font&gt;&lt;a href="http://techcrunch.com/"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;techcrunch&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;]&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/10/free-dictionary-for-blackberry-with.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSZ-R_ioeI/AAAAAAAAAYU/8PJONINcZ64/s72-c/image_thumb%5B2%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-6607294693285927527</guid><pubDate>Tue, 13 Oct 2009 15:00:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-10-13T08:00:18.745-07:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Web</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">SEO</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Internet</category><title>Woopra Web Analytics for Live Tracking now Open for all</title><description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://woopra.com"&gt;Woopra&lt;/a&gt;, the impressive live tracking and analytics service, &lt;a href="http://www.woopra.com/blog/2009/10/12/woopra-officially-exits-beta/"&gt;today announced&lt;/a&gt; that&amp;#160; they are opening their doors for all new signups. Until today, new users had to be approved if they didn’t &lt;a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSV-683JZI/AAAAAAAAAYE/DKLUh9uJToc/s1600-h/image%5B3%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSV_qkzrfI/AAAAAAAAAYI/hl1_CkLa5-s/image_thumb%5B1%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="208" height="46" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;have an invite code. &lt;br /&gt;Sure, there are a lot of analytics alternatives, so what makes Woopra so special? Real Time. It’s the big trend this year, and Woopra certainly delivers. Woopra is similar to Google Analytics but provides real time stats and a number of additional features, such as the ability to chat real time with visitors to the site. &lt;br /&gt;With today’s public launch of Woopra, one of the biggest changes is the pricing. Until now, Woopra has been free for all users. Coming with the public launch is paid accounts. All current users are getting moved to the free account (pageviews limit: 250,000), with an option to upgrade to a premium account.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; width: 327px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:45769b04-6fac-4b1d-b63d-8cddc7267e69" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent"&gt;&lt;div id="818c2973-210d-4e71-b89d-a315b7786b8d" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.viddler.com/" target="_new"&gt;&lt;img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSWAS5YbGI/AAAAAAAAAYM/LPhebZTq58s/video91ffadb44fdc%5B4%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('818c2973-210d-4e71-b89d-a315b7786b8d'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &amp;quot;&amp;lt;div&amp;gt;&amp;lt;embed src=\&amp;quot;http://www.viddler.com/player/cf04cc6f//\&amp;quot; width=\&amp;quot;327\&amp;quot; height=\&amp;quot;276\&amp;quot; wmode=\&amp;quot;transparent\&amp;quot; type=\&amp;quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&amp;quot; allowScriptAccess=\&amp;quot;always\&amp;quot; allowFullScreen=\&amp;quot;true\&amp;quot; name=\&amp;quot;viddler_cf04cc6f/\&amp;quot; &amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/embed&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/div&amp;gt;&amp;quot;;" alt=""&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;p align="right"&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;[via &lt;/font&gt;&lt;a href="http://techcrunch.com/"&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;techcrunch&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;font size="1"&gt;]&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/10/woopra-web-analytics-for-live-tracking.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/StSV_qkzrfI/AAAAAAAAAYI/hl1_CkLa5-s/s72-c/image_thumb%5B1%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-4805359098256300179</guid><pubDate>Sun, 06 Sep 2009 11:13:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-09-06T04:13:26.782-07:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Hardware</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Win7</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Windows</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Software</category><title>Difference between Intel Core 2 Duo vs Quad Core &amp; Intel Dual Core vs Quad Core</title><description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Queries Solved: &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;What is the difference between Intel &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/05/what-is-core-2-duo.html"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Core 2 Duo&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;em&gt; vs Quad Core ? &lt;br /&gt;Performance difference between Intel Dual Core and Quad Core ! &lt;br /&gt;Compare Quad Core vs Dual Core vs Core 2 Duo for general purpose &amp;amp; multitasking.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;In our previous post, We covered a wonderful and informative article &lt;a title="Core 2 Duo vs Dual Core vs Pentium D" href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/07/difference-between-intel-core-2-duo-vs.html"&gt;explaining the difference between Intel Core 2 Duo &amp;amp; Intel Dual Core &amp;amp; Intel Pentium D&lt;/a&gt;. Dual Core is a name of Class or Architecture of processors which refers to any processor weather its Intel or AMD with two cores on a same chip. Intel registered at trademark for name Intel Core or Intel Core2duo. The overall and final fact is, all the above mentioned processors are Dual Core Processors and have &lt;a title="Dual Core Architecture" href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/07/difference-between-intel-core-2-duo-vs.html#dualcore"&gt;Dual Core architecture&lt;/a&gt; except Quad Core which has 4 cores in a single chip.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;A Dual Core processor contains two cores &amp;amp; a Quad Core contains four Cores, In a very near future we may see Multi Core Processors with 16 or 32 Cores in a single package. &lt;a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/SqOZUTrAmjI/AAAAAAAAAX8/AvrEL5HfJO8/s1600-h/image%5B5%5D.png"&gt;&lt;img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="Core 2 Quad" border="0" alt="Core 2 Quad" align="left" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/SqOZVakdybI/AAAAAAAAAYA/SpYvLzFIlaY/image_thumb%5B3%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="220" height="220" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; Multi Core or Quad Core processors are widely used for Multitasking, across many application like for general purpose, networking apps, Digital signal processing &amp;amp; most used for graphics applications. Quad Core or Multi Core processor’s performance solely depends on application/software algorithms and implementation. Unless the software algorithm wont allow you to use Multi Core, you may not see any performance difference comparing to Dual Core or Core 2 Duo. Performance gains are limited by the fraction of software that can be parallelized to run on multiple cores simultaneously. Take an example :&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;If automatic virus scan starts while you are watching your favourite movie, The application running the movie is far less likely to be starved of processor power, whereas the antivirus program will be assigned to a different processor core than the one running the movie. A Dual Core may handle the situation, but what if your favourite Movie is in HD (High Definition) or Blue Ray format !! Quad Core or Multi Core processor wont let you down in such cases. The largest boost in performance will likely to be noticed in improved response time while running CPU hungry applications, like antivirus scan, searching for file and folders, ripping HD movies, large File conversions. I remember once i had around thousand contacts added in my Yahoo ID and i was in favour to save archive of each and every chat with each and every contact. After a year when i thought to backup all archive it was a real headache and ages of waiting to bind all the folders and files in to one Winrar file though the compression ratio was 0%. Why ? Because there were thousands of files and folders and while binding them to single file takes a whole CPU power. ( Well its not only cpu responsible, Hard Disk data transfer rate &amp;amp; ram i have is also making a important role here). Same waiting will be there while extracting the same file. Anyways it took era to complete the job, this could have been little fast if i used Quad Core based system with faster Hard drive and top performer RAM.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Though operating system (OS) support is more important, but adjustments to existing software are required to maximize utilization of performance boost provided by multi-core processors. Also, the ability of multi-core processors to increase application performance depends on the use of multiple threads within applications. The situation is improving day by day as now of we have less choices left. The &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crytek"&gt;Crytek&lt;/a&gt; has developed similar technologies for CryEngine 2, which powers their game, &lt;i&gt;&lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crysis"&gt;Crysis&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/i&gt;. Emergent Game Technologies' Gamebryo engine includes their Floodgate technology which simplifies multicore development across game platforms. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;These days Quad Core 2.4GHz CPU costs near about the same as Dual Core 3.0GHz, Lets see the performance difference as mentioned by &lt;a href="http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core2quad-q6600.html"&gt;Xbit Labs review&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div align="center"&gt; &lt;table border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" width="573" align="center"&gt;&lt;tbody&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Application&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Dual Core &lt;br /&gt;3.0 GHz&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Quad Core &lt;br /&gt;2.4GHz&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Improvement&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;Excel 2007 (Less is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;39.9&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;24.4&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;63%&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;WinRAR 3.7 (Less is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;188&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;180&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;5%&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;Photoshop CS3 (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;70&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;73&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;-4%&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;Microsoft Movie Maker 6.0 (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;73&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;80&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;-9%&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;PCMark05 (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;9091&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;8853&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;-3%&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;SysMark 2007, E-Learning (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;167&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;140&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;-16%&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;SysMark 2007, Video Creation (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;131&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;151&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;15%&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;SysMark 2007, Productivity (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;152&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;138&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;-9%&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;SysMark 2007, 3D (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;160&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;148&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;-8%&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;Quake 4 (High is Better)&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="86"&gt;136&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="88"&gt;117&lt;/td&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="66"&gt;-15%&lt;/td&gt; &lt;/tr&gt; &lt;tr&gt; &lt;td valign="top" width="331"&gt;F.E.A.R. Results of Excel 2007 and Lost Planet concurrent operations are surprising due to possible reason of software engineering and algorithms. &lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="left"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="left"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion :&lt;/strong&gt; Dual Core’s higher Clock speed wins in battle for general purpose, Multi Core CPUs are not better in performance unless Multi tasking job is given or software algorithm is supported. Its a nature of technology to be upgraded every moment, you cant ignore that, what really matters is what you are going to do with your processor.&lt;/div&gt; &lt;p&gt;What a Quad Core processor will do is add an additional two cores to the system, if an application can take advantage of the more advanced multi-threading abilities of a quad-core system, you will likely see some performance advantage. If the application will not, you will not see any extra performance unless the quad core processor of choice outclasses the dual core processor, for example the newest Intel Core i7 975, compared to a dual core Pentium D, will be faster at any application, due to other reasons (like more efficient interface to the memory). If you can afford the quad core with no problems, I don't see any solid reason to avoid such a purchase, it won't damage performance, shouldn't raise the power consumption up too much, and with more SMP friendly applications (like video encoding, or playing back HD video content), you will see a healthy performance advantage over a single or dual core CPU.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Also read : &lt;a title="Core 2 Duo vs Dual Core vs Pentium D" href="http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/07/difference-between-intel-core-2-duo-vs.html"&gt;Difference Between Intel Core 2 Duo vs Dual Core vs Pentium D&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; </description><link>http://www.ialwayscapital.com/2009/09/difference-between-intel-core-2-duo-vs.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (I Caps)</author><media:thumbnail xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" url="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_LcG3XjAC3Eg/SqOZVakdybI/AAAAAAAAAYA/SpYvLzFIlaY/s72-c/image_thumb%5B3%5D.png?imgmax=800" height="72" width="72" /><thr:total>0</thr:total></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8697732835742435571.post-7541381222649883920</guid><pubDate>Fri, 14 Aug 2009 14:41:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-08-29T17:18:49.628-07:00</atom:updated><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">Mobile</category><category domain="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#">How to</category><title>How to Hide or Lock SMS MMS Email in Nokia Mobile Phone Inbox</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Have you ever wanted to hide some SMS ( text message) which is private for you.
