What are the different technologies available? What standards are being formulated? How well can these systems scale? This panel of experts outlines a framework for IP Network Video Surveillance systems, both wireline and wireless, discusses the difference between broadcast, unicast and multicast and offers insight on H.264, the newest video compression technology.

The panelists examine how to scale an IP Surveillance system from 25 to 1,000 cameras, the bandwidth requirements for scaling this system, the technologies associated, and how to mitigate implementation challenges along the way. Dealers, installers and security systems integrators will gain an understanding of the technologies available for IP Network Video Surveillance Systems, how to scale a system for large deployment, the new standards that are being formulated and how to alleviate implementation challenges.
