In addition to her amazing clothing line, my friend Alison Lewis' hair also consistently looks amazing -- long and straight with perfect bangs. The other night as it was getting late she sleepily said, "Well, I think tomorrow is a spray shampoo day." Huh? She turned me on to this product: Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo. It's great for those days when you're just too lazy (-->Anne) to wash your hair and you need to de-greasify your mane.

The pump spray releases a fine mist of powder into your hair, that absorbs excess oil, and voila -- you have fresh-out-of-the-shower-looking hair without any of the effort! (Tip: if you have dark hair like I do, the powder may leave a noticeable sheen. Just brush your hair out or wipe a damp cloth over it to get rid of the tint.)

Also, any stylist will tell you that you shouldn't wash your hair every day. I've never managed to follow this advice -- after two days it looks like someone rubbed a piece of fried chicken through my hair, so I always give in and shampoo (Melissa does too!). However, I think I've found our solution!
