Tony Lee is a #1 New York Times Best Selling Author of comics, novels and audio dramas – including both Tenth and Eleventh Doctor ongoing DOCTOR WHO series for IDW, THE GLOOM and AGENT MOM for MTV, the SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE BAKER STREET IRREGULARS series of children’s GNs for Hachette / Franklin Watts and both DOCTOR WHO and BERNICE SUMMERFIELD audio dramas for Big Finish. Andrew returned to acting playing the role of Freedom Fighter Jake Simmonds in Series 2 of Doctor Who where he battled the Cybermen in the episodes, ‘Rise of the Cybermen’ and ‘The Age of Steel’ before returning in the series finale to take on the Daleks in the episode entitled, ‘Doomsday’. Andrew made his mark on the West End stage shortly after, playing Romeo in Shakespeare’s famous tragedy.

Andrew’s Voice Over work includes various radio and TV commercials and more prominently as one of the regular Announcers for ITV4. Andrew has starred in the AKT NOW campaign, working alongside Sir Ian McKellen and Paul O’Grady among others in the hope of raising awareness for young, homeless LGBT people. Andrew recently made the move back to presenting, joining the team as a reporter for Channel 5′s ‘Live with Gabby’.

Davis studied Fine Art and was a professional Sculptor for 12 years. He is best known for his design of the Gramophone International Classical Music Award, an award regarded as the highest accolade for Classical Music and has Luciano Pavarotti among its recipients. Paul was awarded The Association of British Artists Award for Sculpture in 1996 and was shortlisted for The National association of British Sculptors award in 1998.

In 2001, after a chance meeting, he was offered the lead in a Channel Four film about the life of Casanova. In the same year he played the ghost of the Cavalier in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Over the next few years Paul played leads in many independent films and in 2007 was cast in Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood. Other roles include playing alongside Colin Farrell in Woody Allen’s ‘Casandra’s Dream’.

She is the cousin of Karen Gillan, who plays the older Amy Pond, although they had never met before Doctor Who. It was Gillan who convinced producers to allow Blackwood to play the role, although she had to go through auditions first.

We are thrilled to be having her and her mother, Linda, joining us in Florida.

This FREE EVENT will be a celebration in more than one way, as it will see us return to our home of Cricketers Arms Pub and Eatery. Cricketers, the home of our Pub Nights for many years, had to close earlier this year to relocate. We are thrilled that they have re-opened in their new location on Sand Lake Road in Orlando, and will be hosting our events once more!

Comic Connection will also be on hand that evening to give us a sampling of the latest merchandise.
